Chapter 1: Bring Me A Dream
Chapter Text
It was cold. That was the first thing Xavier noticed. Chilled air seemed to be all around him, seeping past his layers of clothes and into his bones. There were flashes of red and noise all around him, disrupting his sleep. His dreams had always been hard to decipher, but lately, they had been even more confusing to him. And this seemed to be no exception. His feet were firmly planted in the forest, crunching leaves down onto the ground.
And yet, the world seemed to be spinning. Flashes of different places came to him, blood splattering across the leaves beneath him and unfamiliar fingers scraping along the edge of what seemed to be a cave wall. He was scared. It was hard to admit it, but the visions in front of him frightened him and not knowing what he was looking at only intensified those feelings. His thoughts were broken off by his back hitting the ground. Everything felt like an out of body experience, no pain coming from the sensation and time seeming to trudge by.
The sky above him seemed to be moving, darkened clouds moving by and his whole world shaking around him. This dream seemed intent on not letting him make out too many of the details. It wasn’t rare for his dreams to be like this, visions of the future blurry and muddled. But it never made him feel less sick, wanting to close his eyes and shut all of this out. He knew simply closing his eyes wouldn’t let him escape from this other world.
A flash of bloodied hands appeared in his mind. They moved quickly and pressed over someone’s clothed sides, blood-slick fingers digging beneath clothes to stroke bare skin. They seemed to want to explore every inch that they could. A heavy weight seemed to loom over Xavier and he realized that he was the one being touched. He shivered and tried to get away from the feeling, but hands only held onto him harder as he moved. Flashes of light and leaves filled his vision, unable to make out the features of the person above him as they shifted. As his eyes began to focus, their head disappeared into the crook of his neck.
Lips found his throat, teeth digging into his skin and tongue laving over the marks left behind. Xavier’s own fingers found their way to grasp at the shoulders of the person on top of him. He couldn’t tell if he was trying to push them off or pull them closer as his nails dug into their back. His top was pushed up further, cold air hitting his stomach as hands explored more of his skin. His body felt too weighed down to do anything except lay against the forest floor, letting himself be touched and kissed. And he had to admit that he didn’t mind either, getting used to the feeling and finding himself enjoying it.
“Soon,” A voice whispered out, the word echoing in his head. The voice was indistinguishable. It was deep, most likely a man, but that was the only thing he could tell about it. One simple word shook him to his core. He wasn’t sure what it meant or what to expect, but he had a feeling that it couldn’t be good. Even as hands kept touching him and lips brushed over his jaw, he found himself worrying about the future.
He looked down to see his only body covered in blood. It wasn’t enough to drench him, but the marks of red were noticeable. They looked fresh, still wet as they clung to his skin and his clothes. Unsure of who the blood belonged to, he tried to fight against the hold once more. Maybe he could shake this person off and find a way to finally wake up. But as he moved, he gasped when he felt teeth dig down harder into the side of his neck.
The person above him either wanted to mark him completely as theirs or they wanted to keep him from fighting them off. And at this rate, he couldn’t tell which prospect was more concerning for him. One of Xavier’s hands found its way up to his neck, fingers trembling as he felt the blood beginning to well up there. He wanted to tell himself this was just a dream, but everything felt so real to him as he laid there.
The bite on his neck throbbed painfully, the blood on his own stomach had begun to dry and crust over, the ground beneath him was hard and making his back sore. Cold air nipped at every inch of exposed skin, having temporarily forgotten about it with the warm body laid over his. But now, he was hyper aware of everything. The person on him hadn’t relented. Kisses still pressed to every inch of him that could be reached and Xavier’s head spun at the feeling.
Too much was going on, he told himself. There were too many feelings to process. It was overstimulating with all the sensations, all the things he was trying to focus on. He wanted to scream, to tell the person to get off of him, but he couldn’t find his voice. It was like he was merely a spectator in his own body. He was trapped in his own mind and that feeling of losing control scared him more than anything else about the situation.
