Work Text:
After hearing everything that Itto went through, Gorou wondered how anyone could still be so kind towards others when Itto felt unwanted by most. Sure the oni may have seemed a bit intimidating when he first approached Gorou as Ms. Hina, but getting to know the oni more, Gorou felt a bit ashamed that he assumed the oni to be scary. As his ears nestled down against his skull, Gorou tucked his legs in a bit closer to his body as a wave of guilt washed over him.
“So how did you overcome it?” Gorou asked sincerely, his ears perking up just a bit while waiting for Itto’s answer. “How can you still smile when people have treated you so horribly?” Gorou asked again, cupping his hands onto his ankles as he saw the smile start to form on the oni’s face.
“I just took one day at a time.” Itto remarked with a simple shrug of his shoulders. “I mean, it’s not like I don’t understand where they are coming from.” Itto continued, moving to lean back a bit on his bed, using one arm to keep his balance behind himself. “Humans were always told that oni’s were nothing but bad news. That they bring misfortune wherever they go. But Grandma oni was willing to take me in despite all that.” Itto added, only to shift back into a sitting upright position on the bed.
“She still had her reservations and her own prejudice, but after seeing how badly the beans affected me, she realized that I was still a kid….despite being an oni, I was helpless when those kids attacked me with the beans when I did nothing wrong.” Itto explained, causing Gorou to look up at him in awe. “I couldn’t really afford to let her prejudice get the better of me.” It was a hard pill for Itto to swallow at the time, but eventually he came to understand where Grandma Oni was coming from. “I mean, we still have our differences and won’t be able to see eye to eye on everything, but she’s always been real with me from day one. And I stand behind most of her decisions.” It was similar to a relationship between a grandmother and grandson with a large age gap between them.
“I don’t know if I could ever be that forgiving…” Gorou trailed off, his eyes glancing down at the table in front of him. Instinctively Gorou placed a hand on his stomach where he had been cut, the pain was gone but knowing that he allowed that to happen always seemed to eat at Gorou. “Did those kids ever mess with you again?” Gorou asked, his interest in hearing a bit more of Itto’s backstory seemingly perked up his spirits.
“Bah, they were just kids who didn’t know any better.” Itto spoke, waving his hand in front of his face like it was not a big deal. “They only really apologized to me because Grandma Oni gave their parents an ear full when she heard what happened. Not like they meant it anyways.” Itto explained, remembering the look of hatred on those kids’ faces. “Besides, Granny got them good the following year by throwing water balloons at them that had a mixture of water and flour. They ran away so fast, I couldn’t help but laugh.” At least it was hard to get the mixture out of the clothes that the kids were wearing, a bit of karma that was harmless.
Gorou couldn’t help but smile a bit at the thought of those kids getting a small sample of karma back to them. The tense air seemed to lift, allowing Gorou to relax a bit. “I’m glad that you’re still here though.” Gorou softly muttered under his breath, hoping that the oni wouldn’t hear him. “Getting back on track for why I’m here…” Gorou stammered a bit as he pulled out his phone to look over his notes. “I think it’s high time that we go on a date ourselves.” Gorou remarked, only to stand up with a soft flush to his cheeks. “I have to see how you handle yourself on a date and take notes on what you need to do to improve yourself for a date with Ms. Hina.” Yes, this was for the sake of the bet of making Itto fall even more in love with Ms. Hina after all.
“A date? Like a real date?” Itto asked, feeling his cheeks become a bit flushed at the idea of going out with someone. Sure he wanted to go out with Ms. Hina, but that was just a simple reward for stopping her wannabe kidnappers. This felt different. Sure it was supposed to be for training purposes, but Itto never had someone bluntly ask him out on a date. Gorou sure knew how to take the initiative. “I-I don’t even really have anything to wear for a date. Or the mora to take someone out on a date.” Despite having a successful yakuza grandmother to help get him out of jail, Itto never really had much in the way of funds. Itto would only get as much as he could in advance by working odd jobs in order to pay for Ms. Hina tickets
“Don’t worry about funds.” Gorou quickly interjected. “Tonight will be my treat.” Gorou continued as he placed a hand over his heart. “Think of it as my way of saying thank you for rescuing me from the man who attacked me in that alleyway.” Sure Gorou had paid Itto’s bail money from that night, but this whole bet was a way of making sure that he won the bet against Yae Miko. “So, how about you get dressed and I’ll wait outside for you.”
