What's your 3 wishes Addams? I don't know Sinclair, you.

Summary:

Wednesday brings Enid Sinclair home for midterm break.

Notes:

I'm so sleep deprived help

Work Text:

Since Enid's parents hadn't taken her from Nevermore this midterm. Wednesday had taken it upon herself to bring Sinclair home with her, this just was out of thanks for what she does for her.

No other reason obviously.

She had no reason… At all..

Well, maybe she did.

She wanted to get closer with Enid without seeming weird about it. This girl wasn't that oblivious.

"Thanks for having me Mrs Addams."

This girl was perfect, the way her eyes flared so gently, her smile so perfect as she awkwardly returned a smile to Mortrica Addams. The way she'd just exist in her presence was unbelievable.

The one thing that she found absolutely annoying and unnecessary was the comments passed about how she had fallen in love finally, falling into the Addams Curse. Which she vowed not to fall into.

Her lips dry everytime it comes up.

Because it was true. She had fallen under the Addams curse. Her mother and father are rolling in their graves. They knew the way their daughter looked at Enid Sinclair, the way she would go silent around her when they talked to her.

She'd usually put in a cold input into the conversation, probably of a dry humoured joke, that had to do with an empty threat towards her roommate.

But she always silently watched her.

Gomez and Morticia seemed to smile at the sight of Enid when she walked in. They didn't expect their daughter to have a friend, and they thought something was going on, with more between them.

"That last time we met, Ms.. Sinclair was it not?" Morticia brought her hand to her lips as a welcome. Enid looked slightly embarrassed, but who should care?

Wednesday's eyes widened, the only time they ever kissed someone's hand is when it was someone's romantic partner, when it was Fester's "Wife" they kissed her hands as a sign they recognised her as his romantic partner.

They did it to her Aunt's when they seemed to have been married the weeks before she went to Nevermore.

They weren't the first two women of their family to be married either. Which apparently wasn't right in the adolescent world? She had heard from folk people in Jericho that it was, which wasn't the case in her family at all.

For years people of the same sex have married each other.

She never saw anything wrong with it.

She was still panicking on the inside, as Gomez was going to kiss her hand too as a greeting. Her eyebrow slightly raised with her deadpan expression, biting the lip on the inside of her cheek.

"Welcome! Welcome, to our family home, I hear you're a werewolf my dear. So our grounds go on for miles, for you to run your werewolf heart out."

Enid smiled awkwardly again.

"Thank you." She nodded.

"I'm sure our daughter has been anything but nice to you."

Wednesday frowns, her eyes making slits.

"Well, in an interesting way, yes." Enid replied, with another smile. She was nervous, by the way her roommate could tell immediately she was messing with her hands, biting her lip, her eyes slightly wider, and behind her back she could see the claws growing and going back to nails every few minutes.

Don't say elaborat-

"Elaborate Wednesday?"

She heaves a deep sigh.

"She's been smothering me with hospitality since that day. I got there." She folds her arms, dropping her biting of the lip and her panicked eyebrow. She had to prove that she was calm around this girl.

She had to make sure they got a different idea.

On another note, she didn't know how to feel having emotions of this value. She never felt this way, about anyone. Even about her supposed Tyler and Xavier. She had no interest at all, but they seemed to be intrigued by her. The idea of her was fascinating to them.

Enid treated her differently.

She felt the boys had empty intentions around their romantic advances, they showed fake interest in what she wanted.

Enid on the other hand was polar opposite, she was completely honest about it. She showed interest just by disgust, but neither the less she felt that she was interested.

The intentions seemed clear.

She knew what Enid would do and she's clear about it.

She did however have a lot of internal… She hated saying it… Jealousy. Because of Ajax these couple of months, she'd find them making out in their room, at the back of the school.

Whenever they were having a conversation, Enid would spot Ajax and flock her way to him. Leaving her mid conversation. It always left her empty. She didn't know what to. She couldn't tell herself what to do.

She couldn't say that she'll get over it, because her feelings that she doesn't have were actually slightly hurt.

