Dear Beatrice,
If you are reading this, it means that I have left you. I won’t apologize, because as you told me, saying sorry means that you regret something you did, and well I don’t regret it. If the mission went according to the plan, I’m dead and so is Micheal. We knew that it was the only solution to stopping Adriel and we decided to go for it. Who thought that I would be the sacrificing for everyone type? Not me for sure. But if I am here right now, it’s all thanks to you. You have given me more than any halo could have given me. The halo gave me back my life, a second chance, you gave me a reason to live it.
There is so much that I would like to tell you face to face. I just hope that I had the strength to say it. If that’s not the case, I’ll write it down on paper so it’s permanent.
You are my person. You are my best friend. But also so much more. You are the person that I want to go back to when I’m going back home. The months in Switzerland have been the most peaceful and beautiful moments in my life, and I give you all the credit for this. You gave me so much already by putting up with me, the only thing that I ask you to do is give me a little more. Live your life, and don’t blame yourself. The order doesn’t deserve you, well nobody does. Take it upon your will to do what you want to do. Be free. Don’t wait for me. Fall in love, kick-ass, and don’t forget me.
