D1 A new Girl Joins
Dorothy has really been enjoying the support group though nowadays it's more like a social meet-up. Luz and Anne make Dorothy feel like an aunt and it was nice having a friend her own age with Alice. Usually, conversation flows freely during meetings and it has a cheerful atmosphere, but today's meeting was a bit awkward. This was because today there was a new person. This person has abnormally pale skin, white hair, and has yet to open her eyes. She wears an outfit made of materials that Dorothy could not recognize and she looks rather pretty if Dorothy says so though not as much as her wife. Normally a new person would not make them that awkward however the new person refuses to speak. Even when Dorothy and the others try to include her she did not speak. It made for an extremely awkward meeting. Dorothy still enjoys it as the meeting seems to be the only time Alice would willingly meet up with them.
When the meeting was over it was time to leave Dorothy and the new person left in the same way while Luz and Anne went in a different direction. The new girl and Dorothy journey in silence until another girl approaches the new girl. This girl is barely wearing anything only a tube top and short shorts and looks about 14 though this doesn't necessarily mean anything given how Dorothy looks herself. This young-looking girl then says "White are you done yet? Vampy's probably missing us."
Dorothy could not hear what 'White' says in response as it was extremely quiet and then the pair disappears right in front of Dorothy. She doesn't really think much of it after all, they are all part of the otherworld adventurer support group. Afterward, Dorothy arrives back in her and Ozma's apartment. For the rest of the night, the two watched a movie together.
Al1 An Interaction at the Supermarket
Alice forgot to buy food for herself before yesterday's meeting so she had to go shopping. Alice was not happy about this but she did not allow this to be shown on her face. At the store, Alice saw somebody she recognizes. It is the girl who came to the meeting for the first time yesterday. This girl had a kart full of chips and a much of other snack foods and was still shoveling more junk food in. Alice ignores the girl as she was not one to judge others' eating habits. Alice herself bought a bag of rice, eggs, and some hamburger meat. Enough food for the week. When she needed to check out Alice ends up behind the girl. When the girl had to pay Alice sees the girl producing money out of thin air, or pulling it from another dimension Alice couldn't really tell, and handing it over saying no words.
Unlike the girl, Alice could not get through paying without a conversation as her grandmotherly visage made people want to talk to her. While on her way home Alice starts going over the plan for her lesson later today. The class was going to analyze the 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' as an example of early American children's books and it's impact. It was a bit strange to read the book after meeting Dorothy but she didn't want to redo her lesson plan.
An1 An Accidental Spy.
Anne walks into a local cafe. She and Luz were meeting here to study together for their history class. Luz was not here yet and just texted Anne that she would be a bit late. Anne decides to relax with a pastry until Luz arrives. While sitting there Anne's attention was captured by the entrance bell and she looks there to see if it was Luz who has arrived. It was not Luz but it was somebody that Anne recognizes. It was the pale girl who didn't say a word and with her was a young-looking girl who Anne could sense immense power from. Anne watches the pair sit in a booth and start talking to each other. Well, it sounds more like a monologue as she could only hear the young-looking girl but the pale girl was clearly talking as the smaller one was responding to something. At one point the short girl pets the pale girl's head in response, and the pale girl gains a blush and punches the shorter girl. Realizing that she was spying on a date Anne quickly turns away and starts looking at what Marcy and Sasha were talking about. Apparently, Marcy released the first page of her webcomic.
Luz eventually came and they review the various Roman emperors together. Truly an interesting bunch to say the least. After reviewing Luz asks Anne to show off her powers. Anne couldn't really do much anymore. Just speed herself up a bit for a few seconds. This was apparently enough for Luz as she looks impressed. Anne had to leave after that to get on a call with Sasha and Marcy.
L1 So an Introduction at the 2nd Meeting
Luz was just about to arrive at the meeting and is excited for it. She doesn't really have anything she needed to say but it was nice to meet with the group anyways. Luz was the last to arrive as Alice, Anne, Dorothy, and the girl who didn't open her eyes were already there. The group seeing that Luz has arrived they start the meeting with Alice saying. "Looks like we're all here so let's start." Then turning to the closed-eyed girl and counting with. "Would you like to introduce yourself this week? If you don't that's fine."
In a very quiet and nervous voice, the girl says. "I'm White.........or Shiro if you prefer."
Luz, happy that the girl was participating this week, asks. "How did you get to your otherworld? I followed an owl into a doorway."
"I died."
Hearing this the group grew shocked except for Anne who remained neutral. Dorothy fretted over White saying. "Oh no. Are you ok?"
"I got better."
"That's good I'm glad you got better. Also was that scantily clad girl you teleported away with after the meeting last week was that someone from your world?"
Adding on to Dorothy's statement Anne says. "Oh yeah, I saw you and that short girl on a date. Who is she?"
These statements made White somehow even more nervous and stammered out. "We're not dating........... Ariel and I are just friends."
Trying to make the girl less nervous Alice tries to switch the conversation says. "Well, Ms.Shiro what did you do in your otherworld? Did you overthrow a ruler like me? I hear that its an extremely popular outcome."
"Needed to survive........ Got strong......... Met Ariel........ Became a god....... Needed Ariel to smile........ So stared war....... Defeated elves........ Destroyed system......... Saved Sariel........ Everyone happy now."
Without thinking, Luz blurts out. "I don't know sounds pretty gay to me."
This just made White more nervous again as she says. "Not gay......... Even though D and Ariel are attractive....... Mera is good-looking."
"You can find a dude good-looking and still like girls. God knows I do. Also, most people don't start a war to see their 'just a friend' smile."
Dorothy adds on with. "It's ok if you didn't realize. It took me forever to realize I liked girls."
Lastly Alice chimes in with advice as usual. "Just look at it this way. If you were a boy and nothing else changed would you want to be in a relationship with with this Ariel."
"Yes."
"Well, then there's your answer. You probably like girls and you should talk about this with Ariel."
The conversation ends with Anne saying. "I wonder if being gay is like a prerequisite for visiting another world. It certainly has happened suspiciously offen." For the rest of their time together the group just talked about boring school stuff.
Interlude An Evil God and the Guardian have a Discussion
A normal-looking Japanese schoolgirl is laying in a bean bag with a bored expression on her face while playing a video game on the TV and the room is full of trash from disposable food waste. In between the TV and the girl sits a giant cat with fittingly large wings. The girl ignores the cat and continues to play the video game without her skill dropping whatsoever. Getting tired of waiting the cat says. "I would never have expected to find the infamous D on Earth. I don't believe you are supposed to be here."
"I am just viewing something interesting. I don't believe you are supposed to be here either, this isn't your planet after all."
"I got permission to come to Earth to watch my successor. I know you didn't get any such permission. Also, that little godling felt a lot like you. Should I report you for creating an unreported god and trespassing on Earth to the council?"
In response to this D lets out a wave of evil energy paralyzing the previously calm Guardian and says. "You will not be reporting this. That would ruin the fun after all." D then forcefully removes the cat from her living space and continues playing her game like nothing happened.
