They say a mark is a symbol for others to know that they belong to others. They belong to others means that no one can claim them as they wished. Based on the rules Alpha, they are physically built, short-tempered and a natural leader followed closely by Beta. Beta is the balance between Alpha and Omega. And lastly, below one is Omega. Their symbols are different and so were their pheromones.
Alpha has the stronger sense and dominant scents. For Beta, they have neutral pheromone so that means that Beta is less harmless. They are the balance between the Alpha and Omega. They cannot release nor smell other pheromones except their very own “Fate Pair”. And for Omega itself, they have sweet and alluring pheromone that Alpha likes to smell and feel addictive to it. It makes others feel like they want to claim them, dominate them since Omega is the weakest of them all. Omega always had a gentle, kind, and sweet personality.
And for the Fate Pair, they always said that Alpha will end up with Omega or Beta will be with Omega and that's it. That’s how traditions come and go. The Alpha always ended up with someone submissive and under them only. They are bound to be the ruler and for pairs, they have to find someone weak so that they can dominate them.
But in this particular case, you will see that all sentences from above can be changed.
It all happens from two packs. One called themselves Dark Moon, as their color is dominantly black and red like thick blood. They like to call themselves like that since they always love to suck each and every blood that their prey has. Rumors said that the leader is a peculiar man who still seeks revenge from other packs and always fights in a chaotic way. And that always causes such ruthless news to other packs so that they fear them a lot.
Beside them, they called themselves Moon Howlers, as they always seek their prey at night and dawn. But what is different is that they always lurk in the dark and catch their prey quietly so that no one knows that their friend or packmates are gone for a few days. Both of them have the same name but different leaders. Both of them are the strongest packs above all. But they decided that separating ways is better for them than bonding together.
All of that because of the two Alpha that don't want to submit to each other. They don’t want to be Vice Leader instead they want to be the Leader of the packs. And that is how they are sort of like an enemy pack, but they don’t war with each other since their ancestors are siblings and they don’t want their packs to hate each other. Instead their ancestors made an announcement that every one year, both packs had to meet each other to get to know each other. Festivals are the solution to bring them to know each other.
But both packs decide that the festival is a place where they battle each other to see who is the strongest of them all. And every festival always has food since that is a thing. And both packs decide again that they will have a battle between food too. Such a childish thing but it is what it is. When their Alpha orders them, they only can follow the order.
And that’s already passed down every festival, every year, every warrior, every child, and every generation. All traditions are always the same as the generation that has passed down. But this generation, well you could say that this generation is naughty, sassy, clumsy generation that tradition will change soon.
Because both leaders hate each other but at the same time develop a weird feeling for each other.

On a peculiar night before the festival, there is always a hunting session between the two packs to decide who is the one who can catch the most. And the battle always happens at noon when the sun starts to sleep and the moon takes their shift at night.
Hearing the wolf howling is a sign that one of them has already caught a big prey. But soon they are getting more and more horrified since both leaders always battle which of them get the biggest and stronger prey. There is a lion scream, a tiger, bear, wolf, and more.
All of the villagers come to watch the shows between their leader’s fight. Since this is a battle, might as well make a bet on who is gonna win this year. And that was heard by the parent’s leader.
The old man started to laugh mockingly at the other man “So Lord Bakumori, might as well you spill some beans of how much you will bet on your son winning this, ha?” After being mocked a bit, the other old man can only see the scenario and his head and start to smile.
“Well as usual, I’ll bet one hundred thousand bits for my son winning this competition!” That gentleness always makes Lord Akuma pissed. How dare he look down at him so easily! So ungrateful?!
“HA! Then I’ll bet four hundred thousand bits for my son to win this competition!” The announcement makes the villagers go more wild as they are trying to support their team while talking bad to each other. Both of the leaders are glaring at each other and feel like electricity crosses their eyes.
On the other side of the camp, gather some both wives from different packs who are now drinking tea as always. Sipping in peacefully. “So Mrs. Bakumori, what do you think about this ‘excitement’ competition that our dear husbands have been battling about.” Elegantly the woman in the red dress drinks the tea beautifully as the other can only look gentle at her friend.
“Well all I can say that our husbands are too childish”
“Oh My God, same! I always thought that too.” Mrs. Akuma smiles at her friends cheerfully as she takes one snack into her mouth. “I always told him that it was unnecessary since our sons are too strong for fighting each other..”
Both of them start laughing as they continue drinking their tea again.
