Denki, who is regressed and really needs to go potty, except the class is out to a heroes’ museum and they’re standing in line to get in. It is a long line and it seems like they’ve already been standing here for hours.
He tugs on Kirishima’s shirt sleeve again and whines softly, he’s surrounded by his friends (them unconsciously shielding the little from the crowd of people because he knows how nervous he gets in crowds).
“What’s up, kiddo?” Kirishima asks, leaning in so Denki can put his mouth next to his ear and not have to shout.
Denki whimpers, “have to go potty.”
He says it loud enough that Bakugo, who had been standing ahead of him, stops and turns around, “how bad?”
“Really bad,” he says, squeezing his thighs together and clamping down on his own ‘wee wee’. He makes his hands into fists in an attempt to not grab himself down there, he’s been yelled at for that before.
He feels a comforting hand on his back. It’s Sero and he is trying to comfort the little before he gets too fussy. Something they all, unfortunately, know about.
Denki keeps talking because he is distracting himself from the urges he is desperately feeling. “I tried to g-go befores we got on the bus, but I d-didn’t haves to go then and now I really really do!” His face scrunches up in an effort to not cry.
“You’re okay,” Kirishima says in a gentle tone. “We’re almost inside and then I will take you straight to the bathroom, okay little one?”
Denki just nods and bounces back and forth on his feet. He looked ahead in the line and it did not seem like they were almost inside. He looks down at his feet and feels himself start to cry. He really has to go!
“Is… is everything okay?” they hear Midoyria speak up from a couple of feet away.
They all know that not a lot of people know about Denki being a little, and perhaps a few have caught on but not really said anything (they haven’t really been discreet about it, as per Denki’s request) but that doesn’t give him the invitation to jump in like this. So Bakugo takes care of him with a simple, “butt out, nerd. None of your business.”
Izuku, knowing when it is appropriate and when it isn’t, ducks back away with a blush on his cheeks. He keeps quiet about it, but they all notice (except Denki who is concentrating really really hard right now!) him go up to their teacher at the front of their class and talk with him for a minute or two.
In just a couple of minutes after that, their teacher comes back to escort them to the front of the line where he pays for their class’s tickets and then himself, Kirishima, and Denki get to go in ahead of the line.
“Use the buddy system, don’t get lost. Meet us back here at the front for the tour.”
“Yes, sir, Aizawa. Thank you!” Kirishima salutes and then hurriedly guides Denki toward the closest rest area.
Denki, who is clutching the front of his pants now while he whimpers a little more. “I gotta go, I gotta go, I gotta go!” he chants a little loudly.
“I know bud, almost there,” Kirishima grunts, opening the door to the family bathroom, ignoring the glances their way.
Once inside and the door is shut, he helps Denki with the button and zipper on his pants, knowing that the child-minded individual wouldn’t be able to figure it out on his own right away due to his desperation, and they didn’t have the extra time to spare.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he is whispering over and over again.
Kirishima turns around so that Denki can do his business in private (they are close, but not that close) and when he hears the sigh of relief followed by the sounds of the other urinating in the toilet, he breathes a sigh of relief. Thank god.
He turns back around when he hears the boy do up the front of his pants again and he sees the electric blond grinning from ear to ear. “I made it! No accidents today!”
“Yes, yes you did buddy. Good job!” Kirishima praises him.
Then the redhead guides the little to the sink to help him wash his hands and they exit the bathroom together. Meeting up with their group is easy because the class stands out like a sore thumb, and he watches their other two friends share twin looks of relief when they see that the bathroom trip was a success.
Kirishima also catches Midoryia eye and he makes a mental note to thank the green-haired boy later.
