Chapter Text

"Hop over" "No.."
Bryce was walking away, he not gonna follow that dumba$$ .. Bryce was walking back to his apartment but...

SPLASH!! (LIGHTNING SOUND)

Bryce was surprised of the sound of lightning.. He breathe quickly.. then he realized that his car key was still with Liam..

Bryce was quickly running and hop over the iron fence, and climb up the Bridgeport.. No no.. This can't be.. And the thing he saw is..

Liam body has ground, with the wound that are from electric.. The car key was in his hand..

Bryce was so shock of what he saw.. Bryce was quickly called the ambulance.. He don't care about Liam.. But not this way..

(A/N: DON'T ASK WHY HE CAN USE PHONE WHILE IT RAINING-)

Time skip

Liam has got send to the hospital, he was in ICU room

Bryce was really worried that Liam going to died.. The nurse has walk to him
"n-nurse?! How is he right now?!" Bryce had ask the nurse "sir you need to clam down, he was safe now but there's one thing that happened to him" "we had check now that the lightning was effect his brain, and it make him lose memories" the nurse said

Bryce getting more worried now "i-is he losing all memories?" Bryce ask with worried "don't worry, he only lose some.." Bryce has sigh in relief, he now glad that Liam are not going to lose all memories now "how long he will have to be here?" Bryce ask the nurse "he have to rest here for 3-4 week to recover the injury he got, you can visit him tomorrow" the nurse said "ok, thanks sir" "you're welcome sir.." The nurse has walk in the ICU room

Bryce has get out from the hospital and walk back to his apartment

Time skip
He had make it to his room, he sigh as he tried..

Bryce was lay down on his bed to sleep But he feel so bad right now

He just hope that Liam was gonna be okay..

Bryce has wake up in the morning, he feel tried as always

Bryce decide to visit Liam today

- Time skip -

Bryce has driving to hospital, he open the car door and get out from the car

Bryce has get in hospital

"Hay sir is there anything that I can help you?" "Hey, where is the person name Liam Plecak room was in?" Bryce ask "oh, he's in 426 room on the floor 2" "thanks sir" then Bryce has walk up stairs to go to the floor 2 Bryce open the door and walk in

He saw Liam was on hospital bed still not wake up, Bryce sit in the chair next to Liam

Liam body was look.. Horrible.. The scar from the lightning is so bad, especially on his left eye..

Bryce feeling like.. He don't know what is it, but he feeling so bad like so uneasy but... Why? 

He feel so bad but he doesn't care about Liam doesn't he? But why he feel so uneasy? Bryce didn't realize that he hold Liam hand tightly

Bryce let go of Liam hand, there's no sigh of Liam gonna wake up in any soon time..

Bryce has get up from the chair, he walk out from the room..

- Time skip -B

ryce has walk out from hospital, he feel so really really bad right now..'

Maybe some drinks might help' Bryce thought as get into the car and started it

He has driving away from hospital, to the bar.. Bryce hasn't come here for awhile..

Bryce open the door to get in "hey Bryce! What do you want to order today?" The bartender has ask happiness "well, I want one beer" "oh sure" the bartender said as Bryce pay them, the bartender went to get the drinks and come back with the beer bottle "enjoy dude"

Bryce has start to drink the beer, but it didn't make him feeling better

Maybe only one beer isn't enough... 

Bryce has ask the bartender for another beer, the bartender nodded and went to get a new one

The bartender was returned with a new beer bottle "here you go"

Bryce grab the bottle and take a sip

Bryce feeling little dizzy right now 'maybe I should stop now' Bryce thought, he didn't realize that he just drink the beer for six bottle.. 

Bryce get up from the chair and get out from the bar

Bryce driving away from the bar to go to his apartment

- Time skip - (AGAIN) 

Bryce finally make it to his room, he feeling so dizzy right now.. 

Bryce shut the door behind him and drop the keys on his table

Bryce was feeling like hell, he feeling his stomach was.. 

Bryce has run to the bathroom to.. Vomit..

He wiped his mouth.. Disgusting.. He think he should go to sleep right now.. 

Bryce has go to bed and lay down on it, he shut his eyes to sleep..

Let's just hope tomorrow will be normal as he hope..

Bryce open his eyes, he found himself was in black void

"Where the heck am I?" Bryce said quietly, suddenly he heard the footsteps from behind him Bryce turn around to see who but no one was there..

'What is that?' Bryce thought "show yourself!" Bryce shout but no one respond.. 

"Hey.." Suddenly there's someone behind him, Bryce turn around to see who

That guy was look him but all of their body was white and their eyes was black "who are you?" Bryce ask that mystery bottle

"I.. I am your feeling" "what do you mean by that?" Bryce confuse, who the heck is this bottle? Why did they said they was his feeling?? 

