Summary
After the defeat of the Iron Lords at the hands of Rasputin and SIVA, the fabled Warlord and Felwinter's Lover Lord Massereene entrusted Lord Shaxx with the safety of his people before supposedly dying of a broken heart. Seemingly disappearing without a trace, the Lord and his faithful Lieutennant haven't been seen for centuries, and aside from an overgrown memorial where the fortress of Petravore once stood, he has mostly faded from public memory.
Now -- centuries later -- two strangers accompany Aunor Mahal to a meeting with the Vanguard to discuss the rising usage of Stasis and the continued presence of the Drifter. They have a secret objective from the Praxic Order -- track the Drifter, set up surveilance, and put together a threat assessment.
It seems simple enough, but the task is far more difficult than anticipated. And far more...interesting.
This story is supposed to start at the beginning of Witch Queen...ish.
