You finally decided to roll out from your side of the bed, the sun was getting down and it had been almost a day since you both arrived. You would have plenty of time to sleep around anyways.
Stepping out into the living area, you could see the leftover coffee from breakfast you both had had in hopes of beating the nasty jet lag, only to make it worse..
“Ah you’re up? I was just down in the lobby, still hadn’t connected my computer to the Wifi.” Taehyung stated, closing the door as he entered the suite.
“Oh right.. how long have you been up?”
“I didn’t sleep actually, just trying to fix the sleep schedule I guess.” He placed the computer down and nervously rubbed his palms against his jacket as he flashed a gentle smile which you returned instinctively.
“Could I get your bag? I need the files so I can get started-”
“Y/N, they sent us a couple of days ahead of time for a reason, so we can adjust, we just travelled to the other side of the world you know?”
“I know, I know, I’m just.. I don’t know what else to do, I can’t just keep lounging around.”
“I see.. I’m boring you aren’t I?”
“What? No it’s not like that, I’m not.. well no you’re not-”
“It’s okay Y/N,” he reassured, “I’m getting pretty exhausted myself, but you know, we could always.. try something together?”
“Like what?”
“Well for starters, I know for a fact you’ve wanted to go to the beach ever since Mr. Lee told you we’d be coming,” you raised your eyebrows at that, “and you- Oh oh.. No! no no, you left your computer open.. I wasn’t creeping or anything.” he clarified quick enough.
You couldn’t help but laugh,
“Of course I did.”
“And.. um..” he started shyly, “there’s this museum that I was interested in.. if you’d like to tag along?”
“I.. would actually.”
Maybe you would not be sleeping around that much after all.
“And for now.. well for now we could try getting to know each other better?”
“We could try.” Taking over his initiative, you guided yourselves to the couch where you sat legs up facing each other.
“So here goes I guess, Hi, my name is Kim Taehyung, I have a dog named Yeontan and it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
