Kyoutani does not like kids at all. He hated being around them because their loud and difficult to deal with. But Kageyama Ayaka made her way into his life easily.
When he first met Tobio, he knew he wanted him to be his last. He befriended him first, which is easy because Tobio is kind, too kind, and sweet. He learned he had a kid when he got the courage to ask him on a date.
"You...have a kid?" Tobio nodded, nervous about what will Kyoutani will say.
"But you don't have a partner, right?" Kyoutani was relieved when Tobio said no.
"Then it's okay" Tobio looked at him, surprised.
So for their first date, Tobio will bring his daughter.
Kyoutani was waiting in front of Tobio's condo, fidgeting as he was nervous. It's their first date, and he doesn't want to ruin it by not liking his kid. Kyoutani stood rigid when he saw Tobio walking towards him with a child in his arms.
"Hi." the child turned to look at Kyoutani.
His breath was taken away. The little girl looks like Tobio, with a mole on her left eye, and his blue eyes are brighter.
"Ayaka, say hi" Tobio whispered in Ayaka's ears, which made her giggle.
"Hi Kenken!" Tobio's eyes widened when he heard what Ayaka called Kyoutani and how his child was reaching for him. Kyoutani looked at Tobio reluctantly, and when he saw him nod, he carried the child. Tobio giggled when Ayaka carried Kyoutani's head.
"It tickles hehe" Kyoutani smiled and leaned to Tobio.
"She's beautiful." Tobio blushed when he saw him radiant and soft, a first with someone like Kyoutani.
"Thank you for letting me meet her."
"No, thank you for wanting." Kyoutani shrugged and opened the back seat door.
"Okay, ready for the day?" He asked Ayaka, which nodded several times, smiling at him. He gently ruffled her hair before he sat her and closed the door. He opened the passenger seat and gestured to Tobio.
"Ready?"
"Yeah!"
