Nathaniel entered the cot he shared with Alexander, holding a candle firmly in his hand. It had been a long day of studying non-stop, for both of them, and he just could'nt take It no longer. He dropped his own weight on the imrovised matress made of a soft blanket and some fine bed sheets, which they shared each night. He heaved a sigh, and looked at the ceiling of the tent. Alexander laid beside him, he had barely noticed his lover's presence, fue to his tired mind.
"Welcome back, love. Did you have a hard day?" Alexander spoke in his usual leveled and soft, Sporting voice. Nathaniel closed his eyes and shook his hands to vent his emotions. The affection he had towards Alexander was beyond what you'd usually see between two men, what laid between them really was love.
"Yes I did. It was hell..." He turned to face Alex, and looked at his endearing eyes for a moment, before drifting his gaze towards his admirable Lips. He lifted his arm to caress Alex's cheek, rubbing his thumb in loving circles , over and over.
"I managed to finish five essays out of the ten I had to do, plus I found enough motivaron in reading your letters again that I felt like I could touch the sky with my bare hands." He spoke quickly, without really thinking his words over at all. He noticed Alex's gorgeous face darken with a pinkish blush. Nathaniel snuggled Closer to him and pecked his lips, just as lovingly as he always did. Everything he did in Alexander's company just filled him with hoy and renewed adoration for the man himself.
They both giggled in unison after the kiss, as the always did. Nathaniel kicked his legs with happyness.
"Another." Alex asked. Nathaniel obliged, and they shared another kiss, this one being slightly longer than the former. Alex tangled his hand on Nathan's curls to drago him Closer, relishing in the feeling of butterflies he felt.
"Another." He repeated. Nathaniel genuinely smiled with hoy and their lips met again. They repeated the action for probably Up to five more times. Nathaniel delivered the last kiss with a longer stay, and pulled away. He took a moment to just admire his lover's unique beauty, which matched his intelligence and personality perfectly. Alex dropped his head forward and met Nathan's nose with care. He rubbed their noses together with fondness, and Nathan mimiced the action. They giggled at the simple yet delicate motion that made them oh just so blissfully Happy.
"Have I ever told you that I love you, so so much?" Nathaniel asked, pressing his forehead against Alex's. His boyfriend keened and laughed with love.
"Yes you have, but I love hearing It again. Don't ever stop." He kisses Nathan's nose, and the man was filled yet again with Joy and pure love for Alex. He quickly searched for his hand, and when he found It, he sloppily intertwined their fingers. A warm feeling filled him Up to the brim, and there he was again, smiling like an idiot. He looked at Alex, and apparently he felt the same. His familiar, heartwarming smile was plastered on his gorgeous face, and Nathan could help but flush Closer to his beloved, to feel him better.
"We shall sleep, it's late." Alex reminded him. Nathan agreed, nodding."You're right. Well..." Nathaniel pulled him Closer with his other hand, reaching by Alex's back and nuzzling him Closer. "Sleep well, my love." He kisses Alex's forehead.
"I love you." Alexander said. They both smiled and made eye Contact for a while. "Love you too." Nathaniel pressed a last kiss to Alex's soft lips, and settled Closer to his warmth, feeling sleep already taking him in. He breathed in the comforting scent of his lover, which only helped him relax further, and finally felt the drowzyness of rest claim him.
