Alfred was outside, laying on the grass. It was really sunny today, the sun shining very bright. But gladly, the tree Alfred put his head on, covered the sun with its leaves. Alfred was completely relaxed, enjoying this lovely moment. He felt like he was going to fall asleep, until someone was poking him.
"Alfred, hey! Are you there?", Ludwig called. He was waving at his face, trying to get him back to reality.
"...H-huh?! Oh, it's you!", Alfred grinned.
He was so excited to see Ludwig! Alfred couldn't help himself, he just leaned in and put his arms around Ludwig's shoulders. Alfred hid his face in Ludwig's neck - and Ludwig was just so warm! Not a great thing, considering it's summer - but it felt good for Alfred to feel the other man's warmth.
Alfred was incredibly red, oh how he loved this! He couldn't even let go - this was just amazing! And, he couldn't even stop grinning, that's how happy he was..
Ludwig looked at the blond, he was shocked. 'Where did this come from…? Maybe this is how he's showing me his love-...', he thought. But that last part couldn't be true, Alfred is definitely straight. He won't ever love him back…
Ludwig just stopped listening to his mind and hugged the man back. Alfred was so extremely warm - which felt a little bit good…
But he felt that Alfred won't let go anytime soon. Alfred was hugging him so damn tight, he couldn't even breathe. So Ludwig tried to let go of Alfred's embrace, which was a little hard at first due to Alfred's strength - but he soon got out of the hug.
"Huh..? Luddd! I wanna hug you more-!", Alfred frowned. He knows he hugs too tight - but this time he tried to be gentle!
"What's wrong with you today? I don't want a hug…", which was kind of a lie, but it was too warm for God's sake!
Ludwig averted his eyes, looking at the flowers. There were lilies, daisies and dandelions. Ludwig wasn't truly fond of flowers, but he'd love it if Alfred gifted him roses-
'Why would he ever do that? He's not stupid.', Ludwig thought.
"Oh, pleaseee! Ju- just one last hug! Please!", Alfred looked up with pleading eyes that were really hopeful.
Ludwig purposely sat away from Alfred to stop him from touching him..-
'What's wrong with him? I do want that hug, but it's just not the right moment…' He thought.
"...Okay..Fine.", Alfred stopped. He has gotten over the fact that Ludwig doesn't want to hug him, but he just wants- no, needs some attention!
"Hey, hey, hey, Luddy, can we maybe, maybe, um, I-", Alfred stuttered. He was sweating, and he felt confused and blushy. He just wants to do something with Ludwig! With his really really close best friend!
Friend, huh? Alfred always thought they're more than friends - but not like a couple! Like, they're super close! As if they were inseparable!
And Alfred always hugs and sometimes even kisses Ludwig, so aren't they maybe a couple..? Alfred couldn't think anymore - what are they? Friends, boyfriends, maybe even friends with benefits? Wh-
"What is it, Alfred? Calm down. Take your time.", Ludwig assured. He was growing concerned for his friend, Alfred was acting very chaotic and energetic…Sigh.
"I-, I-, ummm…Hey, whatcha say about playing some games!", Alfred said. Finally he can form full sentences.
"Seriously? I don't know how to play games..and to be honest…I rather wanna stay out here in the nature."
"So we'll play games here!", Alfred replied.
"I meant that we should enjoy the nature…"
"Awh, Ludwig…You act like an old man!...And I'd rather enjoy you than the nature.", Alfred smirked. If this doesn't lighten the mood, then he doesn't know what does. He even sat close to Ludwig and put his arm around Ludwig's shoulder.
Ludwig blushed. 'Stupid Alfred..', he thought. But he did chuckle, because it was just so..he didn't know. It's just Alfred. He couldn't explain why he's happy, but it definitely has to do something with Alfred.
"See, I made you smile. Isn't that great?", Alfred grinned. These two were just so happy in this moment, they couldn't stop smiling. They couldn't stop blushing, either. Both of them felt like they were falling more and more in love with each other.
"Hey, dude, I think you're up for a game, aren't ya?", Alfred looked up at him, hoping he would say yes.
"Hmm, I don't know about that, pretty boy.", Ludwig smirked. He needed to get back at Alfred for making him blush.
Alfred blushed red, which wasn't all that surprising. He hugged his legs, and tried to hide his blush, but then Ludwig pushed his legs away and tickled him.
"Ahaha- Hahahahaha! Oh- Ludwig! Ahahahahahaha-! Stopp!!", Alfred laughed loudly, his cheeks even hurt from smiling too much. He was trying to get away from Ludwig's tickling- but he failed.
"Say, are you up for a game, Alfred?", Ludwig smiled. He hasn't felt this happy in a very long time. And seeing Alfred all happy and laughing…is making him feel so cheerful.
'Is this how Alfred feels everyday? If so, please let this last…', Ludwig thought.
"Ludwwiiggg!! Stoppp itt!!", Alfred tried to push him away with his arms, but Ludwig fought back. Eventually, Ludwig did stop, because he didn't want to deal with Alfred's complaints.
"..Heheh. I love ya a lot, Ludwig." Alfred confessed. Finally, he said it. Alfred didn't know if Ludwig would love him back, but he didn't care at the moment. He's just glad to get it out of his chest.
Ludwig blushed for, probably the 3rd time again today. He felt so happy - his love confessing his feelings for him..! Ludwig just has to say it back and they'll finally be a couple..
"I-I…ummm…Well...Ah- eheheh…" Ludwig couldn't stop stuttering. 'For God's sake, it's just 3 words!', Ludwig thought.
"Alfred…I…I…Um…L-love you…..too…", Ludwig confessed. He averted his eyes, not trusting to look at Alfred.
"R-really?! Oh my god!! I've loved you for so long!", Alfred couldn't stop smiling, blushing and telling Ludwig he loves him.
Alfred wrapped his arms around Ludwig and hugs him. He wanted to kiss him, but Alfred didn't want to ruin the mood.
Ludwig hugged him back, even though he complained about it earlier. It doesn't matter anymore more, Ludwig's just glad to be held by his love.
