To some people it might be so sweet that it’s overwhelming
But I like the kick
The acidity burns away any bitter flavor that was there before
And all I can taste is the sharp sweetness
A few times the chemicals have been too much to handle and I’ve lost my head
But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the excitement
I think you do me more good than harm
You motivate and encourage me
You wake me up and energize me
You’re a warm glowing feeling in my chest
And a rush of blood to my head
And sometimes I need you to get through the day