Usually people assumed Wednesday Addams had no feelings at all. That if they said anything to her they wouldn't be hurt, that she'd never be hurt by actions or words. But deep down, she did get hurt sometimes.

But it took something to hurt her deeply to do so.

Which is this girl that she didn't like. That she loathed with her entire soul. Was the one to hurt them. She hadn't seen the reason why she felt this way. It confused her for a while.

Breaking from her thoughts now, they had Enid questions about random things and such. She was making sure nothing about her being her partner came up.

She kind of wished she could say she was.

But nevermind that now.

Thinking about it now, Pugsley was still in school at the moment she hadn't noticed he wasn't here yet.

"You can sleep in Wednesday's room, yes?"

Her room?

"mamma, c'è una stanza per gli ospiti." (Mother, there's a guest room.)

Wednesday let the Italian slither her tongue. Her eyes hard on her Mother smiling mischievously to herself, she knew what she was doing.

Enid looked at her slightly shocked. She didn't know Wednesday could speak another language and the way it elegantly rolled off her tongue.

"Ora, ora, perché dovremmo trattare così la tua altra metà?" (Now, Now, why would you treat your other half like that.)

Morticia had it said with a smirk, it was laughable to her. But from Wednesday's point of view she was having a mini panic attack. Enid Sinclair in her room!? Fine, they're roommate's but it's not their room. It's the school.

This is her room.

Her room.

Enid Sinclair in her room. How had it come to this in all she hated love and its tendencies.

"Bene." (Fine) Wednesday finally agreed, she didn't want to fight on their first day back here. She didn't have the usual fight in her, she was just hoping to get some sleep when she got to her room.

Maybe Pugsley could keep the mutt she had brought into her home occupied.

They bring luggage up to her room, Enid being her only pack suitcase since she couldn't bring a lot since her parents left her there.

Wednesday had slightly felt some petty sympathy for the werewolf seeing as she was left in Nevermore every holiday of every season. She didn't want her being depressed before the days leading up to her departure.

So she had offered for Enid to come with her and she was more than willing.

It was a week's break.

What could happen in that week?

"Addams, c'mere." Enid demanded they take a walk on the grounds around the Addams Mansion. She was overwhelmed by it by the time they had reached the gates.

She expected the Addams to be rich, but not that rich.

It was like some haunted mansion, but the sunny horizon on it made her feel hopeful.

She was greeted fairly well, she was nervous seeing as they didn't seem to take a liking to her when they first met. But they did say any friend of Wednesday was a friend of theirs.

But she did notice something off about Wednesday Addams. She was nervous out of step and her comments didn't hold as much of a snarky tone as it usually did. She was always staying silent.

Observing from afar as it seemed.

"Yes?"

"What are all these?" Enid points to all the graves out in their back garden.

"Oh tombstones, we have our own cemetery, we bury our family in our back garden." She says casually as if it's the most normal thing ever, which it might be for her, but for Enid she was kind of weirded out. She didn't really know what to expect with the Addams family; they were funky and weird.

She just eventually had to get used to it.

But this was slightly abnormal.

She looked for a certain grave, since she had been curious since they had a heart to heart about Nero. Wednesday's pet scorpion.

She looks around the gloomy place, it was sorted year by year, evey grave neatly done. Each gravestone withholding a symbol of probably what the family member was known for.

She had noticed that there were a lot of pets.

Pugsley, which she had figured out was Wednesday's brother from meeting him. She loved the little brother, he was the complete opposite from his sister and more bubbly and a jokester.

She knew why Wednesday made it her job to protect him with the piranhas.

He was such a sensitive soul. Unlike his sister again. She was so protective of her heart and he wore it on his sleeve. Two polar opposite, yet she saw that Wednesday cared about him.

The way she'd softly talk to him, with genuine sincerity. Her expression slightly dropped when she didn't know Enid was there and she'd just be talking to Pugsley.

She wanted a sibling relationship like that.

She felt the love that they had for each other.

