Aether is very hungry tonight. He has been working all day on a paper that is due tomorrow, which he could've done a week ago. But his annoying roommate, Kunikuzushi, never shuts up about his already deteriorated relationship with his mother.
"KUNI! LUTO KA NG PANCIT CANTON!"
Kuni entered his room with a scrunched up expression.
"Ayoko nga. Bakit ako magluluto, di' naman ako gutom."
"Gutom na ako. Ikaw na magluto ng pancit canton. Tinatapos ko pa yung essay ko. Kung di' ka sana kasi maingay, natapos ko na sana last week pa."
Kuni left without a reply.
Aether continued writing his essay, internally crying that he had to endure his hunger for a few more hours before he could eat. He tried remembering the words from the 50 paged book he has written about.
He was suddenly slapped on the back.
"ARAY GAGO!"
"Ingay mo. Ito na yung pancit canton mo."
Kuni handed him the pancit canton that he desperately needed.
"Wow, may boiled egg. Mahal mo nga talaga ako Kuni~"
"Adik ka talaga. Alis na nga ako dito."
Aether grabbed the boy and made him sit on his bed. He also fed him to make him shut up.
"Malapit ka na ba matapos? Bored na ako."
"Aba, ang angas mo, ah. Don't worry, malapit na. Mema na nga lang yung conclusion ko."
"Hah, kaya ka laging bagsak."
"Sampalin kita dyan."
