Kou and Mitsuba were hanging out in a classroom talking about normal things like colors, snacks and other random things until the mokkes came in with a delivery. It was in a box and had something inside it covered with bubble wrap. “What’s this?” Mitsuba asked pointing at it. “It looks like bubble wrap..oh you’re talking about what’s covering it up? I have no idea.” Kou said as he stared at it. Mitsuba elbowed him then looked at it and picked it up. “It’s heavy, like a vase? What is this?” Mitsuba asked the mokke.
“We just deliver.” One said. “No idea.” Another one said. Mitsuba face palmed and placed it on a table as they both analyzed it. Kou got bored and started popping it. “What are you doing?” Mitsuba asked tired. “Popping it because we’re not getting anywhere with this investigation! Why don’t we open it already?” Kou whined. “What if this isn’t even ours? That’s why.” Mitsuba then stretched and looked at it. He started popping it too and noticed something about the bubble wrap that was similar with him.
“I think me and bubble wrap are similar in a way, like it’s always covering something hard but easy to break. Bubble wrap is very easy to tear to depending on how you tear it, slow or fast it’ll rip eventually. It’s covering something so stupidly fragile and it’s like, what’s the use? It’s going to break anyway. Either accidentally or on purpose, it’s bound to break.” Mitsuba then realized he went on a useless talk about bubble wrap and put his head down.
“Are you ok? We can give the thing back if you want to.” Kou stood up and rubbed Mitsubas back. Mitsuba stared at Kou as tears fell and looked back at the covered thing. “Let’s actually open this thing.” Kou nodded as they cut the bubble wrap. Inside was a pot and pack of seeds and it was for both of them from Nene with a note saying ‘These seeds reminded me of you, so here’s a pack of daisies for two!’ Mitsuba however started bursting out laughing due to the rhyme but Kou smile knowing it was meant in kindness.
Mitsuba saw Kous smile and stopped laughing and started playing with his fingers. “Wanna plant these tomorrow..together?” Mitsuba nervously asked Kou as he smiled once more. “I would love to! I have to go now though, got to check on Nene to make sure Hanako isn’t teasing her. I’ll see you tomorrow though ok?!” Kou yelled to Mitsuba as he ran out the door. “I’ll be looking forward to it dork!” Mitsuba yelled back. Mitsuba waved as a smile faded away from his face and he looked at the pot and sighed. “I don’t even know how to plant things.” Mitsuba then looked out the window and watched the sunset until he got bored.