A hand that wasn’t his own moved up to the side of his face, tilting his head up a bit. The hand quickly morphed, fingers feeling too long and nails feeling too sharp. It had Xavier’s heart racing again and his eyes snapped open. As a face came into clearer view, his body jolted upright and his eyes opened again. His heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest as he looked around his bedroom. He was safe and sound in his own bed, but the dream left him feeling shaken. Something was coming and he was terrified to find out what it was.
Chapter 2: I'm Goin' Quiet Through The Trees
Chapter Text
The following week went by in a haze for Xavier. Everything seemed to be happening so fast around him and he could barely keep up with it all. He had to admit he was thankful for the distractions from his dreams. He’d never had a vision that had been so sexually charged before and he was having a difficult time figuring out how he felt about that. And the fact they were intermixed with his dreams about a monster lurking around, he decided he probably wouldn’t like the implications of that and chose to find a distraction for himself instead.
It wasn’t difficult to find one, especially not with Wednesday on a mission to uncover what was going on. Her enthusiasm and refusal to back down was frightening to him. And he decided he’d never had a bigger crush on someone before. Maybe she was just a distraction in his mind, but he didn’t allow himself to think too deeply about that. It was much easier to just interpret his feelings as genuine attraction. She was interesting and his mind seemed to wander back to her every time. Even when he tried not to let it; it seemed futile to try.
And after being alone for so long, maybe a new relationship was just what he needed. If it hadn’t been for the male voice, he might’ve let himself believe the dream was about Wednesday. She was peculiar enough for the blood in his dream to not be unexplainable. Maybe he had mistaken what he heard, he told himself. And part of him truly believed it, forcing himself to believe whatever he needed to in order to feel better. After all, he couldn’t turn down any comfort he found. He was in no position to reject any explanation that made even a little bit of sense and his mind ran with his forced conclusion about the situation.
With everything else in his life, he threw himself all into his pursuit of Wednesday. He knew she didn’t show interest in people in the way others normally did, but maybe she genuinely liked him in her own way. His heart had been beating out of his chest when he found her creeping around outside of his studio. Even if it wasn’t the most rational conclusion to draw, he had smiled and told her he knew why she was really there. The prospect of Wednesday liking him, of her being interested enough to seek him out, it was something that made him feel desired and loved in a way he hadn’t felt in a long time.
“Would you…” She had started and Xavier didn’t feel like the moment was real. It felt like a dream he was in, listening as Wednesday stumbled over her words and seemed nervous around him. “Would you go to the dance with me?” And those words seemed like they could make everything he had been going through worth it. They seemed to be the one light thing in a time when everything had seemed so dark. But much like everything else in his life, that positive feeling didn’t last long enough for him to really enjoy it.
It hadn’t taken long for him to figure out her true intentions and he didn’t think he’d ever hurt as much as he did in that moment. A part of him felt numb to it all. After the initial anger and sadness dissipated a bit, all he was left with was bitter numbness. As though he was used to things being unpleasant for him and he supposed he was. But when he was feeling angry and hurt, at least he was feeling something. The numbed feeling scared him more than anything else did, the idea that he could so easily go cold to the world.
He refused to let himself keep feeling that way. Ultimately, he decided he was going to the dance, in spite of what had happened. It felt important to try and have a good time, to reclaim the feeling of excitement he had about the dance when he thought Wednesday wanted to go with him. Things had been fine, at first. The idea might have been the best that he had. Surrounded by lights and music, his friends all dressed up and dancing around him. He’d kept what happened with Wednesday to himself, not wanting to stir anything up amongst his friends. Partially because he was scared of them agreeing with her.
Everyone looked gorgeous and carefree as they moved so effortlessly. Ajax had broken away from Enid for a few minutes to grab Xavier’s hands in his own. Xavier had laughed and let himself forget about everything that had been weighing heavily on his mind. All he could focus on was dancing with his friend, coming out of his own shell in ways he normally didn’t. His heart was racing in excitement as he danced with his friends and tried to just enjoy himself. It had been working well enough until he took a break, glancing towards the entrance as someone new emerged through the doors and into the danceroom.
