All Hallow’s Eve had always been for the two of them. They would spend day and night together, not one moment apart, sharing a bed until the morning's earliest hours, even once Andy had gone off to Hogwarts without her.
All Hallow’s Eve had always been for the two of them. They had their very own traditions, far off the solemn Samhain rites and silly Hallowe’en feasts at school, that they considered sacred, more and more as they grew older. Or so she believed.
All Hallow’s Eve had always been for the two of them, the one night on which they both agreed that together they could conquer the world.
All Hallow’s Eve had always been for the two of them. And it was on Hallowe’en when Andromeda disclosed to her that she would leave by sunrise.
Narcissa would not let her. She would not. Would have screamed and cried at this very moment had she not been aware of what was at stake if they were caught.
She would not let her go, that she vowed, even if it meant keeping the sun from rising. All Hallow’s Eve was for the two of them. And it would always be.
