"Xiao that's enough, you've been working non-stop!"
"It's gonna be fine, Aether. I got it handled."
The latter just sighed, this is the fifth time he tried convincing him to stop yet the green steel haired didn't even listen, not one bit.
Welp time for Plan B then, there's only one weakness he could ever get and everyone knows about this.
He stepped out of his room and dialed a number, it did took a few minutes for the receiver to answered it.
"Hello? Aether? Why the sudden call?"
A certain soft and angelic voice was heard, then the blonde continued, "Lumine, I need you here, now." The blonde addressed the other person as 'Lumine'.
"Eh? Why? Im currently doing something"
"Is it important?" The blonde retorded back. The person who is named, Lumine, sighed quietly.
"Not really, but–"
"Okay then, come here quick, I'll send the address right away."
Then Aether hanged up before the other person could even fight back.
Just like he said, he did send the address into their message and waited for the girl to get there.
He once again sighed and hope that his friend, Xiao, would stop what he's doing when Lumine finally convinced him.
It took 15 minutes for the girl to finally reached her destination, she got off the taxi and went closer to the door to knock.
She won't lie, it seems like she already took this kind of pace somewhere but she couldn't get it where or how, but she was familiar with the street, even with the house decor.
She knocked on the door and waited patiently until she saw another blonde opened the door for her which is exactly her brother, Aether.
She mutters a small, 'Sorry for the intrusion..' with her breath before coming in, yeah, the patterns were quite familiar with her.
She spoke with a calm tone, "So why am I here?"
"You do realize where you are right now, right?"
"No, I have no time to think when you suddenly demand me to come here right away." She ended her sentence with a slight cold on her tone.
Aether frowned, "Jeez.. No need to be so stingy... Anyways, let's cut to the chase."
Aether cleared his throat, Lumine kind of viewed it a little dramatic but she fight herself on calling him out.
"You're here right now in Xiao's house—"
"XIAO'S HOUSE!?!?!?"
The blonde had a light crimson blush appeared on her face with her eyes widened. Still comprehending that she's IN Xiao's household.
Good thing the latter covered his ears, Lumine was quite the loud person when she scream.
Aether sighed once again, "Yeah, like I said, you're in Xiao's house. Moving along- I want you to stop overworking himself, he'd been locking himself in his room for a couple of days now."
Then, Lumine's face softened, she have a soft spot for Xiao, that's why she fallen in love unknowingly for her.
The firefly mumbled but enough to hear by her brother, "Xiao.. had been overworking..? About what..?"
The other blonde continued, "That's what im also pondering, considering himself, it must be an important thing for him"
That's right, Xiao was one of a determined person, he'll try and try until he succeed on small things, Lumine don't know Xiao very much but they do sometimes exchange chats, that's why, in her defense, they knew each other more than his other peers.
Lumine was pumped with determination, "Alright, I'll convince him, he do also need to rest, he's also a human after all!" She smiled warmly with also a great determination, her brother also gave her a warm smile before going to the door and bid his goodbye.
Now all she need to do is convince him, she walked towards the stairs and good thing she knew where his room was, considering she also went here before, her memory was a bit foggy.
Finally, she was in front of his door, she took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
No response.
She knocked again.
Still no response.
I guess he was very busy after all.
She sighed, But there's no backing out now! , she thought. She tried opening his door and she was shocked that it was unlocked.
Stupid Xiao...
Lumine walked inside and saw her very dear, Xiao, his room was a mess, cluttered papers all over to the side, piled up files on to his desk and she saw how hard he was focusing on to his laptop, hands on to his temple and cursing something out of his breath.
She was sorry for him, she also didn't knew what to do, she didn't experienced any kind of this statement and afraid to say something that will hurt the one she love.
But that didn't stop her, mostly her instinct and guts, it was telling her something she was also afraid of doing.
But Lumine had no choice, she clenched her fist and loosen up a few seconds later.
She quietly walked towards the latter, but the boy was too busy to notice.
Lumine took a deep breath once again and let her arm wrapped around the boy's neck which startled the green steel.
He was in awe that he can't even move his head behind, but the scent coming from the girl made him even more relaxed, he probably recognized who it was.
Then,
The firefly hummed a lullaby, it was kind of lullaby that their parents used to sang to the twins when they were young.
The latter was once again relaxed, he leaned closer until he get a full view of a blonde hair, crystal amber eyes narrowing him, a small light blush on her face and the most important thing that melt his heart, her sweet smile and her lovely voice.
A small blush also crept to his face, he was about to doze off but he fight back, he wanted to hear her singing, it was a music to his ears.
He let out a small smile and he let himself relaxed once again.
Xiao grabbed her hand and held it tightly but not so tight that can leave a mark, it was tight as like he won't let her go, not wanting her to leave by his side.
The two stayed like that for the next couple of minutes. Neither of them said a word, the atmosphere wasn't awkward, instead, it was sweet and calm, something they both like.
The two really enjoyed each other's company, really, the both of them finally realized their feelings to each other and confessed.
The way they confessed, of course, where Lumine hugged him and Xiao held her hand. It was that kind of sign they need, no words were spoken, only body language.