“A-Alright…” Itto mumbled a bit, watching as Gorou made his way outside of Itto’s bedroom. Once the door was closed behind Gorou, Itto took a few seconds to compose himself. “What was that all about?” Itto thought to himself as he got off of the bed. “I shouldn’t be getting a bit flustered just because the lil’ doggy dude asked me, the great oni Itto out on a simple date, right?” Itto continued to think to himself as he slid his closet door open. “Of course he would want to go out on a date with me. I mean, I’m me! Anyone would be lucky enough to get a date with me. I’m Arataki ‘Best Date Of Your Life’ Itto after all! Why wouldn’t someone want to date me?” Looking through his clothes, it took a while before Itto pulled something out of the closet that was appropriate for a casual date.
Outside Gorou was busy burying his face into his hands. “Why did I just do that?! I shouldn’t be taking him out on a date! He’s supposed to be on a date with Ms. Hina!!!” Shaking his head, Gorou could barely hear his thoughts over the loud beating of his heart against his chest. “But this is for the sake of the date with Ms. Hina to be a success.” Gorou tried to rationalize his thoughts, but knew that he was being a bit selfish. “I don’t even know where to take him!” Gorou panicked, realizing that he didn’t think this through carefully.
Quickly pulling up a web page, Gorou started to look at local date ideas as if his life depended on it. There were a fair amount of restaurants, but they had just got done eating some cheesecake. They could see a movie, but they would just be sitting in silence and looking up at a screen most of the time, that didn’t sound like a very good date. It was only when Gorou had noticed that there was an aquarium that had a new event going that Itto seemed to open the door. Gorou froze for a few seconds before glancing up at Itto behind him.
Standing over him, Gorou could see that Itto’s hair was still in the ponytail that he was wearing earlier. A black choker was now resting against Itto’s neck as the oni was wearing a black tank top that was under a black unbuttoned shirt that had flames stitched along the bottom. Wearing black jeans that were ripped over the jeans, a large bull head stood out on the belt. Gorou let out the small breath that he was holding before standing up. Glancing over Itto once more, Gorou seemed to be unimpressed by the oni’s choice of clothing.
“Hey lil’ dude. How do I look? Impressive right?” Itto asked, grinning from ear to ear, but it seemed that Gorou’s disapproving sigh made the oni second guess his choice of fashion. “What? I look hot! Don’t you see these flames? I’m on fire!” Itto remarked, placing both of his hands on each side of the oni’s hips. “It’s great for a first date, right?”
“Maybe if you were in middle school.” Gorou snapped as he grabbed Itto’s arm to pull the oni back into the bedroom. Shoving Itto back down on the bed, Gorou walked over to the closet to find something else for the oni to wear. Pulling out a dark red t-shirt with a black demon design on the back, Gorou picked out a simple black belt before heading back to Itto. “This would be a better choice. It’s flashy enough in the back to look subtle, and you can wear it loosely to appear more casual.” Gorou remarked as he set the shirt down next to Itto. “You don’t need a big and bulky belt buckle as it would get in the way. A simple one is good enough.” Gorou added as he glanced down at the bulky belt that was nestled on Itto’s lap.
“Go ahead and get changed, then we’ll head to the aquarium. They have a new display of jellyfish. So we can have a more fun but quiet kind of date.” Gorou remarked, though knowing how big, loud, and flashy Itto was, doing something quiet was the complete opposite of the oni’s nature. But it could still be fun for just the two of them. The first date with Ms. Hina would be more ideal in the amusement park where the oni could show off. But with the current date being with Gorou, this date would be perfect for the two to get to know each other. At least, that’s what Gorou was telling himself.
As they arrived at the aquarium, Gorou’s eyes seemed to light up at the displays of the different kinds of fish that they would be able to see while they waited in line. There were a couple of kids who were running around, some people who were on dates who were very close to each other, and some people who looked like they were on some kind of tour. “Oh look, they recently opened up a section that is for the various kinds of jellyfish.” Gorou remarked, pointing to the display of the various kinds of jellyfish that were gliding against the screen.
