'Shit, fuck, son of a bitch, if I have to get Alex to bail me out again they're going to make so much fun of me.' is about what Morgan was thinking when Ohio stepped out of the shadows of the dragon, barn, thing he was currently trying to sneak into. "Heyyyyyyyy Ohio, how've you been buddyyyy?" Morgan said in a failed attempt to act casual.
"Morgan, I swear to Odin, this is the fifth time this week." Ohio said, exasperated.
"Oh come on, can you really blame me? They're dragons. Honestly, if something's that cool you should just let me steal it."
"Really? Should I now?" Ohio said sarcastically. "Come on, please don't make this difficult I've got dinner with Barnaby in like ten minutes."
"What? I would never!" Morgan made a dash for it and immediately tripped on a rock, fell, and was restrained by a laughing Ohio. "Oh shut up asshole."
"I'll shut up if you stop trying to steal people's dragons." He said and hoisted the now very tied up, very squirmy Morgan over his shoulder.
"Put. Me. Down. You son of a bitch!" Was screamed along with many other things along the way to the holding cell.
"You know, It would probably make everyone's lives easier if you just stopped trying to steal stuff." Ohio said as he put Morgon in the cell and locked it.
"Ah yes, and you've never stolen anything." They replied with a snort.
"Shhhhhh! That was one time and it was for a good cause." He said in a hushed voice while he searched Morgan.
"Pfft, because that makes it s much better."
"It does, actually, now I'm going to go and have a lovely dinner with Barnaby, have fun trying to escape or whatever." Ohio said and left.
Morgan groaned, they really didn't want to call Alex but it was starting to look like there wasn't any other way out. He decided that if he hadn't figured another way out soonish he'd call Alex. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to work with, the only sharp thing they had theft on them was the very fragile crystal Alex had (Painlessly) embedded into their palm. It blended into his skin, which is why Ohio hadn't taken it, and he could get it out with some digging, but again, it was breakable, and if it broke Alex would immediately know where they were, and while that is what it was for, that's not exactly what they wanted. So back to the figurative drawing board. It went on like this for like, two hours of him just sitting and thinking till, out of sheer boredom, they finally gave up and broke the crystal.
Alex was in front of them almost immediately with a neutral expression that quickly shifted into an amused one once they figured out what was going on.
"Don't. Say. A word about this, please just get me out of here." Morgan said.
"Is this why you were late for our date? Trying to ride in on a dragon?" Alex said, completely ignoring them.
"Wait, late? Did I seriously take that long?"
"Yup, not too late, but definitely late."
"Shit, sorry..." Morgon started genuinely apologizing, then grinned to himself. "I was a bit tied up."
