Gina woke up late and was running late for the first day back to school, her first day of her junior year, luckily Ricky was picking her up.
He honked the horn when he arrived and she ran outside with a smile after saying bye to her mom.
Terri wasn’t Ricky’s biggest fan she knew how much pain he put her daughter through, she MUCH preferred EJ but she was trying to be open minded.
“Morning” Ricky said.
Gina kissed Ricky good morning, he then got a text from “Big Red” and as Ricky was texting him back Gina was putting on her seatbelt when she saw EJ through his opened window as she is now living right across the street from him.
She looked at him for a while with sad eyes until EJ turned around and saw her, she quickly turned her head away. She felt bad, she and EJ haven’t talked since she and Ricky got together like at all.
She was disappointed by that because she missed their friendship and him in general.
She was also feeling something else but she didn’t know what that feeling was yet.
She looked out the corner of her eye and saw the window was now closed and had the curtain closed as well.
“Yeah he definitely hates me” she thought which did break her heart
Ricky then turned to her and saw the sad expression on her face
“You good?” he asked. “Yep all good” she said, shaking the expression “Let’s go”.