His throat tightened as he looked at Wednesday standing there, dressed in a black dress and looking as perfectly out of place as she always did. Of course, she showed up wearing black. But his heart dropped when saw Tyler walking in behind her. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, she had really decided to show up with Tyler Galpin of all people? Anger and jealousy began bubbling up inside him so quickly he couldn’t control it.
After everything Tyler had put Xavier through, now he was getting to spend the dance with Wednesday. Xavier had to turn away from the sight in front of him, afraid of how he might react if he didn’t. He really didn’t want to cause a scene in front of everybody. The rest of the night seemed to drag by and he contemplated just leaving. He wanted to so badly, but he felt like he needed to prove that he could handle this. Even as he kept staring at them throughout the night. At least anger and jealousy were something for him to feel.
The numbness was definitely gone. He couldn’t decide whether this was better than feeling nothing at all. But he couldn’t control his feelings as he watched Wednesday dance. She seemed to let go of herself in a way she never had before and Xavier wondered if it would’ve been the same if she went with him instead. His eyes stayed fixed on her, eyebrows furrowing when he noticed droplets of red falling through the air and hitting her skin.
His mind couldn’t catch up to what was happening before everyone was freaking out around him. People knocked into him and pushed past him, almost throwing him off balance as he fought to keep himself upright. It was difficult to pull himself to the exit, but he figured the door would be where it was safest. His spot kept him away from the madness going on as people pushed each other around on the dancefloor. There was too much going on, but his eyes still managed to find Wednesday. Her eyes were frantic as she ran from the room and he thought she looked almost afraid, but that wasn’t like her.
He couldn’t see her being afraid, especially not by blood raining down from the sky. It seemed like something that would excite her if anything. Worry got the better of him and he followed her outside as well. Despite everything, he wanted her to be okay. His mind was on autopilot as he chased after her, not wanting her to be alone out in the dark. She was a lot faster than he gave her credit for, already at the treeline of the forest before he was descending the front steps and he only pushed himself to move quicker as he watched her.
As he stepped into the forest, he realized he should’ve made a plan before he blindly followed her. The forest was incredibly disorienting and the darkness didn’t help at all. Everything blended together and he couldn’t figure out where she had gone. He heard her shout Eugene’s name somewhere in the distance. It was almost impossible to tell where her voice was coming from, but he followed the direction he thought it was in. He moved quickly towards the center of the woods and tried his best to dodge every obstacle in his path.
Adrenaline was pumping through him so badly that he couldn’t even bring himself to care as branches scratched his face as he ran. All he could focus on was finding Wednesday and making sure she was alright. There were no signs of her as he disappeared deeper into the trees and her voice seemed to be farther away when she yelled again. He stopped when he heard leaves crunching behind him and he spun around to see who was approaching. Almost as soon as he began to turn, someone was crashing into him. It seemed they had been running as fast as they could at him, body colliding into his in the dark and knocking him down.
Chapter 3: Like Roses And Clovers
Chapter Text
Xavier couldn’t breathe as someone ran into him and knocked him onto his back. They were warm as they landed on his chest. His eyes were frantic as they tried to adjust to the darkness and how close the other person was. But after a few seconds, he realized that it was Tyler who had run into him. That realization raised more questions than it answered. He looked at Tyler, red dripping down all of the man’s features.
The heavy weight of Tyler on top of him was a grounding force, making him snap back to reality a bit. He had been running on autopilot as he chased after Wednesday, but now, he was forced to think more clearly about this. Xavier’s eyes met Tyler’s, staring him down. Part of him wanted to simply shove Tyler away. But he stayed still, waiting for Tyler to say something and explain himself. When it was clear Tyler wouldn’t say anything, Xavier went to speak first, but he was cut off by lips pressing to his own.