“So Mrs. Aku-”
“Just call me, Candace, dear~”
“Right.. You can call me Sayuri too..” Both of them agreed as Sayuri continued to say “So Candace, are we gonna do a little bet for our sons?”
“Well that will be a great idea, dear..” Candace thinks before reply to her friend “I’ll bet five cookies that my son will win the competition..”
Both of them chuckle as they know that their bet is nothing more than a mere kids bet.
“How about you, Sayuri?”
The other woman think and think harder before then placing the bet “I’ll bet seven cookies that m-”
For now let’s change one point of view so that we can see how they are hunting their poor prey.

The night was still young and so was the warrior itself. The sound of animals running makes the warrior bloodlust for it. It makes them want to claim them more and more. One reindeer starts to run for their life as one hunter starts chasing them. And after several minutes the reindeer can make the hunter lose them. They feel happy and satisfied that their life has been spared. They think that this year the hunter was a bit slower than others since it can get away from them.
The reindeer start to walk as then they feel their legs start to get wobbly and numb. Now it gets panicked as it starts to scream in pain of how the unknown liquid starts to drool down within their blood.
A sound of rustling bushes makes the reindeer panic as they decide to walk wobbly as they can. It is better to die with potion then been torture.
But suddenly, what the reindeer doesn't know is that behind them they have already placed their dagger on their neck. And without a warning, the dagger slit the neck, and let out a fountain of blood.
The deer passed out and died. The man in a hoodie looked down at the deer, and decided to wrap the deer so that it could be claimed.
“I’m sorry little one.” Shoto said as he whispered to the lifeless body “Your death always had meaning behind all of it. So now I want you to sleep peacefully and let me take care of you..” And he decided to give a peck of kisses on the animal's forehead.
Upon wrapping the deer, another person came out from the bushes, wearing his attire without a jacket since he too wanted to blend in the darkness “There you are Tosho! I’ve been looking for you everywhere!”
“You can really drop the codename, there is no one except us, Ike..” Shoto looked at his teammates, Ike Eveland who was now observing the lifeless body of the reindeer. Poor things that they have to kill because of the competition. If it's not, they would really set the reindeer free to be able to meet their family.
But fate is always twisted and dark.
Shoto decided to do the talk since he is curious about what Ike is writing. “Why do you bring a book every time, Ik- Eki?”
“Well for your information, Tosho. It is for my own knowledge since I’m making the poison for the deer to hallucinate for a second before the effect makes all of his body numb. I have to write it, just give me a minute..” Ike said as he proceeded his writing while Shoto looked fondly at his Omega’s friend.
It is cute when Ike writes something, but when he becomes Eki, a sadistic character comes out of nowhere and wants to plunge knives at the prey, always satisfied as he starts to lick the blood on the knives. It is good to watch it for Shoto but Ike said that he had to stop him since the animal's blood was dirty and had many germs on it.
While Ike is still writing and admiring his masterpiece, Shoto decides to mind-link one of his packmates. His Beta, his beloved archer, Shu Yamino.
‘Hikarino or Akarino, if I may ask what your role is today, my friend.’ Shoto can hear a chuckle on the mind link meaning that Shu heard and was about to reply.
‘Today Akarino at your service, Tosho..’ Shu mind linked teasingly as he proceeded to share some information ‘I have caught an eagle and that is worth ten points for us to win!’
‘Eyyy~ nice job, Akarino!!!’ Shoto said happily as Ike too congratulated Shu with a mindlink too. ‘So what is the situation for the other teams?’
‘Well I can see that they too have gathered a lot of prey. And from what I calculated, their points are the same as us..’
Tch.. Shoto annoyed as the others are better like them too. Well that can’t be helped since the son’s leader gathers the strongest Alpha around the world and chooses two of the best Alpha. It’s unfair but Shoto will prove to him that he as an Alpha is much better even without more Alpha on his side.
‘Akarino, I want you to observe his team. Me and Eki will soon meet after he writes some information..’
‘Roger that, Tosho!’
And then the mindlink ended as Shoto now was waiting for Ike to finish his work and bring the prey to their area so it can be counted for the competition.

‘Seems like there is no suspicious move for now..’ Shu said to himself as he wiped his bloody arrow and his pocket knife. He looked down at the scene and saw that the enemies team were talking about some prey that is bigger and harder to catch.
Shu now was sitting on the tree while blending into the dark so the enemies won’t notice his presence. Well there are stupid so of course they cannot fell the presence of a Beta.
