Maybe if I paid more attention....

Maybe if I had more protection wards surrounding the crib.....

Maybe if I was a better parent....

They would still be here.

James looks at his wife, contemplating if he should let her grieve alone. And it is grief. They never got to hear their first words or see them take their first steps. They never got to tuck them into bed or eat ice cream after a nightmare. They never got to congratulate them when they did well in school. They never got to see them having friends or warn them about dating.

They didn't get to do anything. 
They missed everything.

James looks at Lily for a few more minutes before he picks her up and lays her down in their bed. After making sure she was comfortable he goes down stairs and into the kitchen. Usually, he would have had one of the house elfs making breakfast but he needs a distraction. Two hours later, when breakfast is done and on the table, he goes up the stairs and makes a right.

"Harry? Time to get up." He says as he knocks on the door. Harry James Potter. Their third child, born two years after Ambrosia and Atlas went missing. They love Harry with all their heart but it doesn't change the fact that Ambrosia and Atlas aren't here. It doesn't take the pain away.

Today Harry should be at school but they always keep him home this time of the year. Being apart from him makes them worry something could happen.

The door opens, revealing a 15 year old boy. His black hair messier than usual and his green eyes unfocused. "Hmm?" The boy hums, not completely awake. James chuckles at his son, he's just like Lily in the morning. Would Ambrosia and Atlas be like Lily in the morning, hating to wake up? Or would they be like me, getting up early with lots of energy? He shakes his head, not wanting to go down that rabbit hole.

"It's time for breakfast kid." The moment the words were out if James' mouth, Harry's eyes immediately focus. "Food!" He cheers as he runs down stairs and into the dining room.

James smiles, Harry's a lot like him when there's food involved. He heads to his room to go and wake Lily.  He would let her sleep but he knows that if he did, she would sleep the day away. It takes him almost a half an hour to get Lily up and on her feet.

Faye, their owl, flies in just as they sat down. They all look at each other in confusion. "Are any of you expecting a letter?" Lily asks. When they both shake their head no, she takes out her wand. She waves it over the letter. When it reveals that nothing is harmful, she picks it up.

Lily suddenly let's out a sob, scaring both James and Harry. Harry runs to his mom when he sees her legs giving out. Harry holds his mom as as sobs into his shoulder. Seeing that his wife was being taken care of, James takes the letter.

Dear Potters,

I know this may be hard to believe but Ambrosia and Atlas Potter are alive. They've been living in the muggle world. They were adopted by a nice family and are now known as Wanda and Pietro Maximoff.

Please come to Hogwarts immediately if you want to learn more.

-Sorcerer Supreme.

James clenched his fists as he takes a few deep breaths. He's heard about the mythical Sorcerer Supreme. Everyone in the Wizarding World has. If this is true, then they could see their children again. He needs to see his children.

James looks at Lily, who's starting to calm down. "Do you want to go?" She asks. James immediately nods his head. He almost runs out the door before Lily stops him.

She chuckles, "We should change. We don't want to meet them in pajamas." James looks down at his unicorn pajamas and flushes, embarrassed.

Harry looks at his parents in confusion. "Go where? Meeting who?" Lily and James share a glance before James gives the letter to Harry. Harry smiles when he finishes reading the letter. "Do I really get to meet them?" He asks his parents. His parents told him about his older siblings and he's always dreamed of meeting them.

"It's possible." Lily says, not wanting to get her son's hope up if this turns out to be a joke. Harry cheers before rushing off to his room to get dressed. James and Lily smile at his excitement.

James and Lily open the doors to the great hall. It looks like they weren't the only ones invited. All types of people are here. From the Weasleys to the Malfoys. Dumbledore and McGonagall also got a letter, informing them that people would be showing up at Hogwarts to learn what happened to the Potter twins and to prevent a catastrophic future.

"Come in, come in!" Dumbledore says with a welcoming smile. The students there look on, curious. They weren't informed about anyone coming.

Harry runs to his friends, smiling. They all smile back at him before questioning him. He shows them the letter and they hug him, happy that he has a chance to meet his siblings.

Before the students could question what was going on, an orange portal opened and dropped eleven people. While one women landed in a pose, everyone else fell onto their ass.

"Get off!"

"Who's touching my ass?"

"I'm older!"

"Get your foot out of my face!"

"Whoever is on top of me is heavy!"

"Could you please move Mr. Rogers?"

"What am I touching?"

"Uggh. You being older doesn't have anything to do with you crushing me!"

"If you don't move I'm going to stab you."

"No stabbing Loki!"

"Ow, who bit my foot."

The lady standing coughs, getting their attention. She points to their audience making all of them blush. They scramble to get up. They all look at each other before a man steps forward. "Who are you, where are we and what are we doing here?"

McGonagall steps forward. "We are Wizards. You are in Hogwarts. A school for witchcraft and wizardry. You are here because of this." She says as she hands him the letter that was given to her. The man reads the letter, eyes wide. He passes it around to the people around him. One of them with red hair like Lily's and the other is a mini James.

Lily and James look at each before observing their children. They want to go up to them and hug them, but they're practically strangers.

"How about introducing yourselves?" Dumbledore suggests. They nod in agreement.

"Steve Rogers."

"Clint Barton."

"Bruce Banner."

"I am Vision."

"Loki, Child of Frigga."

"Thor, Son of Odin!"

"Peter Parker."

"Tony Stark. Genius. Playboy. Billiona-"

He's cut off when the women from before hits him.

"Natasha Romanoff."

"Pietro Maximoff and-"

"Wanda Maximoff-"

"I'm older by twelve minutes." Pietro says causing Wanda to hit him on the head.

Wanda and Pietro look around the room, catching sight of Lily and James. Their eyes widen, knowing who they are. They look at them for a few more minutes before turning away.

They didn't want to see the people who abandoned them. They didn't want to see the people that gave them up like trash.

A lot of muggleborns and halfbloods squeal when they realize the Avengers are in front of them.

McGonagall let's them talk and fangirl for a few more minutes before she calls their attention. "To those of you who don't know. The Sorcerer Supreme has asked us to watch the lives of two specific people. Wanda and Pietro Maximoff."

Wanda and Pietro share a look. They weren't excited about this. The team knows the basics of their lives but they don't know everything.

The students start whispering, either about the Sorcerer Supreme or their favorite Avengers. McGonagall calls their attention once more. "We have been sent five movies. We should get started." Just as she was finished talking, the room was transformed into a more comfortable setting. Couches, bean bags, blankets, and pillows everywhere.

The Avengers all sit together, making a protective circle around Loki, Wanda, Pietro, and Peter. Their youngest (and favorite) Avengers.

Once everyone else is seated the first movie starts.
