Chapter Text
Time was slowly ticking down.
Outside the window, a few drops of rain could be smelled. The sky was dark gray and cloudy today.
The sound of pens being used to write against the white sheet of paper, everyone was quickening their paste, for now tomorrow was the weekend. And it was nearly dismissal.
As Agni finished writing his answers and rests his arm peacefully, letting go of his pen and putting it aside, the bell rang in sync. He was pretty thankful catching up on time.
"Alright class, pass your papers now" the teacher strictly said, as many students groaned and complained, but still was able to do the teachers orders. Chairs scratching the ground and desks being moved could be heard everywhere.
And everyone finishes passing the paper, the teacher then let's out another word from their mouth "as you may know, at Tuesday we will have another class, make sure to advance study, for we will be having another lesson, it's on page 340. But most importantly, get some great rest" the teacher said, smiling and dismissing everyone in the room.
"Hey Agni, you coming over to my place?" Deva, who sat Infront of Agni, and turned her head asking, offering the man if he wants to hang out with her and the others, in reply he shook his head
"Nah.. I wanna go home already, I'm feeling tired from all that quiz" the man complains scratching his head.
"Eh it's whatever, I'm gonna hang out with Ami and geo later, have fun... Resting?" Deva says indicating sarcastically at the last part. She proceeds to grab her things and bags exiting the class, and gave him one last wave.
...
Agni went out of the classroom, after putting all his things in the bag, quickly seeing savien behind him.
"..savien?" He asked out loud
The plum haired man turns his head around, curious whom the familiar sounding person called his name. And after seeing Agni, he lets out a small smile
"Oh Agni hey, did you get dismissed a few seconds ago?" Savien asked walking closer to him
"Nah, more like 5 minutes ago, I was busy packing all my stuff" he responded to savien's question.
Agni and Savien didn't share the same classroom, but they were still really close, probably more than close even.
"What did the teacher in your class talk about?" Agni butts in wanting to know the new lesson was gonna be for them
"Ours? Eh it was just the same, nothing new yet" savien shrugs it off, and Agni just nodded.
Both of them walked down the halls, talking and cracking a few jokes, as they exit the building
Until Agni realized a few drops of water dripped on his head.
"Ah shit.. uh I didn't bring an umbrella." Agni disappointingly says.
Savien looks at the man in worry and goes through his bag finding his umbrella, luckily for him, it was there.
"Here" savien opens the umbrella and Agni enters in it, protecting his whole body, shielding himself from getting all wet from the small rain.
"The rain isn't that heavy but, this will still come in handy, lets go to your house so we can dry up" savien says looking at Agni for permission, and Agni thought about it.
"Unless.. you wanna come to mine?" Savien adds in teasingly. Slightly raising his brow, for approval.
Agni's hair suddenly ignites, and he blushes deeply red. "Shut up, wizard." Agni puts his hand on savien's face pushing him away not too hard, but softly in a joking way, while savien laughs it out.
And Agni's mouth starts forming into a soft smile, looking and admiring him laugh.
"So.. what is it?" Savien says again Agni let's his hand go of savien's face and spoke out "..well, I haven't been in your house before, but it's not like I'm curious, it's just uh.. pretty unusual" savien stares at the man in confusion
"What's unusual?" Savien said genuinely, titling his head "well, not tryna be rude but, I've been through like all of my friends houses, but not yours, I.. I don't know" Agni shrugs it off.
And an uncomfortable silence starts to form.
Agni was a bit scared he said something wrong to him, and looks deeply into savien's expression, which was currently blank.
"I really don't mind if you wanna go to my house. I practically live alone there" savien breaks the silence and finally said something. The tint of his voice sounded like he hesitated and flustered. Dropping out the cocky voice he always had.
"Soooooo... We can go there..?" Agni asks one more confirmation to the man, and savien lets out a huff "yeah.. like I said I really don't mind"
"... So it's fine if we visit like.. right now..?" Agni says with surprise on his face. "Of course." Savien smiles a little again at Agni
"Alright, lead the way then!" Agni exclaims

Their foot steps slowly start to sound like stepping on puddles, as the rain start to become a bit strong, and the wind becomes slowly strong too.
While walking, they didn't realize they were pretty much in a comfortable silence, Agni slowly realized how far savien's house was to his and and the college school.
"Your house is pretty far away from college.. huh" Agni said noticing it.
