Work Text:
Katarina: "To think we'd live long enough to see the snow like this."
Kris: "You make it sound like we're old."
Katarina: "I-I didn't mean it like that. It's just that this is the first time I've seen the snow for what it is. Before, it was just fighting and -."
Kris: "You don't need to worry about that anymore. I'll make sure of it."
Katarina: "I know that, but..."
Kris: "But?"
Katarina: "...Kris, thank you for coming to the Winter Festival with me. And everything you've done before that. Here. This isn't much, but I wanted to show how much it meant to me."
Kris: "Oh, Katarina...Wait, well this isn't going according to plan."
Katarina: "Not going according to plan? I'm sorry, I didn't know you were busy."
Kris: "Hold on. It's just that I was going to give you this as well."
Katarina: "No, Kris. You really shouldn't."
Kris: "This is to say thank you for looking out for everyone at the Winter Festival. For watching the snow with me. And for just being there for us, thick and thin."
Katarina: "Kris, I...I don't know what to say. Please, if it's not too much to ask, please just accept my gift."
Kris: "I will if you do me a huge favor."
Katarina: "Yes, anything."
Kris: "It would mean the world to me if you accept my gift as well."
Katarina: "That's not-! Ugh, I did say anything."
Kris: *giggles* "Now you're getting it. Let's do this every Winter Festival. Until we really do get old."
Katarina: "Let's."
