Chihiro finally decided to talk to Sakura. She always felt weak and frail and helpless, traits that were associated with being a girl. But looking at Sakura, being strong and powerful and feminine at the same time!? That's what she wanted. It never occurred to her that girls could be strong. And so she asked to meet in the night to train. To speak to her in secret.
She arrived at the gym but no one was there. She waited a good 10 minutes. Then she decided to knock on the girls dressing room, she didn't have a girls handbook, and the giant gun pointed her way was terrifying.
"Hello, Chihiro? Is that you?" Sakura responded from the confines of the girls room.
"Yeah…" She said weekly "can you come out here real quick… I have something to tell you.
"Okay…"
She watched as Sakura emerged from the other side of the door.
"Why don't we talk in here?" She said pointing at the room she just left.
"Well… I… I.." She felt tears start to roll down her face and she put her head down. "I can't" she finally said
"Woah, um why don't we sit down?" Sakura said clearly not knowing what to do in this situation. Chihiro sniffles "mmmhumm"
Once they were sitting, Chihiro broke the silence " I have to tell you something.. I haven't told anyone this." She couldn't seem to find the words so instead she pushed her handbook into the other girl's hand. The screen lit up and and it read
SEX: MALE
Chihiro was staring at the floor, cheeks red, tears streaming down her face.
Sakura put a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, it's ok. It's ok that you are trans, I won't treat you any differently, let's get that handbook of yours fixed ok?
Chihiro looked up at Sakura "Trans? What's that?"
Sakura let of a soft chuckle " Well it is when someone doesn't identify with the gender they were at birth, and it is completely normal"
"It is?" She said feeling a weight lifted off her chest. "So is it ok if I train with you?"
"Of course, us girls have to stick together"
They trained for 2 hours and Chihiro stayed behind. Changing in the boys lockers for now, waiting for monokuma to update her handbook. But unfortunately she got murdered by Mondo before that could happen.
