His blood was boiling in pure rage.
Kaeya had taken off his blindfold to prove he was telling the truth about his origins.
“Diluc I-I’m sorry… I should’ve told you before-“
His red ruby eyes stared at the “brother”.
“Diluc I-“ tried to say Kaeya before the angry man before he launched himself at him with a flaming claymore.
The burning weapon hit Kaeya in the face right where his eyepatch used to be, the man screamed in pain and fell on his knees dripping blood from his face. He stood up and took his sword out to defend himself.
“Stop I’m begging you brother!”
“Brother? BROTHER?” Diluc was blinded by fury, “DON’T YOU DARE EVER CALLING ME THAT AGAIN.” He then threw another attack to Kaeya’s chest, too quick to be avoided.
“Dil…uc…”
Diluc dropped his weapon as he watched the other fall.
His brother was now laying on the ground.
The fabric of his elegant clothes was burned where the weapon hit.
The slow flow of blood was staining his shirt.
“Archons, KAEYA.” he rushed to the brother.
Kaeya was laying, hair covered his face that was turned to the brother.
Diluc quickly removed his jacked and tried to stop the bleeding.
“Kaeya stay with me, I’m sorry please stay with me.” he moved the dark blue hair from the eyes of the brother as he started panicking.
“It’s okay.” whispered the dying man.
“No it’s not, look at me. Look at me Kaeya.”
Kaeya did not answer.
His eyes stared to loose focus, slowly drifting away from Diluc.
His lips slightly moved:
“Sorry” he failed to say because no sound came out to apologize.
Diluc shook his brother shoulders, that was now staring into the void with eyes half closed. The man gently put his head on Kaeya’s chest, and realized he stopped breathing.
“Brother… what have I done…”