“Oh, you like jellyfish?” Itto asked, a bit surprised that Gorou wanted to come here of all places. It wasn’t Itto’s idea of a date, but seeing the way that Gorou was lighting up like a Christmas tree made the trip worth it. Besides, with the prices that they were charging, Itto was glad that Gorou was the one who was paying for it. If they went with the amount of mora Itto had, they would be stuck going to the beach to see fish, but without the equipment to go under the water to see them.
“It mostly reminds me of my home.” Gorou remarked, digging his hands into his pockets. “I grew up on an island that was surrounded by the ocean. So this reminds me of home in a way.” Gorou remarked, feeling a bit homesick after all these years. It wasn’t that Gorou didn’t want to go and see his family, he was just simply too busy to go back and see them. Besides, they all thought that Gorou was working for Ms. Hina as some sort of stage hand. They were left in the dark like everyone else.
“Yeah? That must have been fun. Though I was never a sea loving guy myself. I can understand the appeal of wanting to come and see the fish up close now.” Itto remarked, smiling a bit at getting to know a bit more about where the lil’ doggy dude came from. Being able to see something that reminds someone of their home could either be a fond or miserable thing. “Guess I’m lucky enough to have been raised closer to the main island in that regard then.” Itto added, never being the kind of person who could count them lucky to be on an island that had a lot of thunder and lightning storms thanks to the shogun.
“Yeah, growing up on Watatsumi Island was always a struggle. But it was home.” Gorou replied as they moved closer to the cashier. “Growing crops was usually difficult, but after it was opened up for trading, we were finally able to grow certain types of vegetables. We’re mostly known for our fish though. Especially eel.” Gorou had always had more of a sweet tooth and loved desserts like Ms. Hina does, but it was hard to grow sugar on the island.
“You know, I always wanted to try eel. But those things are just so hard to catch and I could never sneak up on them before they would dart back into the sand.” Itto remarking, thinking back on the times when he was a child. He would be trying to find something to eat for that day, and no matter what he did, he could never catch those quick eels to save his life. Which would explain why he would often resort to eating lavender melons as they were easy to beat off of the tree with a stick.
“Oh? I’ll see if I can send you and Grandma Oni some eel then. I’m sure you’ll like it.” Gorou replied, a smile landing on his face as they reached the counter. “Two tickets please.” Gorou asked politely before pulling out his wallet. Paying for the tickets, Gorou took them before handing one to Itto. “So what things did you eat when you were little?” Gorou asked, showing his interest in learning more about the oni.
“Mostly lavender melons that were roasted over a fire.” Itto replied, sliding his hands into his own pockets. “When I finally made my way to the main island, I discovered I had a sweet tooth.” Itto remarked, a small grin sliding on his face. “I usually would play some kind of card game or battle beetles with the local kids as a way of scoring some sweet snacks for myself.” Itto continued with the grin on his face, only to sigh a bit as he continued. “Of course that would be until the grown ups came along and took the kids away saying that they should never play with an oni.” Such is the life of an oni after all.
“Shame that you weren’t born on Watatsumi Island…” Gorou remarked, stopping in front of the first tank of fish that were swimming around. They were balloonfishes who were staring at Gorou with blank eyes. “I’m sure my folks would have probably taken you in.” Gorou added, feeling a faint blush forming on his cheeks as he looked at Itto’s reflection on the glass. “On Watatsumi island, we tend to take care of everyone like they were one of our own.” Gorou finished, glancing over at Itto with a nervous smile on his face. “What am I even saying right now?!” Gorou mentally scolded himself as he tried to play it off.
As they continued to walk along the pathway in awkward silence, Gorou was feeling the embarrassment swirling deep inside of him as he didn’t mean to make this more embarrassing for either one of them. Passing by the various fishes, they had stopped by the seahorse exhibit for a quick breather. Finding a bench, Itto was the first to sit down with a loud groan that echoed in the tunnel. “Ah, finally a chance to get to sit down.” Itto remarked, stretching out his toes inside of his shoes that were a little bit too snug on his feet. “Gotta say, didn’t expect there to be this much walking around in a place that has a bunch of fish swimming around.” Itto remarked, smiling at Gorou who still had a bit of redness to his cheeks from the slip up earlier.
“Well, they want to attract more customers in to see the beautiful fishes that are in the ocean. Not everyone can make it to Fontaine to see the largest aquarium there is.” Gorou remarked. With Fontaine being a big innovating land that has a lot of promise, Inazuma had to find a way to capitalize on what they had to keep people from leaving. “Besides, you’re used to waiting in line for hours to see Ms. Hina, right?” Gorou remarked, a teasing smile landing on his lips.