Beta don’t smell or let out pheromones, so it is a benefit for Beta to be a warrior in this competition. It is really great to be a Beta since he won’t feel vulnerable like Omega and won’t be able to submit to an Alpha when they release their pheromones.
It is great to be a Beta, but there is loneliness that Shu feels. He feels unknown whether he will or not be loved by someone since he cannot feel any attraction between him and other people.
Beta is neutral

Realizing that he is just daydreaming, Shu decides to take a look at the enemies teams when he realizes that one of the three teammates has gone missing.
And that makes Shu panic a bit. He looked around his surroundings and saw there were only two men under his tree.
‘Shit did they know?!’ Shu looked down and decided it was time for him to come back to his group. He put his arrow on his back and was ready to give a mind link to his team.
‘Tosho, Eki! Red Alert! Red Alert!’ he said as Shoto heard Shu was panicking in his voice 'What's wrong? Give us a hint, Akarino!'
'One of their teammates has gone missing. I think they went your way!'
‘Okay, don't worry Akarino, we are coming to get you!’
And before Shu gave the second information, a man started to be in front of his eyes, smiling devil at him. He just grinned widely as he pulled Shu closer to him. Shu tries to struggle but it only makes the grip on his wrist tighter as Shu feels a strong sense come out from the man. 'He is the one of the top Alpha'
“Got you, sweetheart~” and then both Shu and the man fell from the tree while Shu was being wrapped by the man. It did feel strange why would the man shield him instead of throwing him down and make him injured badly. It is pretty weird and it's getting weirder that the man didn't attend to let him go as if it means that he wants to hold Shu longer.
It makes the beta blush for a while before he realizes that it was a trap and now he is inside of the predator hideout. He looks at his surroundings on spot the Alpha that his Alpha hates the most.
There he was standing arrogantly as his so-called black kimono covered in flowers and the color of blood. The man grinned at him but that didn't make Shu pathetic as he stayed strong. He decides to stare back at him again. He heard a growling beside the man, and decided to take a look, there he was, another Alpha that looked down and only to grin wider than the Alpha himself.
Golden hair, with black shirt while some buttons had been released since the chest was too big to be put on, and a scary tattoo on his chest.
He forgot that there is one Alpha that he forgot to mention, but it seems there is no need since now the other one already pushed him down on the ground while both of his wrists were grip tighter than usual. Shu cannot see what the figure looks like, but he can actually see a glimpse of shadow that the Alpha above him wearing a so-called Fox hat. He then hears the Alpha above him chuckle as then his hot breath starts to move closer to his ears "Seems like we got the good one, brother~" said the man in a fox hat as his eyes travel down to the certain archer's body. The man observed the beta and noted that Shu has a delicate body. And what is better, the man had a tiny waist which suited him perfectly.
Shu feels a hand on his waist as he can only whimper a bit. He hopes that others won't notice things. He surely will kill this Alpha after being released.
"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue~" The man purred as he tried to smell Shu's sense, which doesn't make sense. Shu doesn't release any pheromones, but why did this man sniff around and start traveling down to his neck with his nose?
Shu tries to struggle more and this time it works. He reversed the position as he was then on top of the Alpha grinding him a bit which made the Alpha grunted.
Now seeing the man closer, he can see the man wearing all oranges color and he can clearly see those clear blue eyes staring deep at his purple one. It makes him shy as he could tell that the Alpha was attractive. To anyone expecting a Beta like him.
And after two mistakes, Shu feels there is a hand clutching his neck. 'Shi- Not again?!' he cannot breathe as the hand starts to press more power. He can feel his face go pale as he hears a growl under him.
“Kuro, stop choking him!” Rias growled as others didn't listen to him, instead choking the poor Beta more.
“What? I thought he liked it!” He said as he looked at the Beta who stared sharply back at him. Still Luca thinks that this person had a gut to stare back at the Alpha so sharply.
Vox can only look unamused at the scene since it was his boy that was caught in the trap, instead it was his trusty partner, who always stayed by his side. He takes a deep breath and starts to sense there is someone who comes their way.
Then it clicked. The sense he was looking for is here. His rival is here. Ready to rescue his partner. Ready to meet him in a fight.
Golden eyes start to shine brightly as he hears a rustle on the bushes. And with no two seconds, came the leader of his rival, Shoto.
“Get Away From Him!” Shoto growls at Vox while his dagger is perfectly close to Vox's neck. He does not flinch, instead he just smiles sadistically.