"Yeah, that college was the only option I had left.. well more of my families only option." Savien responds to the curious red head.
"Only...option?" Agni was a bit confused, what did he mean by that?
"You see. My family is pretty cheap.. well more of my parents. They provided me alot of things, but college is well known to be a hell ride of being expensive. But that college isn't expensive, so it was just you know.. the only option" savien answers Agni again, the blow of the wind sent shivers down both of their spines.
The rain starts to become more light, but the coldness in the air was still there.
It was so cold, none of them even brought at least a jacket.
As hard as the wind blew, savien's grip on the umbrella made it sent flying a little further from them.
Savien let out a yelp and shock at how strong the wind was, and how dumb he was for not gripping the umbrella harder.
The man hastily ran towards the umbrella, trying to catch it, a few slips from the water.
But that didn't stop him from chasing it down.
Agni tried to walk much more faster gaining up on savien's speed. But like what he said before, he was way to tired to do all of this.
Now both of them were a bit soaked from the water, and they have a chance of getting a cold after this, it took them a REALLY long time chasing that damn umbrella now, and Agni got tired, same goes for savien but he had enough stamina.
As Agni finally got to savien's speed. He couldn't think straight and thought of grabbing savien's hand, causing him to stop his tracks and stop chasing down the umbrella.
"S...savien!" Agni let's out a huff and trying his best to catch his breath "it's fine dude.. let's just run to your home.. we..were getting closer right?" Agni tried to comfort savien, technically. That was a way to just so he could accept in his defeat from chasing some umbrella down.
"Yeah.. you're right. We are almost there. And the rain is more light in this place.. I guess it'll be fine" Savien was also catching his breath, replying to Agni slowly.
As they both calmed down and finally catched their breaths, Agni realizes his hand was still on savien's hand, and he quickly yanks it off in embarrassment.
"Why'd you take it off?" Savien said teasing the boy, like he missed it.
"..wh..what?!" Agni said in shock, blushing and his hair starts to ignite again, but it was also getting wet, letting out small smokes cause of the rain.
Savien let's a chuckle escape from his mouth, practically laughing at Agni's current manner, liking the way he teased him.
"I mean, if you wanna hold hands it's.. it's uh fine!" Agni reassures him and quickly held it.
Now it was savien's turn to blush, not really knowing this was the action he'd get after.
The feeling of the hand being held together was the only thing they could feel warmth for now
But Agni's hand was way more warmer than savien.

They were both just holding their hands as they walked towards the quiet and raining street.
It wasn't quiet since they were both just talking a bit. Just like many, many minutes ago, they cracked a bunch of jokes to where they both started to push eachother's shoulders(Agni started it), not in a harmful way but in a jokingly way.
The more they grew closer, the more they forget about both of them holding their hands.
Savien looks to his surroundings, finally seeing his house and he pointed it out for Agni "my house is over there. That means we're almost close." He calmly said.
" let's hurry then! Im not gonna spend my last minute on earth dying from the rain!" Agni says smiling and pulling savien to where the violet haired man's house was.
Both of them run in a beat of a rhythm, while stepping and pace at the puddle the rain made. It was such a harmonic and beautiful moment. It felt like time stopped, the droplets just slowly moving, and the only thing both of them were focusing wasn't the fact that it was raining, but just the two of them. Together.
both of their gazes softened by just looking at eachother.
They both ran towards the house, laughing and giggling like little children, playing around.
As they both reached the house, savien quickly opens it, and the sound of the door creaks open. He opens the light switch next to him, revealing a small apartment like home.
A comfortable and nostalgic scent could be smelled all over the room as soon as they set a foot from the place. The living room was close to the door and they both walked in, savien took off his shoes, and Agni copied his movement and took off his shoes.
"You can set your bag there. I'll get ready for some drinks.. anything you want?" Savien walks over to the couch, setting down his bag and goes towards the small kitchen.
"Oh.. maybe something hot? Like coffee I guess" Agni answers his question, and savien silently nods.
Savien goes to his stach of powdered food stuff, finding a box full of coffee, and putting the single pack in the cup, he then grabs a tea kettle, filling water inside of it and placing it on the stove, waiting for it to heat up.
As he does this, he glanced at Agni, who was sitting down scrolling towards his phone quietly. His facial expression looked like he felt a bit groggy, and tired from walking and chasing down an umbrella.
As the tea kettle quickly started making noises, savien rushed over and turned off the heat, pouring the hot steaming water in the cup.
