Summary
V is just another soul trying to do some good in Night City. She knows what it's like to lose everything. When a dangerous piece of chrome goes missing, everything spirals out of control and the only thing she can do is try her best to keep everything from falling apart, like so much glass.
David Martinez is an Arasaka Academy student from Santo, just about the furthest you can get from a suit. After witnessing a mysterious stranger fighting a cyberpsycho in an XBD, his whole life is turned upside down the next day by a gangoon drive-by. With no help in sight and alone in Night City, he chips in a piece of military grade chrome he found in his mom's possessions, inadvertently jumping head first into the world of Edgerunning.