Whether or not they were polar opposites. She had hope for herself and Wednesday if that was the case. She did see a difference, she could sense a difference in her tenseness anyway.

She stopped on a certain grave with a scorpion hanging out the side with cursive writing. She looked at it with sad eyes. Wednesday frowning.

It read "To our beloved scorpion who kept our little storm cloud safe."

"Why stop on this one?"

"I just noticed it, that's all."

"Well… Let's look somewhere else."

Enid stood up, tagging along after her roommate. It wasn't that hard to catch up to her since she wasn't that much of a fast walker.

Hopefully she didn't upset her Addams.

"This is stupid anyway! chi ha bisogno di questa spazzatura" (Who needs this rubbish)

Pugsley had thrown his maths homework at the wall in anger. As Wednesday had just walked in, she seemed slightly surprised by the sudden outburst, her eyebrow raised in curiosity as to what had caused it.

Her cold eyes pierce him as they lay on him.

"I thought you said you could do math."

"Well not everything is easy to me unlike you Idiot." He snaps back in rebellion. As his sister just sits there unphased by his petty remark. Maybe if he had studied more the horrors of mathematics wouldn't plague him. He was the idiot.

"Well I could help?"

"Help? Since when do you help?" Pugsley again answers in this tone that just annoys her to her bones. But she remains calm under her cold demeanour. She had been helping since day one, it's just everything was spoon fed to Pugsley. Which he didn't realise.

She had to work to get where she is in the family, she had to beat the jungle bushes out of the way for him to walk through the jungle. She would bat every single threat out of the way of his path.

She paved the way.

She was somewhat angry because of this, seeing Pugsley break from what her parents wanted from her. They did mean well, just she didn't want the pressure of being in love.

Pugsley seems to get none of this treatment.

"I don't see any point in helping you if you're going to be some helpless brat."

"I'm not some helpless brat and you don't make anything better!"

He pushed the chair out of his way, then another chair went her way, which had nearly hit her, it would've been as much fun if it had hit her. She could yell for her mother then to get payback.

Wednesday was amused by his little outburst. It was like some toddler in a 14 year old body.

"You don't waltz back in, like some stupid idiot and pretend you were here. You weren't!"

He had a sense of abandonment typical of Pugsley Addams. Why was that her fault? She had protected him at all costs. She was going to go and threaten any bullies again if they made way for him. It was of her nature to protect her brother, the outcome would've been no different.

"Well I couldn't be here. It's not my fault I protected you." Wednesday stated in her usual monotone voice.

"I don't care, I don't even see you. You're not even here."

"What am I supposed to do about that?"

"You probably don't even give me a single thought in Nevermore." Pugsley yells, she was sure her parents will eventually walk in and see what's going on for now, she'll poke the bear with the stick and hope for the best.

"Well, I was kind of dealing with murder and investigation so."

He gives a scowl, a single tear rolling down his face. She wished she could just say the words of 'don't show emotions, they equal weakness.' but she'd be a hypocrite saying those words.

"You don't care, do you."

Wednesday sighed. She was really going to have one of those sickening caring moments with her brother wasn't she. She did care, just not much for his random tantrums.

"Your presence is insufferable. Yet every time, when I was at school, a certain boy reminded me of you, he was quiet and nurturing and had an interest in bees. Like whenever I'd see those dogs that had the patches that were black and they were fully white, I'd think of Pugsley Addams."

Pugsley wipes the tears with a shaky grin. He was the one to smile in the family. He has a nice smile. It wants to make her smile, but she doesn't do smiles.

"I'd read the Harry Potter books, even if I may hate the first few. I'd read them, to remind myself you're doing okay. Well I hoped at least out of pity. Not out of the fact I care. I did give you two months tops."

She has gone on for too long about her gushy caring feelings. So she just shut herself up. Her tone had been so soft and gentle, it's undertone very caring to an extent that she could go.

"Really?"

"Yes really. It makes me laugh, how low you think of me Pugsley."

He looks at the chairs he has flung, scratching the back of his neck embarrassed at his outburst. Wednesday had already put the chair under the table that he had flung at her.

