December 12, 2017.
A few days ago i found this really weird game in my family's garage while helping my father clean. It was titled "Cagetrap: New memories", it seemed to be an old nintendo game judging by the cartridge. I asked my father about this, he said it was from my cousin that went missing a year ago. She was about 11 or 10 at the time, my family thought that she died. Though that was not confirmed, they never found her body. Anyways i should get back on track.
When i opened the game, the developer behind it was a company called "Tapers Games". I tried to look the company up, but all i got was an artical on Cagetrap. The game had a note on it, it said to press left, up,
B, down, A, B, X, then down in cell room 008, whatever that is anyways. It took me to the save files, there were 2 left over save files from the previous owners. One was named "Clover", another was named "Luck". I named mine "Moth", after me and my older brothers dog, we both thought that naming a dog "Moth" was so funny. The intro of the game was something about my character getting arrested for war crimes from 2012.
Speaking of 2012, my family broke apart on the christmas of 2012. I don't really know why i'm telling you this since it's a really touchy subject, but on the christmas of 2012 my adopted younger brother (i'll be calling him R) blew up a local walmart, and things only got worse from there. My younger sisters venus fly trap died after my older brother took care of it, now she has an ammense hatred for him. I should really get back on track, thanks for listening Bea, you've been so much help this past week.
Anyways, the first stage is in cell room 001. To escape you needed to use a crowbar from under bed and then drag the toilet out of the way. Going inside the toilet hole thing was.. an experience, inside were some of the games currency, i think it was called clovers. There were a path of them through the cells and prison all together, i even found some in my avatars bed. The level outside of the cell was a sewer weirdly with a piano, you needed to play flea waltz/Der flohwalzer on the piano to open the door, i remember learning that song with you when we were kids. That was a fun time, remember when R used to bang on the piano? Anyways.
Out side of the sewer was cell 009, one of the inmates wanted us to give inmate 008 a hammer in exchange for a keycard, so i did just that. When i did it, 009 gave me the keycard and told me to look for the gates. Well guess what? THE GATE WAS FUCKING GLITCHED! I was going to restart but then i remembered the note, i went to cell 008 and did the code. It made a weird noise and i just walked out, then just like a shitty creepypasta from the 2000s the game sent me into a garden full of blue roses and hydrangeas. Though in the garden, there was a path of clovers leading somewhere, there was a sign infront of my avatar. It said "Welcome to wonderland!", i followed the clover path, it led me to a girl with a party hat.
She said something about another lost soul, it went something like this "oh, hello there! I'm assuming you're another lost soul aren't you?". It was really weird, its like the game's trying to convince me that it has an entity in it. Very weird, my older brother (i'll just call F from now on, i'll also start calling my younger sister A.) Once showed me an AI he coded, it was able to have a conversation with you.
Anyways, the girl led me to a table decked in sweets and cookies. She invited me to sit down and have a tea party, the girl said something about birthdays and the very game i was playing. She asked somethings like "What's your name?" "You seem familliar, do i know you?" and "did you come to my birthday parties?". The character kinda reminded me of my cousin, the one who went missing, you may know her as Mai. She's been missing since june 5th 2016, i remembered when you used to always give her party hats when she was here. Those were some good memories, but i'm getting off track, i'm sending you this doc so you can help me, not so we can dwell on the past.
After talking to her i went to explore this so called "wonderland", there were many different places and areas through out wonderland. There was also a lake that looked like a galaxy, i had to borrow a yellow boat to get across. It reminds me of that time we went on a boat trip together. After i reached the other side, the place seemed to be more lively. There were villages, taverns, castles and bakery's, when i was walking around there was an NPC singing. The NPC had blue hair, it seemed to sing a cover of "a dream is a wish your heart makes". Really weird choice for a video game about getting arrested but i don't mind.
Remember when R got arrested for arson? We had to present our cases, it didn't help that my dad commited horrific crimes in nam. Eventualy they dropped the charges, the judge couldn't fathom how a 12-13 year old could blow up a walmart, gamestop, and blockbuster all in like 18 minutes i think. R was a really briliant kid, hell he's smarter than me and i'm 15! He's like 1-2 years younger than me! I still wonder how he got so smart, well i guess he was the only one legally adopted. The rest of my siblings (including me) was either born from a test tube, or got kidnapped. I remember my dad accidently blurted out that we were all adopted, just that R was legally.
Anyways it's getting late and i need to work on my homework, i don't want to fail my classes. Contact me IMMEDIANTLY if you find any information on cagetrap. Also wanna hang out tommorow?