"I mean.. I am your feeling.. Your another self.. Deep inside your feeling.." White bottle has explained "I don't care whoever you are, why in the world you're here?" Bryce has ask with confuse "it was about.. Liam.." White bottle has mentioned about Liam

"It was about many thing that.. you didn't understand about it at all.. " "what do you mean by that?" Bryce ask "well.. It was about how much pain Liam have during that competition.." White bottle said make Bryce feeling bad "you actually didn't understand about how pain he have, didn't you?" Bryce suddenly shout after hear what white bottle said "no! I understand how he feel, that's why I try to stop him from doing it!!" "Really?" White bottle said with smug face "if you really understand him then.. Why did you decide not to being part of that..?" White bottle ask "p-part of what?" "See.. You didn't actually understand how he feel, you don't even know what I talking about.."

"When you two are argument, you just talk like he can move on from it even you know that he stay in competition longer more than you!" "And when he said that he stuck on the plane longer for 7 month, you look.. Shock.." White bottle said with serious tone "I-I just didn't expect he would stuck in that god damn competition that long!" Bryce said back "well if you really care about him, it was your choice now.." "I can't help you about this.. It was up with you.." White bottle said 

And then they was disappeared..

Bryce wake up in the morning, he touch his head.. He feel like he having headache.. 'Ugh.. What's that dream about' he thought 

Ring! Ring! 

the phone was ringing, he pick up the phone "hello?" "Hey Bryce, it's Kylie" "oh hey Kylie" Bryce said "are you gonna came to works today? You didn't came yesterday, I was calling you for many time but you didn't pick up any of my calls!" Bryce after heard what Kylie said he feel like he mad at himself

'God dammit Bryce! You just skipped your works yesterday!' He thought before replied Kylie "sorry Kylie, I forgot my phone at home. I was so busy yesterday!" "I see, I was worried sick! I thought something bad was happened to you!" "See ya on works Bryce" "See ya Kylie" Bryce said as hang up the calls 

Bryce put the hand on his hand "great, back to my god damn works.." Bryce mumbled to himself "maybe I will visit Liam later.. "

- Time Skip -

Bryce has driving to his works stations

He get down and lock the car door. He walk to his works place "hey! Bryce, what's up?" "Hey Kylie" "boss said there's new worker today!" "Wait really?" There's new worker? "Yeah, boss said there's not much worker in here. Make that guys can came to works in here so easy, you might can talk to him when the works is over" "okay thanks. I guess..?" Bryce said

- Time skip - (AGAIN) 

Works is over now, he is going home.. 

He walk to exits but he was bump into someone "hey! Watch where you're going!" Bryce said with anger "oh sorry!! I'm so sorry!" That guys was cyan glow stick, he was male "It's okay, just watch when you're walking next time. Wait.. Are you new worker?" Bryce ask with curious "oh right, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Honlen! And yes, I am new worker here!" He said with happiness

"I see.. I have to go now.." "Okay, see ya!" Honlen said, Bryce has walk out from his work station

He has get in car and start it

- Time skip -

He driving to the hospital, he wonder if Liam are wake up now

Bryce has make to the room Liam was in, Bryce was gently open the door. Yep Liam still not wake up.. Bryce has sit on chair, that bad feeling come back again.. 

He noticed that he was holding Liam hand tightly, he get his hand away from Liam. Why did he care about Liam anyways? He really don't get in.. 

"M-mhm.." Suddenly Bryce heard Liam quite mumble "Liam? Are you awake?" 

"S-soda bottle?"

"S-soda bottle?" Liam spoke as he open his eyes slowly "you're awake!" Bryce said with happiness "soda bottle is that you?" "My name is Bryce" Bryce said as realize that the lightning incident actually effect Liam brain "how are your feeling?" "I don't know, I just can't open my right eye.." Bryce after heard that make him feel little guilty for some reason 

"Hey Liam, I'm so sorry that I make you end up like this. I should follow you in that time" Bryce apologize "no no I should be the one who are sorry, I was the one who make the mistake" Liam said 

"Hey Liam, can I have the laptop..?" Bryce ask "huh..? Oh you mean Texty? Yeah sure" Liam said as get laptop from him and give it to Bryce "thanks.. And take care yourself, Liam" "you too" Bryce has walk out from the room

- Time skip -

Bryce has make to his apartment, he closed the door

He sit on the bed, he wonder if he can bring Texty back. He decide to restart it

He click the button to restart the laptop, he wait for like 2 minutes

The laptop has open again 

> Liam? Bryce? Are you there? 

Texty type, yes yes! Texty is back!! 

"Texty you're back!" Bryce said with happiness

> hey Bryce, now what did I miss? 

> where's Liam btw? 

"Well.." "Sigh.. I think I would has hard time to explain this but.. He was at hospital.." Bryce said with sad tone

> what? What happened during while I was gone? 

"The thing happened after we argument.. When he was got up to the Bridgeport, I was decide not to follow him but that's where everything went wrong.." Bryce take a deep breath before continued explain "the lightning was down to him, it effect his brain. He was still called me 'Soda bottle' when he wake up today"

> welp

> that's would explain why the laptop was died

"Yeah, he need to rest at the hospital for 4 week or more, so his wound can recover from the damage of the lightning" Bryce said

Suddenly Bryce start to coughing violently and it getting worse

> ayo Bryce

> buddy are you okay? 