"I promise you, I'll always look after you."

"I know." Pugsley says in the reply.

"I hope you do somaro." (Dunce)

Wednesday was in her room writing in her notebook instead of her typewriter. She wrote a lot of journals over the years. She had been writing about Enid for a solid half an hour.

Her father had taken the werewolf away from her for a while. They had gone out for some "suocero nuora tempo." Which is father in law and daughter in law time.

She was crimson red, when he had said that this morning at the family breakfast.

She had physically spat out her tea that she had been drinking.

Pugsley snorted behind his slice of toast at the thought of Enid being with his sister, which she has been questioned a million times about. He'd always ask after they had some sort of moment.

And it sunk into her as Enid asked what that was. She wished this girl knew Italian. She really did.

Continuing the day she had isolated herself in her room, in a frenzy about Sinclair, writing about her in her journal. It was something she hadn't realised before, how much she loved this girl.

She hated the fact she did. She'd much rather love than hate. It's like her insufferable brother when he wears his sensitive and feeble heart on his sleeve, she knew her heart was breaking out from her cage she had put it in and it was going on that sleeve of hers.

She knew that these emotions, these feelings, trying to suppress them and shove them away was something she was tempted to do. It was something she always did, but she had a feeling this time.

That something was different. That her emotions wouldn't be played with by Enid. That she wouldn't devastate her.

It was easy to be vulnerable with her. Her entire body ached to be. She had grown to like it. The thought that someone cares, she found it weakening at first, she felt nauseous at being weak.

She knew emotions equal weakness, but Sinclair had made her prone to her weaknesses.

It made her sick.

But now, she has grown on her.

"Wednesday, mia figlia" (My daughter)

Her mother's voice breaks her from her lovesick thoughts. She gets the distant smell of perfume.

"Yes?"

"I have a query."

"certo che lo fai." (Of course you do.)

"Don't be so rude for your mother." She said with a smile to her dry lips. Her daughter smelt this roses perfume, the one she used to wear for events. Wednesday recognises it.

She put down her journal, shoving it into her drawer. She closed it swiftly.

"About Enid Sinclair—"

"No, you're done with your questions out."

Wednesday snapped already. Her mother was going to bombard her with questions, like she was going to prison like she had committed some crime.

Morticia knew her daughter well. She knew she'd get an answer. She knew something was going on, she hadn't seen her daughter so worked up about someone.

She had been like that at her age too.

"Dear, we just have to talk. I know that you somewhat like her."

"I don't like that mutt. She's awful, mother." Wednesday tried faking her hatred, but her eyes cringing at saying it made Morticia smile. She knew, she most definitely knew with that smug smirk, that she wanted to knock off that smile.

"Tell me, why her?"

She glares at her mother. She didn't want to tell her anything. But she had to give in somehow.

"She's my friend, that's why."

"You've never taken that much interest in a friend, and we've seen the way you look at her. It reminds us of when we were young."

Wednesday sighed.

"I chose her. Because she isn't like the others, mother that's why."

Please don't say elaborat—

"Elaborate."

She should really stop jinxing herself like that.

"Mi lascerai in pace?" (Will you just leave me alone)

Morticia frowns, knowing full well the walls she was trying to put up were pointless. She just wanted to know so badly even if I was just asking her till she got an answer. "This is the only time I've seen genuine happiness in your eyes, la mia nuvola temporalesca." (My little storm cloud)

"Non sono mai felice" (I'm never happy.)

"Well that seems to have changed, ever since Enid Sinclair has come into your life, you have to ask yourself why is that right?" Morticia sat down next to her in the vacant spot seeing as it was open.

She knew that Wednesday didn't like being close.

So she kept distance.

"I'm saying, I like her Wednesday. She contrasts you, like the sun of the golden hour."

Enid Sinclair is like the sun of the golden hour. Pretty. The perfect amount of sunlight. Always bright. She did contrast her..

"That makes me the moon then?"

"What would a sun be without its moon?"

