Chapter Text
Bluish in colour, this Titan is the least humanoid of the Titan shifters. Having elements of multiple sea creatures, this titan specializes in naval combat and engagements. The Titan has a protective eyelid to improve its vision underwater. It also has excellent night vision, able to swim through deep waters without the need for external light. Apart from that, the Titan also has very potent sonar abilities, making it adept at detection underwater.
It goes without saying, but this Titan is an excellent swimmer. Aided by webbed feet and hands, and an enormous tail, the Titan swims at break neck speeds. The titan’s head is also notoriously tough, used to batter ships and submarines.
The Titan, despite its abilities, had multiple drawbacks. The obvious one is that continued usage of the Titan makes the user especially susceptible to dehydration. The Titan also develops numerous mobility issues when it’s on land. Being slightly taller than all the Titans (save the colossus), it moves slowly on land. While it has a considerably tougher skin than an average Titan, the lack of mobility, combined with the absence of an ability like the steam release of the Colossus, makes the Titan extremely vulnerable on land.
Further, the titan saps the user immensely, requiring insane levels of endurance and stamina training on the part of the user, in and out of their Titan forms. The Titan is also considerably bulkier than the others, having to maintain deposits of fat to take advantage it’s sonar abilities.
This Titan is a concept that would really change the landscape of the world of Attack On Tian. The Beast Titan could develop the abilities of a marine creature and be used in a similar manner, but the presence of a specialized Naval Titan makes the Marlean military a force to be reckoned with. Combining its abilities with faster Titans like the Cart and the Jaw, can result in a devastating combination if both powers are available to the same person.
