“Nong! My fiancé will arrive in a few minutes. Make yourself presentable please and stop lying around in the living room!” my sister was frantically cleaning the kitchen and preparing for her fiancé’s visit in our flat. Me and my sister started living together last month. My old dormitory needed to be renovated, so at the mean time she offered me to live with her. I told her I would leave as soon as they finish renovating my dorm.
“P’Cha, I just took a shower, you know me when I get so comfortable with the sofa. It’s like the dreamland is calling me.” As I tried to wake myself up. I know she’s looking forward for her boyfriend’s visit, she’s been begging me to meet her future husband. This meeting has been postpone a few times. Not matching with our schedules, her fiancé was always busy with work while me, I’m always out in the library finishing my thesis. “Don’t worry my dear sister. I know brother in-law will love me.”
Time stopped.
When Zee entered that door, when he was taken aback when I opened that door for him. I let him in. I let him in, in my life again but I never knew I will see him again after all these years. I never imagined that he will be my sister’s boyfriend/fiancé, the love of her life. I never imagined that my first love will be my sister’s last love.