It was perfect, she had planned it out.

It was the last day of the mid term break.

They went out to the balcony and watched the sunset. It reminded her of what her mother said. About her being the sun, when she looked out at this sunset.

She was reminded of being bathed in sunlight by the person next to her. She had always seen these beautiful features, but to analyse the beauty of her werewolf.

She was beautiful. The way her blue eyes reflect the orange sun, the way her lips go with her smile, the way her hair shines with its pretty highlights, she feels her eyes get lost in every feature.

Her heart in a twist, her stomach in a bunch.

The way she looked like a divine goddess, the way everything about her was so beautiful and so exquisite. Her looks weren't even the whole package.

She could go on and on about Enid Sinclair.

"Thanks for having me at your house."

"Hm?" Wednesday was lost in her, that she had forgotten they could speak.

"Thanks for having me here." Enid turns towards her. Wednesday is turning to the sun now, not turning to her own. She was too scared too and she could feel her pale skin heating up.

"My family loved having you, they said bring you again."

Enid gives a chuckle, her little laugh so breathtaking.

Oh how sickeningly perfect she is.

"Really?"

"Really… I was uh… Hoping, you'd erm.. Come back." Wednesday asked awkwardly, staring at her feet awkwardly, Enid knew something was off about Addams, but she was definitely vulnerable with her today and definitely more gentle and less monotone.

Still monotone, just with some emotion.

"Am I dreaming, Addams? Or do you want me around?"

"Hush, Sinclair."

"Going soft on me?"

"Oh, ho ho. You wish."

There it was. The snarky comebacks that she was looking for. Wednesday looked like she was about to smile. But she didn't. Enid waited for a smile off the Addams girl for so long. But it didn't come.

They stay out there for a while.

Just watching, she felt herself subconsciously moving closer to Enid as times went on. This time, she didn't make a move to try and fluster Enid. She was too nervous about this.

She had to make the first move.

Before anything happens. They decide to go back in seeing as it was getting cold tonight.

Enid didn't mind, she was a werewolf, she was a heater. But Wednesday was as cold as an ice cube.

When they reach her room, she had removed all the torture devices from when she was younger out of her room. Because she did it as a joke on Pugsley, to torture him. But ever since she had gained her abilities, she hasn't been turned off the idea of torture.

She was sadistic.

But she was humbled by her visions.

Now she had her bed, which had been upped by a size during her time at Nevermore, it was only Queens size, now it's a King's size. It had a black wood frame, coming up over it, the red cushion inside of it at the top glistening.

By the window she had a writing desk which was a mess.

She was proud of her collection of knives however. She did put them away because of Enid.

She had blankets in the corner that were mostly black, grey, white. One stuck out like a sore thumb. It was the one Enid had bought her on the day out with Gomez.

It was nice too, she'd treasure it.

It was drowned in Enid's perfume, so it smelt like her.

She also had her Cello collection, which was in her other corner. It ranges from her first cello to her most recent cello. Which was the black one, with the white undertones.

You finally have the TV in front of her bed, for whenever she wants to watch something morbid most likely.

She crashed down onto the bed with the fleecy blanket. Enid crashing down next to her.

"Most definitely the best mid term ever. Mom and Dad would never like having me this much."

"Well they're quite stupid il mio sole." (My Sun)

Enid smiles at the use of the other language, she knew that must be some term of endearment. She hoped.

"Maybe I deserve it, y'know?"

"You don't deserve anything, those two progenie infernale della terra give you." (Hell spawn of the earth)

Sinclair wants to know what she's saying but doesn't ask. Probably something she didn't wanna hear said about her parents, she fell back onto the pillows.

Wednesday crawling up to the pillows, turning on her side to face Enid. Even though the girl was lying straight, looking up.

"It just hurts that this is how a family should be."

"Somewhat should be."

"My Mom and Dad would simply forget I exist the minute I walk in the door."

Addams frowns at this, why would they do such a thing to Sinclair. For no reason, without argument?

