"You've been cooking, pouring, and blending behind the counter at the Crashdown since you could walk, and you're a mind-bashingly brilliant biomedical engineer... so how is it, that you keep passing the buck when it comes to grilling?” Kyle sipped his beer, monitoring the steak on the grill.
“…all of those things are true, but I don’t remember ordering my filet with a side of judgment, Kyle.” Liz huffed. “Baking, drink-making, anything in an oven, that’s all science. Grilling over coals is… vibes.”
“’Vibes’. That a technical term? Maybe from your thesis?” He cocked his head.
“Just cook, Dr Valenti.”