“W-Well, of course. I would do anything for Ms. Hina.” Itto remarked, but then again he would be wearing more comfortable clothing and shoes when he would come to see Ms. Hina. “Too bad they don’t have a section for onikabuto’s. I could tell you so many stories of the battles I seen between two gigantic beetles and how I can pick out the ones who are real fighters for any match!” Itto remarked, a big grin landing on his face as he talked about his own passion. “There was one time when I was battling this kid for his limited time Ms. Hina pudding.” Itto started to explain as he pictured the whole thing in his head.
“Imagine it, a huge rain storm was coming in from the coast. The sound of thunder rumbling in the sky and the purple glow from the lightning stirring in the dark clouds. I got my beetle ready to fight, the biggest one I ever captured. He was big, like the size of my hand.” Itto explained, showing Gorou his hand for the comparison before continuing. “The other beetle was almost as big, but not like the size of mine. Anyways, as the two beetles are staring each other down, the wind starts to pick up. The air gets colder. Then, as we count down to one, the beetles start charge at each other. Their horns bashings against each other. Their trying their best to flip the other over, the struggle is real between these two warriors. And just when it seemed like my beetle was going to lose,” Itto pauses, making it seem more dramatic than it already was. “I shouted: ‘Come on Beetlus Maximus! You got this!!’ My beetle was able to flip the other beetle over in a triumphant way as the rain started to pour down.” Itto finished, pumping one of his fists into the air as people stared at them, their attention being drawn in with how loud Itto was being.
“So did you end up getting to enjoy the pudding?” Gorou asked curiously, after all that build up, surely the oni was able to enjoy his victory. Gorou could pretty much see everything that was being described like it was some action packed movie. Even some of the kids were drawn into the story that Itto had been describing, though the parents were a bit annoyed that someone like Itto was being loud in the first place.
“It got mostly waterlogged by the time I was able to eat it.” Itto spoke, shrugging his shoulders a bit. It wasn’t about the taste of the pudding itself, but the fact that he was able to win something that was a Ms. Hina exclusive item made Itto want it more than anything at that moment. “Beetlus liked it.” Itto added, earning a soft laugh from Gorou.
“All that climax for a waterlogged pudding? You’re too much.” Gorou remarked, his tail wagging a bit behind him. “Have you ever thought about writing a story or something? You made it out to be amazing. I’m sure any story written by you would be a hit. At the very least a hit with the kids.” Gorou added, taking note of how the kids seemed to be pulled into the story.
“Nah.” Itto brushed off the idea fairly quickly. “As much as I would like to, I’m too busy for that sort of stuff.” Itto remarked, though he was more of the type who liked to procrastinate than be able to sit around and come up with something from the top of his head. Living in the moment was the kind of person that Itto was. Sure he could tell lots of stories, but he could never take the time to sit down and write any. “I gotta look out for the gang after all. They need me as much as I need them.” Hearing that, Gorou felt that it was more of an excuse than anything else.
“That’s a shame. I’m sure Ms. Hina might be willing to give your stories a shot.” Gorou remarked, moving to stand up with a stretch. “If you showed Ms. Hina that much enthusiasm, I’m sure she’ll fall head over heels for you.” Gorou added, glancing over his shoulder at Itto who looked almost dumbstruck.
“You think Ms. Hina would like my stories?” Itto asked, moving to stand up quickly. “What do I have to do?” Itto asked, grabbing a hold of Gorou’s shoulders before spinning Gorou around to face him. “What kind of stories does she like?” Itto asked, his heart pounding against his chest at the very thought of Ms. Hina doing something as reading his words on something that wasn’t a fan letter declaring Itto’s love for Ms. Hina.
“Well,” Gorou paused to think about what sort of stories the female version of himself would like to read. “Maybe some kind of romance story? Girls like romance stories.” Gorou felt like he was just simply stabbing in the dark. Sure Gorou liked some romance stories, but there were times when romance turned into smut and Gorou felt a bit conflicted with what he was reading. “After all, you could write a story about an outcast beetle that was in a crowd while a parade was going on. In the parade was the pretty princess beetle who was going to be kidnapped by a rogue beetle and the outcast saves the princess beetle in the end.” Gorou suggested, figuring that it could be a kid friendly version of Itto rescuing Ms. Hina.
