Work Text:
Robby could hardly take it anymore, living at Cobra Kai. Hell being in Cobra Kai. He couldn’t stand the constant abuse that none of the other students really seemed to notice. He hated living in constant fear of Kreese and Silver. He hated being trapped in the backroom every night. He especially hated how quiet everything got at night.
So damn quiet that he couldn’t stand it. He let loose and yelled, screamed to the ceiling, through to the sky. To whatever God or gods or other supernatural power that existed on earth. Anyone and anything that might be able to save him from his torment.
Little did Robby know that someone was listening in, just not someone who would help him.
Terry Silver had installed a camera, multiple cameras actually, in the backroom of Cobra Kai so that he could see the fruit of the torment that he and his partner put Robby through. He was relaxing in front of the fireplace in his home, when he heard the muffled screams of the teen.
He listened to the feed from the camera. Robby screamed for quite some time. It was likely that the boy would have no voice left tomorrow. Sometimes the screams were words, “Please, God, let me out! I’ll do anything!” and other things similar to that. Other times, the screams were simply animalistic cries of pain and fear.
And Silver simply sat there and listened to the muffled screams of the tormented boy. For hours on end. Until eventually, Robby’s voice died, and the teen fell into a fitful sleep. After that, Silver himself went to bed, content with the chaos that he had caused in the young man’s mind.
