Chapter Text
Lying in the warmth of her bed, Clara sighs with content as the Master kisses his way down her neck. Legs tangled together, the weight of his body over hers is both comforting and exciting, but she doesn’t feel any particular need to rush. His mouth is pleasantly cool, unhurried as he reaches her clavicle. Her fingers curl into his back, urging him on.
A sudden memory makes her laugh, and she feels him still.
“What’s funny?” he asks.
“Nothing,” she says, stifling her laughter. “It’s just—I knew you were lying.”
Shifting, he raises his head to look at her. “Unsurprising, but when?”
“In that courtyard,” she replies, “long, long time ago. You said Time Lords were above sex.”
He narrows his eyes. “I told you to consider friendship. Didn’t say it was entirely below me.”
“Friendship. Second time we met you shoved your tongue down the Doctor’s throat. Never did that with my mates. Well, almost never.”
The Master props himself over her, smirking. “Are we not friends?”
She raises her eyebrows. “You’re friend-zoning me? Here, like this? Go on, just admit it was a lie. What’s one more tier of depravity?”
He sighs. “Caught me. Well done,” and he leans down to kiss her.