“Yeeeeeaaah….I could totally write something like that!” Itto remarked, feeling energized about the idea of writing this weird beetle themed romance. “I’ll even give it to her as a gift for the date!” Itto remarked excitedly, but the chances of that happening was slim to none. But it was the thought that counted, right?
As they made their way towards the jellyfish exhibit, Gorou walked over towards the tank that had the laced jellyfish swimming inside of it. Watching them swim around the color changing tank, Gorou remembered the first time seeing Kokomi. She moved just as effortlessly as the jellyfish swam before him. Her smile always seems to make Gorou smile himself. However, since they started this whole Ms. Hina bit, it was rare to see that happy smile Kokomi used to display. Now it seemed like she was putting on some sort of fake smile just to please those around them.
A soft frown rested on Gorou’s face, unknowingly showing how he felt about the situation the two of them were in. Crossing his arms over his chest, Gorou continued to stare at the tank before feeling a hand on top of his head. Glancing up, Gorou was surprised to see a serious look on Itto’s face. Instead of glancing down at Gorou, the oni kept his gaze on the jellyfish. Gorou didn’t know what he should say or do in this situation. Normally when Gorou was deep in thought about something, people usually left him alone. But this time, Itto wasn’t cracking jokes or trying to lighten the mood up. Instead, the oni softly ruffled his fingers through Gorou’s hair and against his ears. It was an odd feeling, but one that Gorou didn’t seem to mind.
Most of the time when people tried to come up behind Gorou to touch his ears, Gorou would get flustered and lash out at them. The way that people always seemed to fake smile just so they could touch and rub his ears was always annoying. Though Itto didn’t ask permission to touch them, it still felt rather nice. It was only when Gorou could hear small bits of laughter that he finally moved his head to look up at Itto again.
“What are you doing?” Gorou asked, a faint blush resting on his cheeks as he moved to step aside. Pressing his ears against his head a bit, Gorou curled into himself slightly. It was hard for Gorou to admit that he could have fallen asleep with how Itto was gently rubbing his ears and that there was a lingering sensation in his ears from Itto’s touch.
“Oh, sorry. I guess my subconscious just wanted to know what it felt like to touch or caress your ears is all.” Itto admitted with a big yet innocent smile on his face. After seeing how similar they were to Ms. Hina’s ears, Itto’s curiosity simply got the better of him. “Gotta admit, softer than they appear.” Itto added, his hand almost seemed to itch to touch them yet again.
“N-No.” Gorou stuttered as his blush grew. “Do you honestly think that Ms. Hina would let you touch them?” Gorou asked, knowing full well that the answer would be absolutely no. “If you think that you’ll be able to touch Ms. Hina’s ears without her consent, you can think again.” The nerve of some people.
“Of course not. I have more respect for Ms. Hina’s well-being.” Itto was quick to interject. “But since you seemed tense, I only thought that rubbing your ears might relax you.” Itto admitted, figuring that rubbing a cat or dog’s ears always seemed to relax them, or at the very least make them happy. “Are your ears that sensitive?” Itto asked, wondering if perhaps he might have rubbed them the wrong way.
“It’s not that…” Gorou trailed off, feeling embarrassment swell up inside of him for getting so defensive. “I mean,-” Gorou was trying his best to find the right words that wouldn’t make it seem like he was coming off as not liking his ears being rubbed. “It’s just if you rub them, I’ll…” It was hard to admit that it would make Gorou whimper and make other suspicious noises if it felt good.
“Okay, I get it.” Itto remarked, seemingly understanding where Gorou was coming from. “My horns can get a bit sensitive as well. Despite the fact that they are solid, they can be sensitive at times.” It wasn’t something that Itto liked to admit, but around the base of his horns is where it’s the most sensitive. “If you don’t want me to touch them, I understand.” Hearing that, Gorou felt less self conscious.
“Well, maybe if we hang out a bit more, I might allow you to touch them from time to time.” Gorou remarked, though who knows how much longer the two of them would be able to hang out like this. They only got a single week together, and at the end of it, the two men would probably never be able to see each other. “But um, it’s starting to get a bit late and we’ve been here for a few hours. We should probably head up to the front.” As much as Gorou didn’t want this date to come to an end, they would have to end it shortly.