"Your presence is too special for someone to ignore you like some plastic bag on the street. You're radiant, you stand out. They're idiots."

Enid felt a smile line her lips, her eyes lighting up with happiness. She was however curious as to why the girl was being so sincere and passionate.

Wednesday wasn't this open before? She wasn't even threatening her.. She was complimenting her. Which was new. Maybe it was good? Usually she was mean and harsh.

But this side was new.

This soft and gentle side, that she felt caressed by. That this Wednesday Addams was the real Wednesday Addams and not just some protected by walls girl, who hated everyone and put up this goth girl facade.

She was genuine.

Wednesday felt herself trying to look everywhere but Enid's lips. She was really tempted to look.

But she knew that this was just the way it was gonna be. Enid isn't going to kiss her. There is no way that she is.

"Are you still with Ajax?"

Enid taken aback by the sudden ask, her expression going solemn.

"No actually, he said he wasn't ready. So he's with some other girl. She's prettier I assume."

"There's no way she's prettier."

"Really?"

"Really, Enid"

First name to name basis made Enid turn to Wednesday with a raised eyebrow, they knit together.

"Don't look so confused, it's true. You're pretty."

"Thank you Willa…"

They stayed in silence for a minute or so, she was thinking about it for a moment. Something was wrong with Wednesday there had to be. But she knew there wasn't.

She would never call her pretty.

She isn't that type of person.

"Sinclair, we should really get to bed. It's nearly 2 in the morning."

She felt a nervousness in her chest, as Enid comes down from the pillow and turns to face her Addams. She was sure she was dreaming. But Sinclair came closer.

"I like talking to you though." She gives a childish frown.

Wednesday sighs. "What do you wanna talk about?"

Enid thought for a moment. Before coming up with the question. It was really out of nowhere.

"If you had 3 wishes, what would you do?"

Addams thought for a moment, her eyes looking up at the sky as she thought. She did really try to think, she didn't know. It was an interesting question. What would she wish for?

She wished for Enid.

But she also wished for other things.

"I wished I didn't have my abilities. I don't like seeing how other people die a miserable death." She said with a frown, thinking of all the people she's had visions of when she touches them and how they died hours later.

She hoped it never happens to Enid.

"Question,"

Wednesday nods.

"Have you ever touched me and have had a vision?"

"Fortunately not."

Sinclair is relieved by this answer, she continues.

"2nd wish?"

Wednesday thought about this one too, she didn't really know what she wanted or what she needed. She needed Enid. She was in desperate need of saying a kiss. But Enid may not like her that way.

"An uneventful year at Nevermore. We could use it."

"Tell me about it. I would love that, just being your roommate without the murderers and mystery… that would be nice."

The Werewolf smiled at the thought of them just being together at a year of Nevermore where it isn't eventful. It was only the start of the year. The mid-term was only October.

Wednesday found herself again wanting to smile. But she couldn't do that one thing.

Next wish.

"3rd?"

This is the one she really wanted to say she wanted to Enid.

But she wouldn't.

"I hope that you knit me something stupid for my birthday."

Enid gives a chuckle at that, she knew she meant well so she wasn't offended. Ever since the snood she has tried making more knit stuff after it was used against the Hyde (She refused to call it Tyler)

"I will," She held out her pinkie. "Pinkie promise."

Wednesday rolls her eyes at the small gesture, locking her pinkie with Enid. She felt the little tingles in her hand after, she was so deprived of touch as a human being.

Slightest of touch, little fireworks spark, when she held hands with Enid that one time, she was physically hurt. It was so full of that pins and needles feeling. Like little pricks on her skin.

They thread along, depending on where she's touched.

She hates being caressed by the face. Because of Tyler. She didn't even like saying his name. He was an abomination. Truly. She felt so loved as he held her like some glass that would break. He was so good for holding her.

Keeping her up high above everything.

But now, she hates the thought of him. The thought of his touch. Hopefully her skin cells regenerate soon so she doesn't have to know he touched that skin.

She regrets it, she regrets liking him. It's why she took so long to warm up to Enid again. Because Tyler had done her so wrong, that's why her heart was more difficult to get to.

