"What?" I asked her with annoyance evident in my voice and expression. She just smiled to me and then as always, she confessed to me. I scowled when I saw the look on her face. Why can she just give up?

"Yoongi, I love you," she said while smiling at me. I rolled my eyes and walked to her. She just stood there with a stupid smile on her face. Once I'm already in front of her, I bend down so I can be eye to eye with her.

"But I don't," I said coldly then walk away.

Y/N's POV

"But I don't," he said coldly then walk away. I looked at his back with a sad smile, but I shook my head to not think too much about what he said. Then I ran toward him so I can go to school with him. He acted cold toward me, but he never really bothered by my company because whenever I walked beside him, he never complains about it maybe because he doesn't care too much about it.

When we got to the school gate, we saw Gayeon walking with her boyfriend. Gayeon is Yoongi's ex. She's linking her arm with her new boyfriend. Both joked around and laughed together. Then I saw her kissing her boyfriend's cheek. I turned my head and looked at Yoongi. He looked pissed as hell.

"Tch," Yoongi got annoyed at the sight of Gayeon and her boyfriend being lovey-dovey because that guy is the reason why Yoongi and Gayeon broke up. I looked down, deep in thought. I wasn't pay attention to my surrounding and that's when I suddenly bump into someone. I almost fall but Yoongi catches me by wrapping his arm around my waist. I looked up and widened my eyes. Then I immediately stood up straight and apologize to the person I bumped. Then I looked at Yoongi and thank him. Yoongi looked at me and clicked his tongue.

"Stupid," he said as he looked away. Despite his harsh words, I still smile because I know that he's not a bad person.

We went to our locker to change our shoes. I opened my locker and took off my shoes and change it into my school shoes. After that, I looked at Yoongi and he's already leaving me, so I ran after him. But then we had to separate ways since I am a second year while Yoongi is a third year.

"Bye Yoongi. See you later," I said with a smile. He didn't turn his back so I was about to give up and went inside my class but before I could do that, I hear Yoongi's voice say, "Bye," In a small voice. I smiled and about to jump in excitement. The bell for class is ringing and the teacher get inside my class.

“Good morning, everyone. I am your homeroom teacher. My name is Kim Seokjin. I hope we get along and please don’t make any trouble. Well, shall we start our lesson?” said Mr. Kim. All the students groaned except for me because I keep smiling because I keep thinking about what happened just now.

Yoongi's POV

I was bored to hell since the lesson started. I wish I can just sleep. I want to go home now argh... My thought was interrupted when I heard the bell rang twice. Finally, lunch time is here. Now I can get outta this bored classroom. The teacher ended the lesson and went out. I immediately stood up to go to the cafeteria. When I was walking to the cafeteria, I saw Gayeon with her boyfriend.

'Tch why are you everywhere, Gayeon? Can you fuck off? Damn it, just get out of my mind, bitch,' I thought to myself when suddenly I heard a girl's voice that should made me feel annoyed but for some reason, this time that voice calm myself. I turned around and saw her running and waving her hand.

"Yoongi," she said cheerfully with an idiotic smile on her face. For some reason, she looks annoying, annoyingly cute.

"What?" I said coldly like always. It feels weird, just a moment ago I felt annoyed and now just by seeing this annoying girl, my mood changed from annoyed to normal again. Maybe because this girl is more annoying, so she neutralized my emotion.

"Yoongi, can you please be nicer to me?" She pouted. Cute, I thought but my face stays expressionless.

"No," I said then walk again and she followed behind me like a lost puppy. I never like her but for some reason her presence doesn't really bother me. That's why I never really care if she follows me or something but that's only apply when she doesn't confess her love for me. We were walking side by side when suddenly Gayeon walked toward us.

"Oh, hi Yoongi. Is this your new girlfriend?" Gayeon looked at Y/N up and down. Then she scoffed.

"There is no way, right? I mean she is not your type haha and she's ugly unlike me. Definitely not your type. And I know you still love me, Yoongi," Gayeon said smugly. She was smirking and I want to smack her face so bad when I saw her smirk. I never knew this ex of mine can be such a bitch and how can I love someone like her before? Maybe it's true that love is blind. I looked at Y/N and she tilted her head. Then I decided to lie to Gayeon.

"Yes, she is my new girlfriend. I think she's more beautiful than you as well," I said, smirking. Gayeon gasped and looked surprise. Y/N looked surprise too because her eyes became wider than usual.

"W-what?" She looked bewildered by what I said. Her expression making me smirk even more. I pulled Y/N's shoulder and held her close.

"Why you look so confused, Gayeon? Never think that I will move on so fast from you?" I said, mocking her.

"There is no way you have a new girlfriend. I know you still love me," Gayeon insisted. Her face turned red because she was embarrassed. Ha. Eat that, bish.

"And yet I have a girlfriend now. I don't love you anymore. I already moved on from you," I said but deep in my heart I know that I still have feelings for her. Gayeon looked so mad but then she regained her composure.

"Then why don't we have a double date this Saturday. Let's go to the amusement park together," she said as she smirks again. Seriously, she looks more annoying than Y/N. Okay, I'll take back my words about still loving her. Yes, I do have feelings for her. A feeling of hatred though not love.

"Sure. No problem for me. It's just a date, what can go wrong about it, right?" I said smugly as I walk away with Y/N still in my arm. She stayed quiet and didn't say anything for a few minutes. When we're already far away from Gayeon, she broke the silence between us.

"Why you said that I'm your girlfriend?" She asked me. I looked down and look into her eyes that already look at me.

"Because I don't want her to think that I still love her, and I don't like the way she said it. It's like she is mocking me for still loving her. I look pathetic if I didn't do anything," I said calmly and still holding her. For some reason, it feels right to hold her like this.

"But you still love her, right? You do, aren't you?" She asked and I stayed quiet for a few seconds. But then I shook my head.

"No, I don't. If you ask me before then yes, I still love her but now? No, I don't love her. Maybe but she's such a bitch and I hate that kind of person. I wonder why I love her in the first place before?" I spoke. Y/N chuckled after what I said.

"So, are you already moving on now?" She asked me with a smile.

"Hmm I don't think it's that simple. I might say I don't love her but who knows what my heart says? I don't even know so I'm not completely sure if I already move on or not," I said with a sigh because this is all can get so confusing sometimes.

"But still why we have to pretend to be dating?" She asked again. I stopped in my track, and she stopped as well since I still have my arm around her.

"I already told you just now that I don't want to look pathetic in front of that bitch. Because if I said I don't have a girlfriend then she will think I'm still in love with her even though that might or might not be true but still it's annoying if she thinks like that. I bet she would look down on me if she knew I don't have a girlfriend or maybe she will seduce me and make me fall in love again with her just to hurt me. Tch, just thinking about it make me angry."

She pats my back to try calming me. "Relax, Yoon. Let's just go eat for now," she said with a smile on her face. I relaxed at her touch and nodded. Then we went to the cafeteria to eat.
