Superior Unit: File 01 — A Summary of the Current State of the Superior Team Initiative — 205X, several months after operation “Cancel Ragnarok”
The Superior Unit Initiative was a program design with the purpose of paramilitary forces tackling extraordinary threats affiliated with the terrorist organization Nocte Sicam [NS] and similar incidents inciting the rise of government anarchy and disestablishment. Seven candidates from various backgrounds of expertise in combat, stratagem, and technology were selected to undergo experimental genetic experimentation.
The results were successful but the randomness of the experiment results halted the expansion of this program to future candidates.
Captain Raphael Rivera y Sanchez was selected to lead the team with Second in Command Cameron Pax as his advisor. The result was several years of pushing back the looking threat ultimately ending with the capture and arrest of [Name Redacted], NS’s leader codename Loptr . As of current writing, the team is currently in talks of following up on the aftermath, including recursions of splinter NS groups and providing relief for areas most damaged as a result of Cancel Ragnarok*.
*Requests for name change of the operation were submitted and repeatedly denied. To quote SiC Cameron Pax verbatim, “We wear spandex and fight supervillains to prevent government and societal collapse. Let us have this.”
Additionally, concerns regarding several members of the Superior Unit’s newborn children have arisen. While Captain Rivera y Sanchez has reassured they will be properly trained in any arising powers, the question remains of what will happen as they mature to adulthood.