It was a quick kiss and Tyler pulled back almost immediately to watch Xavier’s reaction. Xavier wasn’t sure how to react, he was sure surprise was present in his features. For a few moments, he just looked at Tyler. Blood from the dance in streaks down his face and drenching his clothes. It was off putting to say the least, Xavier couldn’t imagine he looked much better. He felt filthy as blood coated every inch of his skin, drying and itching in some places.
As they stared at one another, hands gripped Xavier’s thighs and pushed them apart a bit, pressing their bodies even closer together. Xavier felt his heart racing and threatening to beat out of his chest. One of Tyler’s hands stayed on his thigh and he had never expected that to feel as nice as it did. Maybe it had just been too long since someone had touched him like this. It left him feeling needy for any attention he could get.
He had to admit he wasn’t in the best headspace either. Alcohol and hurt fueling his desire to be close to someone, no matter who it was or what the situation was. Maybe that was why he found himself reaching up to Tyler. One hand laced into his wet hair and pulled him down for another kiss. It was less hesitant from both of them now, feeling confident as they realized the other wanted this just as much as they did.
Tyler’s head was spinning as he kissed Xavier deeper this time, tasting champagne still clinging to the other’s mouth. It had been enough to leave Xavier feeling floaty back at the dance and it seemed able to get Tyler drunk now. He was sure that was just how he felt from kissing him, though. Feeling bolder, one of Tyler’s bloodied hands pressed beneath the hem of Xavier’s shirt, having to mess with it a bit before he could get it untucked enough.
Red hands pressed against Xavier’s soft skin, marking his sides. Xavier felt an odd sense of deja vu as he laid against the crisp leaves of the forest floor. It took everything in him to push those feelings aside and try to just enjoy himself. But when Tyler pulled away from the kiss, he moved to kiss along Xavier’s neck instead. When he started to suck a mark on the delicate skin there, it pushed Xavier over the edge and panic rose in his throat.
“Tyler. Wait,” Xavier breathed out, hands finding the front of the man’s shoulders. Tyler pulled away from his throat and looked at him as though he was waiting for an explanation. And honestly, Xavier didn’t even know what he wanted. He shifted under the look Tyler was giving him, knowing he had to say something. “I’m worried about Wednesday,” He finally murmured out and it wasn’t a complete lie, he supposed.
“Hey, it’s alright. You know she can handle herself,” Tyler assured him and placed a quick kiss to his lips before moving back to his neck. Xavier couldn’t really argue with that, too distracted to do so even if he wanted to. It had been a long time since anyone had touched him like this and he hadn’t realized how much he’d actually missed it. He’d always sought out people who would be affectionate with him; he just never assumed that one of those people would end up being Tyler Galpin, but he supposed weirder things happened.
As much as he hated to admit it, Xavier wanted this. He felt bad for it, but he couldn’t help it. Tyler should be back at the dance with Wednesday and he himself should have continued looking for her out in the dark trees. But as hips rolled against his, he decided to just take advantage of this situation the best he could. Xavier’s hands moved away from where they rested, arms wrapping around Tyler’s shoulders instead as he resigned himself to just trying to enjoy this. It seemed like both of them could benefit from it.
Xavier didn’t have to worry over seeming desperate, Tyler acted like he needed this just as much. Teeth sank into the side of Xavier’s neck lightly and his whole body felt like electricity had gone through it. His shivering and squirming didn’t slow Tyler down for even a second. Kisses and bites were pressed along his skin whenever Tyler felt like it, his body weight keeping Xavier from moving too far away from him. It hit him just then how trapped he actually was. Between the ground and Tyler, there was nowhere to escape to.
He didn’t want to escape too much as Tyler continued rocking their hips together, seeming to get lost in his movements. Xavier could feel that Tyler was already half hard against him, not taking much before his body was reacting to the situation. Maybe he was even more desperate than Xavier was and that thought relaxed him a bit. One hand curled into Tyler’s hair, pulling him away from his neck to press their mouths together instead.
