Angel Todd, formerly Wayne got Mia into bed, Mia was the last child still living in the Todd home. Jade was away temporarily at college, Faith was in Philidelphia attending school. Choosing to live there with her adopted aunt after her traumatic encounter with the Joker in Gotham.
After Mia was in bed asleep, Angel went down to her basement which doubles as her Batcave. Jason was away on a mission with the Outlaws until tomorrow afternoon. Angel loaded up her computer, seeing that there was a new alert.
"What's this?" Angel asked clicking the alert, "crime alert: Adam Bailey has been involved in numerous crimes including bank and Car robberies. A petty criminal, he is only a 2-5-star threat.
"Let me see what he looks like.." Angel said to herself, pausing when she saw his face. She recognized the eyes how could she forget? Those are the eyes she saw that fateful night, the man who hit her mom's car the reason Amy, her mother was now dead.
"Batcomputer, pull up all known information on Adam Bailey," Angel asked her computer.
"Here you are Mrs. Todd all known information on Adam Bailey." The monitor said back as all his information appeared on the screen.
Angel scanned the pages with her eyes, searching for the main address or anything she can use to identify where Adam would be. "Computer, search all home addresses for Adam Bailey," Angel asked.
"Here are all known residential addresses for Adam Bailey." The computer answered.
Angel narrowed the list of 15 addresses to addresses within the past 2 years. Bringing the list from 15 to 5. "All 5 of these are in Gotham. He wasn't born here, but lived here with his family since he was 12." Angel said to herself, reconfirming all the information.
Angel thought about how to handle this, she knew she couldn't tell her dad, or he'd just lock him up, she thought of calling Jason, or maybe even Alfred. But after a few moments of thought, she decided she'd handle it herself. Unsure of what she would do upon finding Adam.
Part of her thought, "kill him he killed your mother. He needs to pay with his life and avenge his mother. He deserves nothing less than death."
While the other part of her thought "No we need to kick his ass, drag him to jail and follow a proper legal procedure. Two wrongs won't make it right."
She debated on telling Barbara who watched Mia for her when she patrolled, and Jason was away.
"Your still here? You know it's almost 10:00 pm right?" Barbara questioned
"Yeah, sorry I got distracted I'm headed out now," Angel said, closing her files and locking her computer.
"Okay, No rush you, okay?" Barbara asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'll try to be back before 2:00 am, if I'm not feel free to sleep in the guest room if need be." Angel replied.
"Okay, you are one of my best friends. I hope you know; you can talk to me. I know how Bruce is, and I wouldn't tell him. Have I ever told him anything you told me?" Barbara said.
"No, you haven't, I swear I am fine. If I ever need to talk, I know I can talk to you or Jason." Angel stated, putting on her helmet over her wig, and completing her bat suit.
"Okay, I believe you. You know I may just stay the night; I am pretty beat. But my phone will be on and I'll be up for at least a few more hours. Call me if you need to, I mean it." Barbara replied.
Angel as Batwoman gave a wave, hopping on her bike and headed out.
