Westeroes is a constitutional monarchy. King Aerys used to be a populer King in his youth but with age his decling mental health made him unpopular especially after his infamous outburst of burn them all . Unlike Aerys the public sympathies with his long suffering wife Queen Rhaella whom public loved. Together they have seven children
Crown Prince Rhaegar - is the oldest child of King and Queen, handsome, calm and collective Rhaegar is everything his father isn't Rhaegar was the most eligible bachelor in the country. He married Princess Ellia of Dorne . It was the second Targaryen-Martell wedding after King Daeron I and Princess Myriah in middle ages. Together Ellia and Rhaegar have two children Rhaenys and Aegon. They were considered a perfect family but the illusion soon shattered when Prince Rhaegar was photographed with another woman whose identity revealed to be Lady Lyanna Stark daughter of MP Rickard Stark. Rhaegar proclaimed his love for Lyanna and his unhappiness with Ellia. He got divorce and quickly married Lyanna . But the couple became very unpopular with public. Rickard Stark was accused of serving his daughter in a platter to the prince and the Starks were called social climbers by public. Rickard had a heart attack and died. Lyanna's brother Brandon disown her. A year later Lyanna give birth to a son Jon but due to complications in birth she couldn't have more children.
Princess Shaena - Shaena is the second child and the older daughter of the King and Queen. Stern, Austere and no-nonsense. Shaena seems the most unfriendliest out of the prince and princess. Shaena married her second cousin Robert Baratheon and have three children Mya, Edric and Gendry. Unlike children of her brothers, her children couldn't inherent the title of prince and princess. Unlike her husband Shaena share a good relationship with both her brothers in law. She supported Stannis's relationship with foreign born Melisandre who was a commoner, she's also godmother to their daughter Shireen. With time news of Robert's infidelity came but Shaena refused to react. In fact she remained married to Robert. People speculate that she's doing all this for the sake of children but Shaena kept her lip sealed
Prince Daeron- is the second son of Aerys and Rhaella. Nicknamed Daeron the Daring for his love for adventure sports Daeron has always been populer with the youth. Daeron married Cersei Lannister daughter of PM candidate Tywin Lannister. Unlike Rhaegar and Lyanna, Daeron and Cersei are considered a power couple. Daeron is also very close his father in law Tywin when Daeron asked people to vote for his father in law it caused a public outcry becouse the royal family doesnt speak on political matters.
Prince Aegon- is the third son of King and Queen. He is called Egg by his family. Aegon is considered boring by many for his lack of charm and charisma like his brothers. Aegon is in love with his brother' Rhaegar's private secratary Jon Connigton
Prince Jaehaerys - is the forth son and the most artistic one. He loves paiting and music. While studying in Oldtown Jaehaerys met Lynese Hightower, youngest daughter of billionaire Leyton Hightower. Some people said Jaehaerys was set up by his former sister in law Ellia who is married to Baelor Hightower, Lynesse's older brother but the rumors were quickly shut down
Prince Viserys- is the fifth son of the family. Spoilt, arrogent and brash Viserys isn't liked by many. He was sent Dorne to study where he got involved with Princess Arianne of Dorne their intimate pictures were leaked in public and both royal families faced the scandal. Thus Viserys and Arianna get engaged
Princess Daenerys - is youngest child and the second daughter of the family nicknamed stormborn becouse she was born during a storm. Daenerys is extremely sheltered by her fimily. Her older brothers dote on her especially Rhaegar. Rhaegar even asked their father to bestow the title Realm's delight on Daernrys angering Shaena who currently holds the title as the older daughter.
