Mozzie sat back and allowed his nerves to settle after playing midwife for Diana in his hideaway below the remains of a burnt-out warehouse. He watched his formidable adversary cradle her newborn son in her arms and croon softly to the mewling infant, “Hush little baby, don’t you cry.”
Suddenly the “Pants Suit” wasn’t so annoying or scary. Instead, she had a mother’s softness that Mozzie could only wish he had once known. Subconsciously, he began humming the next lyrics of the lullaby in his head: “Hush little baby don't say a word. Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird.”