But that is in the past.

She's in the present now.

"If you had 3 wishes, what would they be Sinclair?" Wednesday questioned wanting to know since she was curious now.

"Hm…"

She watched the werewolf decide what her answer would be. She was looking up at the red cushion bed frame above them.

"For my parents to accept me. I don't know, I've always wanted their approval."

There was a silence for a few seconds, Wednesday thinking of what to say.

"I will say that for someone so bubbly and charismatic. You think so low of yourself amore mio" (my love)

"It's just I want them to think that I'm great. Well my mother at least." Enid added at the end, she did find her dad great sometimes. But he wasn't great, because he was enabling her Mother's behaviour by letting her do it to his daughter.

Conversion camp?

Really.

"Tesoro, you're truly great, you did turn. They just haven't heard. You're truly a monster of mischief and murderous intent, ready to rip throats."

Enid gives a laugh, genuinely getting one out of her. "Thanks ΦΕΓΓΑΡΙ μου" (My moon)

Wednesday goes read. She had totally forgotten that the werewolf could speak Greek. The way it rolled off her tongue made her panic. She needed to remain neutral, she tried but her face was read. The way she had said it melted her brain.

She cleaned her throat.

"But yes, you are. Continuing, 2nd wish?"

"I wish… Hm… I wish to spend more time with… You."

"Me?" The answer seemed unreal. Usually anyone who saw her coming their way crossed the street.

"Yes you dummy."

"Shush Sinclair."

Enid leaves out another snort of laughter. Leaving Wednesday nearly on the verge of a grin again.

"I like spending time with you. It's one of my most favourite things in the world, all my other friends aren't like you. You seem different.."

"Is that a good or bad thing? What's so bad about Wednesday Addams?"

"She can be a bit deadly and full of herself, but before she opens her mouth. She's genuinely so caring, somehow beneath that homicidal maniac is a girl who cares." Enid moves closer, her body feeling the cold of Wednesday.

Wednesday tenses, she felt intimidated because of the other girl being bigger than her.

If she had told herself 6 months ago, she'd be absolutely crushing on Enid Sinclair. She would've been shocked.

"3rd?"

The breath off her lips hit her skin, her skin so cold embracing it.

There's silence. As Enid slots down a bit more to head to with Wednesday. There's this big tension in both their stomachs, knots knotting over and over again.

"Bella lei è.." (Beautiful she is)

Wednesday muttered these words to herself knowing that Enid would have no clue what she was saying.

"I think my third…" Enid stops for a glance at Addam's eyes taking in the beautiful sight.

She puts her hand out to caress Wednesday's cheek. But the girl flinches away from her hand. She realised she had mentioned this before.

She knew this.

Instead putting her hand on her waist.

There was a moment she didn't even know she was holding her breath for so long. As they both tense.

Wednesday glanced down at her lips, this time she was the first to give in to a glance, pulling Enid closer by the hand that was on her waist.

A shaky breath comes from Enid.

She was nervous too.

Wednesday stares again, looking into her eyes waiting for something. Approval to do so? She cupped her by the cheek. Her heart is going a million miles per hour.

She's so closer to Sinclair's lips that she could go forward and kiss her by accident.

She leans in more and that's where she closes off her distance with Enid.

Her lips taste like chocolate, which would've made her laugh. She was eating chocolate with Pugsley earlier. Her lips are so tender and soft and she's addicted to the feeling of her lips on hers.

She pulls away. "Is this okay…?"

Enid longing for more nodded desperately. She loved the feeling of Wednesday's lips, they were just way softer than Ajax's. Women's lips always were way softer than men.

She felt a smile against her mouth, teeth against her lips.

They break away.

"My 3rd wish.. Is to cuddle with Wednesday Addams for the night."

"Don't let anyone—"

"Heat about this, or you'll kill me. Got it."

Wednesday smiled. Genuine seeable smile. Enid's heart gave a flutter. It was so pretty. She should smile more often.