He had always liked kissing more than other people did, being able to spend hours just kissing whoever he was with. Tyler was proving to be no exception. It was easy for Tyler to take control of the kiss, licking into Xavier’s mouth again. Red paint smeared across their skin even more, evidence of what they had done, but Xavier couldn’t bring himself to care. He could deal with explaining himself and where he had been later.
Tyler’s hands continued exploring the other’s body, pressing deeper beneath his shirt and seeming to feel up every inch of skin he could. Each touch against Xavier’s nerves felt like a small electrical shock coursing through him. The pleasure only amplified when Xavier realized he was getting hard as well. The constant rocking against him mixed with the kissing and gentle hands had finally caught up to his body. Everything was happening so fast that he couldn’t quite keep up with it all. But Tyler didn’t seem thrown off by it, his hips and his hands moving at a steady pace that Xavier couldn’t even find a rhythm in.
He knew he should get up and leave, should pull himself off of the ground and go back to what he was doing. But it had been so long since he had been held like this, and Tyler was beyond shameless in the way he touched Xavier. It was like he felt no remorse or reason to hide how desperate he was to touch him. His hands found Xavier’s waist and settled there, using the grip to force his hips up a bit more. Xavier’s long legs went to wrap around Tyler’s waist to be in a more comfortable position and it seemed to appease the other man.
“You are so hot. Just keep being good for me,” Tyler’s words made Xavier jump, thrown out of his own head suddenly. The man’s voice was low and rough, and it sent shivers up Xavier’s spine. He seemed to whisper so close to Xavier’s ear that he could feel the words. What Tyler actually said made his chest tighten and his body feel warmer as well. He loved praise, he loved feeling desired and like he was someone people were proud to be with.
“I’ll be good,” Xavier promised and his own voice sounded unrecognizable to him. He sounded so quiet and resigned to his position, nothing like he usually was and especially not around Tyler. But the assurance he would be good also didn’t sound like him. That was just the side that Tyler was seeming to bring out in him. He wanted Tyler to keep thinking he was good, a part of him needed it if he was being honest. His legs tightened around Tyler and he forced him down even closer to his body. The shift in friction was enough to make them both delirious as their bodies were flush against each other. “There you go,” Xavier smiled as Tyler moaned quietly, ducking his head to hide it in Xavier’s shoulder.
But the movement backfired against Xavier as well. He whined at the newfound friction, being pressed firmly against Tyler as he rocked against him. The pleasure was inescapable and bordering on overwhelming as he clutched at Tyler desperately. In the new position, Xavier could feel every inch of Tyler pressing against him. He shivered at the feeling. He’d never expected that Tyler would be so big and it made him a bit nervous. But more than anything, he was excited and wanted their clothes to be out of the way.
“I wish I’d brought lube,” Tyler mumbled as if he could read Xavier’s mind and the words did something to the man underneath him. Despite his nerves, he wished the same thing. He wanted Tyler more than he’d wanted anything else in a while. “I’d give anything to fuck you like this,” The next roll of Tyler’s hips felt firmer than the others had and Xavier knew he was getting just as desperate. Any other time, Xavier would feel embarrassed by how needy he was now, letting Tyler dry hump him in the middle of the forest.
All he could focus on was how good it felt, though. He would have all the time in the world to feel guilty and ashamed later. For now, he just wanted to try and enjoy himself. It seemed like they both needed this from one another. Lips ghosted against his jaw and he tried to focus on keeping himself in the moment. His mind followed every brush of Tyler’s lips, every subtle squeeze of his hands, each shiver and small movement of his body against Xavier’s. He was pretty sure this moment would be burned into his memory.
“I want to feel you,” Xavier murmured out. Tyler wanted to be snide and tell Xavier he was already touching him, to point out that Xavier’s hands had been running all over his shoulders and curling into his hair. But they both knew what he actually meant. And God, Tyler wanted it just as badly as Xavier did. He didn’t have it in him to tease him about this, not right now anyway. If they got this chance again, Tyler would take his time and break Xavier down. “Please,” The word was barely audible, but it was enough for Tyler.
