Gerard was looking in the mirror after a show. He ran a hand through his greasy black hair, the locks falling like gentle ribbons on his shoulder blades. Gerard unbuttoned his shirt and took off his red tie, observing his upper body in the mirror.
“Hey Gee! Are you almost done in there?”
Gerard heard Frank say, his knocks on the door soft. Gerard quickly redressed in his skeleton onesie, opening the door and walking past Frank without a word.
“Gee- are you-?”
Frank couldn’t even finish his sentence. Gerard climbed into his bunk, and shut the curtain, starting to curl up and wish he hadn’t been staring at himself.
Gerard saw some soft fingertips gliding against his curtain fabric.
“Gee..? Is everything okay?”
He asked. Gerard opened the curtain a small bit before he said,
”Could you.. Come in? Please?”
Frank quickly nodded, climbing into the bunk and closing the curtain behind him.
”What’s wrong, Gee?”
He asked, letting Gerard lay his head on his chest, playing with his hair.
“Frank..”
Gerard began. He took a deep, shaky breath.
”Am I fat?”
He asked, eyes filling with tears whilst he looked up at his band mate and lover.
“Oh Gee..”
Frank said, holding Gerard closer.
”No no, no you’re not Gee.. Your not fat at all.”
He said. Gerard only curled up more, then Frank noticed something.
”Gee, have you showered yet?”
Frank asked Gerard. Gerard shook his head.
”No..”
”Gee.. What were you doing in the bathroom then?”
Frank asked. Gerard bit his lip.
”I was looking in the mirror.”
”Oh..”
Frank said.
”C’mon, take a shower, you’ll feel better.”
He told Gerard. So Gerard did- he showered. It was rushed but he showered. When Gerard came out, he dressed in the same onesie, getting back into the bunk with Frank.
”Frank, why do you even like my body-? No, why do you love my body?”
Gerard asked.
“Because I sure don’t..”
Frank began playing with Gerard’s damp hair from the shower.
”Well. I love your body Gee because it’s so thick, and warm. Your curves are so voluptuous. I love them so much. Your thick thighs,”
He said, gently squeezing Gerard’s thighs. Gerard bit his lip.
”Your soft hips,”
Frank carefully rubbed Gerard’s left hip.
”And your cute little tummy.”
Frank poked Gerard’s belly, making him giggle and roll over.
”Heyyy, where are you going?”
Frank asked, pouncing on Gerard and beginning to tickle him. Gerard squealed and began to try and kick Frank away, making Frank only have more room to tickle him.
“Noooo!”
Gerard squeaked. Frank tickled Gerard until he began to gasp for air from trying to catch his breath. Gerard then sighed.
”Thanks Frankie.. I needed that.”
He said warmly, snuggling up to Frank once again.
”Of course. Everyone deserves to love themselves.”
Frank told Gerard, kissing his forehead.
