Summary:

The impending strain between between the Northern terrains and the Barbarians of south had been momentary been calmed. The reason? of course a new truce. This time the peace, a product of the union between Prince Shouto of the North and King and Chief of the barbarians-Bakugou Katsuki.

Will the peace last, or will this be a disaster for all involved? only time will tell.

Notes:

This is set in a different universe and the pacing may be a little inconsistent at times. the world building is inspired by various pre-existing civilization in real world and fictional works. I'll try my best to translate my vision through writing and drawings. But I'm not the best at both. Also English is not my native language, but I guess I also suck when it comes to my native language.

Anyways I hope you guys like it and if you do please leave a kudos and a comment.

Chapter 1: 'hvít fegurð'

Chapter Text

"Guð blessi hjarta okkar- hvíta fegurð, frelsari fjallanna"

"May god bless our hearts, the white beauty- the saviors of the mountains"

hvíta fegurð: The white beauty, that is what my ancestors named these beautiful mountains I call home.  Mountains half covered in snow, yet brimming with life. Deers with twinkling eyes, snow leopards and their roar thundering, horses that seem unnaturally fair, fast and never seem to get tired.

They say that the snow was blessed by Ullr to hone great powers in its cold touches. Everything in hvíta fegurð seemed exceptional.  You could even grow heirloom tomatoes in inches deep snow if you put the effort.

This land was pure magic and we, my ancestors the first to live here, were similarly blessed.  They say that my ancestors were the first people to discover this untouched heaven. They paid their respects for the blessing this land gave, setting a boundary for give and take. We would plant as many vegetation we would use and take, be it for consumption or housing. Purify grounds that reeked darkness and evil. Help the beings that reside amongst our land.

We called ourself Himura. Our magic cold as our alps and strong like glaciers, we could purify and cleanse harmful auras and magics. To bad we were too kind to be left unscathed.