Tyler pushed himself off of Xavier and leaned back as much as he could. The distance between them made both men irritated, but it was a necessary step to get more of what they wanted. Tyler’s hands moved as quickly as they could. For a moment, he fumbled with the layers of his clothes and tried to work his way out of them while Xavier watched his every movement. He suddenly regretted how difficult he had made this for himself, but in his defense, he didn’t think he would be stripping in front of someone tonight.
After what seemed like forever, he had his shirt untucked and his pants unbuttoned. He didn’t bother trying to remove his pants. Instead, he just pushed them and his boxers down far enough for what he wanted. Normally, he would feel self-conscious with someone watching him as intently as Xavier was. The other man seemed mesmerized by him, though. Xavier’s eyes followed as Tyler finally pulled his cock out and wrapped a hand around himself.
He’d never had a ton of experience with guys, but Tyler had to be the nicest he had seen, both in person and in the videos he watched. As he suspected, Tyler was almost intimidatingly well-endowed. He sat at seven inches, at least. There was a bit of girth to him as well, cock sitting heavily in his hand and Xavier briefly wondered what it would be like to go down on Tyler. Another time, his mind assured him. Tyler looked as desperate as he acted too. He was fully hard, his tip was a deep red and leaking profusely.
“Come here. Lay down,” Xavier sounded out of breath as he shifted a bit, leaving room next to him for Tyler. With a small nod, Tyler was rolling over and letting himself lay on the forest floor next to Xavier. He wasn’t sure where this was going, but he was excited to find out. His curiosity was soon satiated as Xavier moved over him. Both of Xavier’s thighs spread over one of Tyler’s and he rested himself there comfortably. Tyler let out a tiny noise as he could feel Xavier’s own hardness pressing into his thigh. “I want you to feel good,” Xavier murmured and spit into his hand before wrapping it around Tyler’s cock.
“Please,” It was Tyler’s turn to beg at the feeling of being touched by someone else. Xavier’s fingers were long and his hand was warm as it enveloped Tyler’s cock. The movements were off and a bit uncoordinated, but Tyler wasn’t going to complain when he had Xavier’s hand on him. He whined and felt his hips jolt involuntarily when Xavier’s thumb rubbed over the head of his cock, spreading the wetness there. Between the spit on Xavier’s hand and the amount of precum gathering, the movements were slick enough. “A little harder,” Tyler murmured after a moment of letting Xavier do his own thing.
Tyler reached out and placed his own hand over Xavier’s, tightening Xavier’s grip on him. He knew Xavier was probably nervous about hurting him, but he knew he could take it. Still holding Xavier’s hand, he stroked himself at a slow and steady pace. It felt so much better now that he was being held more firmly. When he let go of the other’s hand, Xavier did his best to stay how Tyler had put him. His hand moved on its own and Tyler’s head tilted back against the ground, eyes falling closed as he enjoyed the feeling.
“You’re so big,” Xavier finally broke his own silence, hips rocking down against Tyler’s thigh to get some stimulation of his own. If Tyler noticed, he didn’t comment on it. “You feel nice in my hand,” He thought it sounded stupid when he said it, but he could’ve told Tyler anything and the other man would’ve gone along with it at this point. Tyler smiled a bit at the words, trying to listen to Xavier rambling above him.
“Yeah? It’s all for you,” Tyler assured and it was mostly the truth, Tyler couldn’t remember the last time he’d let anyone else touch him like this. “I meant what I said about wanting to fuck you earlier, you know. You’d look perfect riding me,” The words made Xavier’s motions speed up, hips moving a bit faster and his hand quickening from the slow pace Tyler had set. Tyler groaned when fingers tightened around his head when they moved up a bit, the feeling sending jolts of pleasure through him. “I might start with you sucking me off, though. I want to see how pretty your mouth is when you’re not running it,” He said.