“Well speak of the devil, my dear..” He stare at those purple eyes before then continue to talk “I didn’t know you miss me a lot, Tosh- or should Shoto~”
“Don’t you dare call my name as if we were friends!”
“Well I do want to be more than friends. But only you submit to me, and I’ll think about it!”
“How about I kill you and then I’ll submit to you!” Shoto laughed sarcastically.
“Aw baby, I bet you’ll be sad that I’m gone since no one cannot do you as I do~”
“You-”
The conversation between them had been cut off as suddenly Vox heard one of his friends shout. He turned around and saw that Luca was being strangled by some unknown Omega. Vox can only laugh.
“You really do something Shoto..” after saying that he commands all his Alpha to let the enemies down while still holding Shoto back to his friends.
Luca let his hand go as Shu now can break freely but still his waist was trapped under Rias’s hands. When Rias saw the Beta try to release himself, he let him for now since the fun can be later at the festival.
And as for Ike, he stared deathly at Luca who already released Shu’s neck. He really wants to slit his throat and start a war between the two packs. He really should kill this man and ask Shoto to kill that man too. But when he saw Shu was now no longer at the other man’s lap, he released the tall man and went to Shu to see if he was hurt or not.
‘Was’ is the word for Ike since now he cannot go to Shu as the tall man holds his wrist and turns him around so that he sees what the tall man looks like. Golden hair that was bright like the sun, pale skin but still handsome. As for the clothes Ike noticed that the man was a bit inappropriate since he shirtwas too revealing and he can totally see the black tattoo on that big chest.
“Eki…eki it’s been a while~” Luca sniffed the sweet aroma that was coming from Ike. “How is my sweet blue poppy going on..”
And that makes Ike growl but in Luca ears it is music on in his ears. He couldn’t help but still adore the Omega a lot even though they are from different packs. He looks cute and Luca can’t help but stare deep at Eki’s yellow green eyes. Ike can feel those purple eyes start to get darker, but decide to stare back at him as he doesn’t want to lose.
As for Shu who was still protecting himself from getting cornered by the fox hat man. He is not afraid of him at all. But remembering that time, he really really wanted to kill this Alpha that was named Rias he thought.
Suddenly a chuckle came from Rias as Shu just continued looking at him cautiously. Both of them start staring deeply as the clear blue staring deep at those purple ones.
“Like what you see~” Mysta flirted as Shu began to growl. “Now..now take it easy. It is clearly your fault for spying on us..”
“From what I remember, there is no such thing as spying against the rules..” Shu replies coldly but Rias doesn’t mind it all.
He thought that the Beta is cute but not so open up.
“Well I guess, spying on you isn't against the rule too.. How about I take you out after this event and get to know me better~”
“You Wish! “ And that makes Shu growl how dare this Alpha look down at him. He really wants to put his arrow on the man’s leg and see if he can beg or not.
And that's the same as Ike and Luca where Shu is staring at Mysta with full of anger while others are staring to admire the cat that was hissing at him.
On the other hand, there is Vox who still looks down at his rival and can only smile as it makes Shoto get angrier. But what the boy didn’t realize is that Vox 's hands had already traveled down to the dagger that Shoto was holding and quickly stole it.
“Hey, give it back!” Shoto growled as Vox just smirked at him. It is fun to tease the small Alpha as he is just easy to change expressions.
“If I say no, what would you do?” Shoto tried to take his dagger but unfortunately Vox lifted it higher as he cannot take it since his body wasn’t the same height as his rival.
Seeing the man struggle makes Vox’s heart melt as he really wants to tease this Alpha until he can submit properly to him.
“I’ll give you this dagger back if you cannot beat me in anything..”
“Ha- I'd rather you kill me than saying those cowardly things!!”
And that's how both teams were too distracted at each other, forgetting their main reason in the first place. As if the forest knew that it was time to stop them for whining and fighting something that doesn’t solve anything, it released the grand prize of the competition.
All six men heard the growl and the heavy rustle around them. Shu and Ike decide to go place with Shoto while the two other Alpha went to Vox to shield their master. And there it is, the grand prize of the competition arrives itself in front of them.
Vox looks at Shoto as he speaks loudly “So wanna bet who is going to get that price?”
“It’s definitely not you of course!” Shoto grips his dagger tighter so that he can be the one who kills the creature first.
“Well I like to see if you are faster than me!” and just then Vox was gone out of Shoto’s sight as he realized the other man had already approached the creature faster than him.
He ran quickly so that he wouldn't lose to those arrogant Alpha.
He will not let Vox win.
Not in front of his eyes!
