"So now that everyone gathered here, what do you say on watching horror?" Shion asked Satoshi, Rena and Keiichi who came to her apartment.
"Why horror? I know it's Halloween, but we don't celebrate it in Japan..." Keiichi answered looking at the others.
"Well, it's not like we are going to ask for candies wearing costumes... But wouldn’t that be scary? Wouldn't? Maybe better watch something more... peaceful."
"I agree with Rena, would be bad if we all had nightmares after that." Satoshi said with a little worried expression.
"No complaining. I got this movie from sis so you should treat this as club activities!"
"Hey, what kind of logic is this?" Keiichi asked as he started to worrying.
"Logic saying you are gonna get punished if you shy away!" Shion announced grinning and turning on a movie.
Rena, Satoshi and Keiichi all were looking at one another, then looked at Shii confused.
Keiichi wasn't a huge fan of horror. He was still traumatized after reading a manga about a girl who puts sewing needles in a man's food.
"Sure, let's do it!" Of course, it's not like something so trivial would stop him. He was a man, that’s what he repeated himself.
Rena and Satoshi were hesitant, but didn't want to get punished.
And so everyone sat on the sofa and started watching, reluctantly or not.
First macabric scene... Second macabric scene... And now terrifying scene.
Keiichi gulped, trying not to scream and looked at the others carrefully.
Satoshi was probably most scared of them all, but tried to stay calm.
"Satoshi-kun, I'm so scared!" Shion hugged Satoshi in fear. No, Keiichi saw it clearly. She only pretended that so she can hold onto Satoshi.
Damn you, Shion. Turning the tables like that... Keiichi thought, pouting.
"It's okay, I'm with you." Satoshi answered hugging Shion back. Now, it was clear how afraid he was... But still chose to pretend like it didn't bother him at all.

"Keiichi-kun, are you scared?" Rena asked suddenly. It wasn't anything abnormal that she could see through him.
"Pfffft... Something like that would never scare me..." Keiichi answered obviously lying.
"No need to be embarrassed, Kei-chan. Everyone clearly see how afraid you are~" Shion said unexpectedly, smirking at him.
"Don’t worry, you can hold my hand if it’s really a trouble to you~" Rena added smiling reasuringly.
"I-i told you already! That's not a big deal!"
"So not hand-holding?"
After a little thought Keiichi grabbed Rena's hand. "Only because it’s you, okay? I'm not scared or anything!" he answered blushing madly and looking away.
They returned to watching and after some gruesome scene, Keiichi started screaming and Satoshi looked away.
"Not a big deal, huh?"
"Don’t be mean, Shii-chan. There is nothing wrong in being scared of horror movies. Right, Keiichi-kun?"
Did Rena and Shion united to mock me? Keiichi thought as he saw them looking at each other meaningful.
"Satoshi, you are with me here, right? Tell them something!" Maebara said, hoping for getting a help from his friend.
"Don’t worry, Keiichi. There is nothing to be afraid of." Satoshi answered, smiling reassuringly.
Just admit you are even more scared than me! Keiichi thought, clenching his teeth.
"Ehhh, even you against me?" Maebara sighed disappointed but started laughing with everyone after a while.
Even though he wasn't a huge fan of horror, it was fun spending time like that with his friends. It's not like he would admit that though.