Xavier shivered and felt close to losing it at those words. He wanted all of it so badly and he worried if he’d ever get a chance like this again. But he didn’t want to get caught up in his own head. He wanted to just enjoy this moment as long as they had it. It was his turn to press a kiss to Tyler’s neck, choosing to fight the urge to bite down on the skin and leave a mark there. His hand moved a bit quicker before slowing down along Tyler’s cock; he did this multiple times without ever developing a pattern that Tyler could catch onto and Xavier reveled in each moan it pulled from the man underneath him.
“Stop teasing me,” Tyler was trying to sound assertive, but it came out more whiny than anything else. Xavier smiled as his hips never stopped rocking down against Tyler. It felt ridiculously good and he didn’t know how much longer he could hold on. His hand never stopped moving. After a few long moments of teasing Tyler, he decided to have mercy on him. “Thank you,” He murmured out as Xavier set a better pace.
“You’re going to fuck me next time,” Xavier said as if it was simply a fact. But Tyler didn’t seem to be in any position to argue with him, not that he wanted to. “I’m going to tease you just like this before letting you fuck me until all I can think about is you,” He told him and he could tell his words were affecting Tyler more than he realized they would. His hips rocked into Xavier’s hand with reckless abandon, unable to feel any shame about how desperate he must look. He knew Xavier wouldn’t judge him either way.
Both of them fell silent for a few minutes following. The only sounds between them were their own quiet moans and heavy breathing as they both chased after their own orgasm. Xavier flinched when Tyler suddenly came. The man hadn’t been able to give him any warning, the feeling hitting him so suddenly that it had taken even himself by surprise. Honestly, he was surprised he had lasted as long as he did with how pent up he had been lately. He groaned as Xavier’s hand continued working him through it gently.
The sticky wetness made the slide over Tyler’s cock even slicker and he was quickly bordering on overstimulation. Everything felt so good and the feeling of someone besides himself touching him was almost too much. He waited it out as long as he could before pushing the hand away. Xavier didn’t fight him on this and simply took his hand off. Any other time, Xavier would complain that the feeling on his hand had been gross.
“Let me finish you now,” Tyler offered and Xavier was surprised by how quickly the man was asking to help him out. He had always imagined guys would either leave him to handle himself or they would need a bit after getting off to even consider it. But immediately, Tyler was sitting up the best he could and looking so genuine that it made Xavier’s chest tighten. Either way, Xavier shook his head as his cheeks flushed a light pink.
“I don’t need you to,” Xavier told him. “I already came,” He explained, sensing Tyler would argue that he knew he didn’t need to, but he wanted to. It was a little embarrassing how easily he’d finished, but it had felt good and watching Tyler crumble in his hands was satisfying enough on its own. Xavier offered him a reassuring smile, trying to promise the favor truly was repaid already. He didn’t have time to think before Tyler was pulling him in for one last kiss before they would have to go their separate ways again.
It was softer and slower than all the other ones had been. Neither of them were rushing. Xavier supposed they took their time with this one because they knew their encounter would be over shortly after they were done kissing. But once they broke apart, Tyler held onto one of Xavier’s cheeks and rubbed his thumb over it, inadvertently smearing red across the soft skin there. Redness from his own hands mingled with what was still wet on Xavier’s cheek. He was broken from his thoughts when Xavier rubbed his dirty hand on Tyler’s pant leg.
“Hey!” Tyler protested with no real bite in his voice. Xavier was already pushing off of the ground and standing over Tyler. He muttered a quick word about how he would see Tyler around before readjusting himself and disappearing into the forest again. “Asshole,” Tyler muttered after him, but didn’t speak loud enough for anyone else in the forest to hear. For a few long moments, he laid there and considered what had just happened. But he had to quickly recompose himself, not wanting anyone to stumble upon him like this. He really did hope he would see Xavier around, preferably sooner rather than later.