“You’ll really let me pet your ears the more we hang out?” Itto asked, a bit surprised that Gorou was so quick to allow something like that to happen. Hearing that their little date will be coming to an end, Itto had to think about what he should do to make sure that he got high marks on their little practice date. “It’s been hours since we were here? Feels more like twenty minutes if you ask me.”
“Yeah, it was mostly crowded and we were mostly observing fishes.” Gorou remarked, making his way towards the exit signs. “The time got away from us.” Gorou added, shoving his hands into his pockets once more. “Tomorrow I’ll teach you on what you should do with Ms. Hina.” Gorou lied, he really didn’t know what he was doing, but he’ll have to think of something. “I wanted to get a feel of how you are adapting to change. And I must admit, I am surprised with how good this spontaneous date was.” Gorou admitted with a smile on his face. It felt much shorter than it actually was, but at least Gorou had a good time.
As they reached the entrance, it felt wrong to simply let this be their last act of the night. Glancing towards a little arcade area for the kids, Itto grabbed Gorou’s hand and made his way towards it. “Hold on, I might not have much, but I do want to at least win you something.” Itto remarked, stopping in front of one of the crane games. “Pick out something that you want and I’ll see if I can win it for you.” Itto had enough confidence in himself that he could get at least something out of the game with enough luck to be able to get a little stuffed animal out of the crane game.
Walking up to the crane game, Gorou looked at the pile of toys that were piled up inside. Wanting to find the easiest thing for Itto to win, Gorou spotted a little dog with a flag and hat on it. “How about the little dog with the flag? Should be easy to hook it with the claw, right?” Gorou suggested, seeing as how everything was either too lumpy or didn’t have a way to hook it.
“Little doggy for ya? Alright, let’s see if I can win it for ya.” Itto remarked, cracking his neck from side to side as he stretched out his fingers. Slipping the two coins into the slot, Itto started to work the claw as best he could to try and get it hooked by the hat. The first attempt was successful, however as the claw made its’ way closer, the doggy fell into a deeper section of the toy pile. Not wanting to give up, Itto used two of the four chances to get the toy to be closer. With only one more chance to get the dog toy, Itto did everything to have the toy land just by the rim of the glass plating. “Dammit, it’s so close.” Itto cursed, feeling like he failed to get the toy.
“Here.” Gorou knelt down to slide two more coins into the slot, allowing Itto the chance to get it. It was better to have Gorou use some of his loose change for Itto to get it instead of having Itto reach his hand up into the machine to try and get the toy. Knowing the oni, that was going to be his next move. “You shouldn’t give up just because you ran out of legal options. So I’m giving you a small nudge in the right direction.” Gorou added, a small smile landing on his face.
Itto smirked, knowing that he can easily get the toy now. Starting the game up again, Itto was able to hook the dog with ease before watching it be lifted into the air and dropped into the slot. As Itto moved to get the toy dog, Gorou took this as a chance to try and get one himself. Moving the crane towards the deeper section of the toy pile, Gorou was able to pull out a purple onikabuto plushie and move it closer to the slot. With the beetle falling at least once, Gorou was able to have the beetle drop into the slot. Kneeling down to pick it up, Gorou was greeted with an impressed expression on Itto’s face.
“Dang, how did you do that? You must be a pro at this!” Itto remarked, smirking as he gave Gorou the little dog toy. “If I was as good as you are, I could snatch up the snacks and toys near the arcade where me and the gang hang out. Then we wouldn’t have to win our snacks from the little kids.” Itto remarked, only to be surprised when Gorou handed him the onikabuto plushie.
“I had a lot of free time on my hand when I was a kid.” Gorou remarked, taking the dog toy into an embrace. “Besides, you did a lot of the hard work when it came to getting this guy. So it was only fair that I get you something else.” Gorou never had a chance to win something for anyone else but him or his siblings. “Besides, a good way to remember this little date, right?”
Itto couldn’t help the grin on his face. “I’ll have to introduce you to the gang some time. I know they’ll like you.” Itto remarked, putting the beetle on top of his head. “Just give me a heads up when you’re coming. I’ll be ready this time for sure.” Itto waved to Gorou, heading towards the exit with his prize in hand. Despite liking the idea of being able to be more involved in Itto’s life, Gorou knew that this was all going to come to an end in six days.