Savien grabbed the handle of the cup, walking over to the living room, and putting it down to the table next to Agni carefully.
"Thanks man" Agni held the handle of the cup and drinks from it. As he takes a sip, tasting and savouring the delight of it.
"If you need anything, I'll be taking a shower for a bit, you can knock on the door if you wanna ask some questions on something." Savien tells Agni and he just nodded in response.
".. don't take pictures while I'm at the bathroom too" savien joked, knowing the man's dirty secret. Well not really secret but, some people knew about it, including his friends
"W-what! I'm not gonna do that.." Agni defends himself in the situation, stuttering and a bit mad.

As savien finishes taking a hot warm bath, dressing up quickly and damps his hair with a towel. Removing any traces of the water in it. His hair came out all messy but he didn't bother. And He walks out of the bathroom
"Hey Agni, you wanna take a shower ? You did get soaked in the rain" savien loudly said, with a slight of worry in his voice.
"But, I didn't really bring any clothes?" Agni says in response, "don't worry, I'll lend you some" savien reassures him.
"Oh, sweet, by the way savien, do you mind if I stay here for a bit?" Agni asked
"Certainly, I don't mind." Savien says and walked towards his room. Footsteps going up the stairs could be heard by him.
He enters his room, he puts down his towel, leaving it hanging by the chair, and goes to his closet finding clothes Agni could wear
He quickly found some and went back down stairs, he could see Agni already waiting
"Thanks for letting me stay in" Agni says taking the clothes from savien away.
"It's no problem." Savien smiled, and Agni enters the bathroom, locking the door Infront of him
"Oh and by the way, there's an extra towel inside, so you won't have a problem drying up" savien told him "oh okay, thanks man!"

Savien was in his room, strumming his guitar, trying to get his beat perfect everytime he plays it.
He grips his guitar gently, and his fingers starts to hurt, but he shrugged it off. The pain starts to sting, but he continued enjoying playing the guitar.
He suddenly hears a knock on his door, he gently puts down his guitar, "Agni? Is that you? You can come in." Savien says
The door creaks open and he was faced with a familiar boy "I'm uh, done taking a shower" Agni says outside of the door, peeking his head through the room.
He motions his legs to walk inside, and savien saw Agni wearing his clothes. Agni slowly closes the door and glances around savien's room. It pretty tidy and cozy, but a bit bland.
"You can sit next to me." Savien pat's the bed, asking him to sit next to him. Agni sits down comfortably, the red headed boy looks at savien, seeing him take his guitar and slowly playing it.
"You play the guitar?" Agni asked, amazed.
"Yes.. it's a personal hobby of mine" savien smiles, looking at the guitar, Agni gazes at the man Admiringly, look down to his hands seeing some blood come out, "holy shit" Agni blurts out.
"Is there something wrong?" Savien says, startled by Agni cursing. "Uh yeah.. your fingers a bleeding like hell"
Savien looks down to his fingers seeing it bleed a little, and he sighs, realizing why his fingers sting now "it's fine.. it's not that much anyways" he said
"No, it's not fine.. you need to take a break from that guitar dude.." Agni scolds, savien, snatching the guitar out of his hands
"What're you doing? Give it back." Savien said a little mad "I ain't givin it back till your fingers recover, you're basically just gonna torture yourself" Agni holds savien's guitar dearly to his chest.
"Oh wait! I've got an idea" Agni puts down the guitar close to him on the bed, moving it aside
And he grabs savien's hand, causing him to startle and wince a little at the pain, "I learned this healing thing from Ami!" He said enthusiastically and proud
Agni slowly shuts his eyes concentrating with his magic, his hair slowly ignites, savien calmly watches him longingly.
He then looks at his fingers, that were slowly healing and patching itself.
Agni slowly opens his eyes and looks at savien's fingers, cheering himself in his success "yes! It worked!" Agni celebrated, throwing hands in the air "is.. this your actual first time using this?" Savien chuckles a little, admiring Agni's adorable act (in his view)
"Yeah! And I can't believe it really did work!" Agni says still happy "I must say, that spell comes quite in handy, but could you deal with a more bigger wound?" Savien praises him and asked him a question.
"Uhhh.. Ami said I should start off a little for the moment, I haven't really mastered this, and neither did Ami" Agni's smile falters.
"I see... Can I continue playing my guitar then?" Savien said "huh? Oh yeah" Agni hands his guitar over.
