Chapter Text
Wilbur's POV:
My mother had died when Tommy was born, my father started leaving the house a lot he was only there when he had nothing else to do or when he came to talk with Techno or take him out. Everytime I came home from work I would find Tommy crying in his crib and Techno and Phil nowhere to be found in the house. I was stuck taking care of myself and Tommy with no help from Techno or Phil, I can't do this anymore, it's like Tommy is more of my son than my brother. It's Tommy's third birthday, the third year of my mother being dead. I made sure Tommy was fed and had a clean diaper before I left for work, when I came back Tommy was still sleeping in his crib. I decided to use my paycheck to get Tommy some gifts and food. I walked through the isles of the store with Tommy in the cart, grabbing clothing that could keep him warm, and more food for him, I can get myself things later on. When I pulled back into the garage of my house I saw Phil's car there, I heard him yell my name.
"Wilbur!" Phil yelled
"..." I didn't answer because Tommy was sleeping in my arms
"William!" Phil yelled again as I got the door opened while keeping Tommy in my arms
"Yes father?" I said as I looked at his back
"Why is this house a mess?" Phil asked, anger in his voice
"Why don't you ask Techno? I've been out celebrating my younger brother's birthday" I said while glaring at my father
"You mean the day we lost your mother? Why celebrate that?" Phil said as he looked down at me
"It's still Tommy's birthday father!" I yelled while covering Tommy's ears
"I don't care! If he wasn't here, she would still be with us!" Phil yelled, making me flinch
"We both know that she would've willingly given her life for us kids, so why blame anyone for that? It was an accident." I said as I glared at the man in front of me
"..." Phil stayed silent
"Could you two not argue this late? I have work tomorrow and I don't need to be up any longer." Techno gumbled as he walked into the kitchen
"Fine" both Phil and I said
I grabbed Tommy's diapers, my keys, and some food for the both of us as I walked into my room with Tommy still sleeping in my arms
"Everything is gonna be alright kiddo, big brother is here for you" I said as I set him into his crib
