Late November, Almost Lloyd's Birthday. The Ninja wanted to celebrate his 17th. The only time they celebrated his birthday was on his 13th and 14th since at first they didn't even know Lloyd's birthday and after Lloyd didn't have the time to celebrate. or so he said.
They wanted to make it special for him, last time it was just a "happy birthday" and some quickly made cup cakes. This one would be special. The gifts ,the cake, the decoration. Everything was planned.
"So, we are going to make this Birthday a special one" Kai exaggerated with excitement. They talked about who would make the cake and who would buy the decorations. Ninjago has been quiet recently, no missions since 3 days. They could rest. Hopefully it would stay like that till Greenies Birthday.

The day before his Birthday, Wu called them on a meeting.
"We may seem to have a problem near stixx, there has been a masked person going around" he informed "It appears they have been robbing houses more than a week, checking it out would be a good idea" Wu finished looking back at the Ninja.
They haven't heard about stixx in a while, they haven't planned to go there again. Though they have to make it quick, but it's a quick visit, it couldn't take long to catch that Guy.
.. Right?
They were completely wrong. Everything that could've went wrong went wrong. They took it as a joke, they didn't think that the masked guy was such an asshole. It looked like the Guy had such a hatred against Lloyd, all his aims were at him, all his anger filled looks were at Lloyd, all his words were against Lloyd. Everybody noticed it, it was obvious.
The Guy wasn't some easy opponent, he was way more than that. The Ninja struggled to beat him.
At that moment where the Guy dissapeared and everyone looked around, you could hear a stabbing sound. The Ninja were still confused on what it was, everything was so dark. Jay saw The Guy in the corner of his eye and grabbed his arms putting them on his back and tying him up.
"Got him!" he cheered, while the others were relified. They were happy until they saw Lloyd standing there like he saw a Ghost..
"Lloyd?.." Cole asked for him putting a hand on his shoulder. He turned around with fearful eyes. He was stabbed.. Great. The Knife had been pulled out meaning Lloyd was bleeding out. It wasn't seeable thru his Gi but there definetly was blood on his hands. Cole immediately ripped the bandages from his arms that he used as accessories and started wrapping it around his waist. Nya called Pixal to pick them up, right before his birthday.. how nice.
The Blood stained the Bandages faster than imagined, Zane noticed how scarred he actually he had been. Pixal was still 10 minutes away. The guy with the mask just watched laughing to himself.
"Lloyd, sit down. It's pretty bad" he said trying to keep calm. Lloyd looked he was keeping in tears, he slowly sat down and leaned against the wall.
Jay and Nya dealed with the Guy, he was annoying. They wished that they could help. Lloyd instead. Kai and Cole kind of panicked. Last time(s) this happend he was close to death.
"Can you breath?" Kai asked with concern. Lloyd barely nodded. Lloyd was just focused on staying conscious right now. At this point they ran out of bandages so they had to press down on the stab.
Lloyd knew what was coming, it wasn't the first time. Zane grabbed a fabric and slowly pressed on the wound and apologized. Lloyd didn't really show any reaction to that. He seems used to it by now.. scary.
Nya felt bad, she saw the pain in Lloyd's eyes that the others didn't see. He never gets a break does he?
Eventually Pixal arrived and checked out the situation. He was carried in the Med room. Zane took care of him while the Guy was dropped of to the Police. When he opened his Gi there was dry blood everywhere. Zane took a second after seeing that.
"Is it really that bad..?" Lloyd murmered.
Zane got out his Medical kit "Nothing that I can't clean up" he replied trying to be positive, Lloyd still looked unimpressed.
"You know that I will always be here for you, right?" he assured Lloyd, he wanted to him to feel at home, feel safe and loved. Lloyd didn't say anything but smiled warmly even though he still was in pain.
He got bandaged up, still a bit stiff though. Nya, Kai and the others hugged him immediately.
"Good to see you with us" Cole said. Everyone agreed with Cole, Nobody could imagine themselfs without him. Lloyd felt at home. With them by his side he felt safer than anyone in the world.

Zane informed about what had happend to Master Wu, and made Lloyd a Tea before he went to Bed early. The Ninja sat on the kitchen table, pure silence.
"We are still doing this party, right?" Jay asked lightly.
Well they already bought the gifts, decorations and ingredients so they didn't have a choice either way. Nya decided on working on the party now, she set groups for the decorations and the bakers. She would be the one baking with Zane and Pixal while the others decorate.
They had to do it silently though, that made it alot harder but eventually they did make it done. Plus still 6 hours to sleep, win win situation. The cake was put in the Fridge, and alarms set on 7 o'clock since Lloyd wakes up at 7:30 everyday.

7:41, Lloyd still nowhere to be seen. They been waiting in the living room for Lloyd. Jay was trying to not die out of boredom while waiting. Almost giving up. they heard a door open and everybody scrambled back into their places. Footsteps were heard. Lloyd came into the Living room, he turned on the lights and got surprised but people yelling. He was half awake, he didn't understand what was going on.
He took solid 10 seconds to realize what was going on. everybody waited for his reaction patiently.
His face lit up after finally getting what this was all about. They were relified, he wasn't dissapointed about it. Nya pulled Lloyd into a hug, Lloyd half flinched since she got intact with his wound a bit. Nya apologized and backed away a bit, still hugging him though.
He sat down on the couch next to Zane, he was telling him to open up the presents. His face lit up even more. Seeing him happy was worth every penny. Lloyd opened the first present, it was from Jay. It was comics that he had wanted for a long time. He thanked him and went on to the next presents. It made him realize, how much he felt loved.

They did activities that weren't to insane since his injury did kind of bother him. At the end of the day they went to the kitchen to eat dinner. Lloyd sat on his seat while the others were still up. Suddenly the lights turned off. Next thing he saw was a cake with candles being brought to him. Jay and Cole singing Happy birthday and Kai messing up his Hair. The Cake was set on the table and the others sat down.
"You gotta make a wish" Kai looked at him. Lloyd thought of it. Jay joked about how long it took him to think of a wish. Lloyd turned his head to the candles and blowed it to while the others clapped.
"What did you wish for?" Nya asked him, she actually was curious.
"why should I tell you" he said with sass in his voice. Nya looked offended but laughed it off as well. They at the cake, everyone had little conversations going on. Lloyd smiled warmly and closed his eyes.
Lloyd's wish was for him to be always with his Family. Never to be separated. Lloyd would die for them. He would risk his Life for them.
you know what they say? You can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved.