> the coughing are sound so painful

Bryce was going to say something but the coughing interrupt him

Bryce quickly run into the bathroom and.. 

He vomit.. Again.. 

But this is worse more than last time, this time he vomit with.. Blood.. 

Bryce look at the blood in the sink with shock 

What the heck is happened to him? Is he getting poisoned? Is it because the alcohol he drink yesterday? Is it because of-

Bryce stop thinking, he don't want his mind to blow cuz he think too much

'Maybe I should go to sleep'  he thought as he wiped his mouth

Bryce has walk out from the bathroom, the sound of text to speeches was from laptop being in to said 

> Bryce? Are you okay? 

> what happened? 

"Nothing Texty, I just vomit" Bryce said with tried voice

> ew that's sound disgusting

"I know Texty but I gotta go to sleep now" 

> okay, goodnight Bryce

"Goodnight Texty" Bryce said as he close the laptop, then he use the charger to charge the laptop

'This day was long enough' Bryce was go to bed to sleep

He know tomorrow would be the same.. 

He closed his eyes as he sleep..

Few week had pass now but Liam didn't get any better yet, Bryce still visit Liam everyday on the hospital to see if he get any better

Now Bryce give a laptop to Liam, so he can talk with him during the chat. 

Ring! Ring! 

his phone was ringing, he pick it up "hello?" "Oh hey Bryce" it was Kylie "today our work station get closed again" "wait.. Again?" "Yeah someone turn the fridge on whole night" 'god damn it.. Not again' Bryce thought with anger feeling "do you have a cover?" "Yeah" "ok thanks Kylie, see ya" "see ya!" Bryce hang up the calls

Let's hope nothing bad happened.. 

At least he having more time to go visit Liam now.. 

- Time Skip -

Bryce has driving to the hospital, he get off the car and lock it

He walking through footpath, he are so close to the hospital now.. 

But suddenly.. 

He wasn't on the footpath and close to the hospital anymore... 

He was on the PLANE

"Rejoined will rejoining in 3.. 2.. 1.." Suddenly when Airy finish counting, the soda bottle has appeared in front of every contestant on the plane

"SODA BOTTLE!!" Scenty has run toward to Bryce who are shock after what happened

"What? Why am I here?" Bryce mumble to himself "you're the rejoined.. I just want to make it.. More interesting.." The monotone voice said "no.. I don't want to be here Airy!! Just teleport me back!" But no one respond.. Bryce has enough of Airy "Airy?! Don't you hear what I said?! I DON'T want to be here!! Don't you realize that how much suffering you course people here?!! DON'T you realize you TORTURE a lot of innocent people?!! I NEED to go back! BECAUSE LIAM MIGHT BE IN DANGER RIGHT NOW!!" Bryce he has snap.. Snap all his feeling out.. The feeling that how much he has traumatized of this god damn competition.. But still, no one respond

Everyone was confused and quite shock after what happened especially Scenty, she glad that Bryce snap at Airy but she confused with the final word when he snap 'LIAM MIGHT BE IN DANGER NOW' she wonder who is Liam, she go sit next to Bryce. Everyone did as well "Soda Bottle-" "Bryce.. It's Bryce" Bryce said, he doesn't want to getting called by that fake name anymore "Bryce, I glad that you snap at him but.. What do you mean by that final word..?" "What word?" "When you said 'Liam might be in danger' who is Liam?" Amelia ask with confuse "sign.. You remember Backpack right?" "Y-yeah.." "Well.. His name is Liam, and he was in hospital right now-" Bryce get cut off by Scenty who was shout after hear what he said "HE WAS IN HOSPITAL?! WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU TWO GET BACK?!" Scenty was shout at panic 

"Well long story to short. Liam was trying to stop Airy and he goes to the bridgeport, I trying to stop him but failed. He get lightning because my car keys are still with him" Bryce explains "and he survived?" Bryce nod to Moldy as an answer "woah that's crazy" "oh my god.. That's a lot.." Scenty said as still quite shock "I know right.."

"But if we up for the elimination, I'm pretty sure the viewers will vote you out. Because you just snap at Airy" Scenty said "no.. Scenty. I don't think it would happened" "w-what do you mean?" Scenty ask with confuse 

"When Stone was getting eliminated, he left us the massage. It said 'There's no viewer We have no control' Me and Liam are the only two people who saw it.." "Wait.. So that's mean there's no.. Viewer..?" Scenty said as quite shock "that's what I trying to say.." Bryce said with little anger "So that's mean.. He are on who will choose who was going to eliminated.. And he still keeping me here..? And all time I was hoping them to vote was actually a hopeless..?" "Ugh.. I knew it.. That asshole must liar to us about something.." Moldy said with anger

"But let's not doing the challenge, then we'll be fine Scenty-" Bryce paused cause he realized that he didn't called her real name "Scenty what's your real name..? I mean your name before you getting here..?" Bryce ask Scenty "I.. Uh.. I don't remember it as much.." "That's kinda okay.. But we are not gonna do the challenge.. Ok Scenty?" Bryce said "okay.. I guess, Bryce.." Scenty said

They hope that Airy gonna eliminated one of them if they up for elimination
