When Theo woke up that morning, Liam wasn't next to him.
He yawned, looking at the watch.
It was quite late, Liam was already at school.
He had slept a lot, most likely because during the night he had woken up with morning sickness.
For once, he thanked his boyfriend's heavy sleep, he certainly didn't want him to find out like this.
Today Theo would tell him.
He got out of bed and went downstairs, meeting Jenna, who was preparing a hot herbal tea.
"Good morning, Jenna," he said with a yawn.
"Good morning, dear" the woman answered cheerfully "Finally you woke up" she smiles.
Theo nodded, going to sit in his place.
"I didn't sleep very well last night," he admitted.
"Morning sickness are terrible, I know," she said sympathetically, placing the steaming cup on the table. "Take this herbal tea, will make disappear the nauseous," she said.
Theo smiled.
"Thanks, Jenna," he smiled as he grabbed the cup and sipped the tea slowly, being careful not to burn himself.
"When I was pregnant with Liam, at the beginning I too had constant nausea that didn't let me sleep at night" the woman chuckled, sitting next to Theo "They disappeared after the third month"
"Consoling" the chimera said with slight sarcasm "Then what else is there? Should I expect anything else from this pregnancy?"
"Later on you'll start having weirder cravings, it doesn't matter if it's something you usually find disgusting, you'll eat it suddenly finding it appetizing" she said with a chuckle "Oh and you better stay away from coffee, it doesn't to all pregnancies but you know ...better avoided, it could nauseate you"
Theo nodded.
"No coffee, that's fine," he said taking another sip of his herbal tea.
"But one of the best things about pregnancy will be feeling the baby move and kick with his little feet" she said with a smile "Sure, it will hurt a bit, but I assure you it will be worth it, all this will be worth a once you have your baby in your arms"
Theo smiled, placing his hand on his belly, still perfectly flat.
"I feel so much better" he said "Thank you, Jenna"
The woman smiled at him and kissed his forehead.
"It's a pleasure for me" she said with a smile "I told you, you're family now"

When Liam got home, he was amazed when he saw Theo waiting nervously for him on the bed.
"Hey, babe" Liam said approaching and blowing a kiss "Everything okay?"
"We need to talk," Theo said.
Liam looked at him amazed and a little worried.
"You're not break up with me, right?" he asked.
"What? No Liam, of course not" he said gaping at him "What's on your mind? I don't want to break up with you"
Liam breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank God!" he exclaimed "So tell me... what happened?"
“I… am pregnant,” snapped, after some hesitation the chimera.
The werewolf blinked and looked at him.
"Pregnant? You mean...am I about to become a father? Are we about to become fathers?" he asked.
Theo nodded.
Liam hugged him warmly.
"Oh my god, Theo! This is...amazing!" he exclaimed, making the chimera breathe a sigh of relief "Of course, I would have preferred to wait a little longer but I don't care, we will be a family"
"We're already a family, Liam," Theo said with a smile.
"Yes, but with the baby girl we'll be a much bigger family," he said with a smile.
"Baby girl? What tells you it won't be a baby boy?" asked the amused chimera, raising an eyebrow.
"Shut up Theo, I know she's going to be a baby girl" he said excitedly "Our baby girl"
