"I hope you know these aren't the real versions. The real thing is much more complicated." Henry suddenly mumbled as you watched a Disney movie and you held back a chuckle, not wanting to ruin his imagination game.
"Oh yeah?" you answered and looked at Henry, who glanced back at you before smiling.
"Yeah, I have a book... everyone in Storybrooke is a fairytale character, they just don't remember who they are." and then he proceeded to pull out a massive book from his schoolbag and excitedly showing it to you. "This is Regina... she's the Evil Queen."
You sighed and put your hand on Henry's shoulder. "Hey, that's not a nice thing to say about your mother."
"But it's true! But she has her reasons to be evil... it's kind of sad, actually. But she has tried to ruin Snow White's - my grandmother's - happiness for so many times that I don't like her that much anymore."
"And who's Snow White?"
"Mary Margaret, my teacher."
And from that, he went on and on, telling about all the residents and revealing their secret fairytale identities. On the other hand, you were impressed how good Henry's imagination was for a boy of his age, but on the other hand... the way he talked about those characters and how they're part of Storybrooke residents, kinda made you wary too. What if he had some kind of a mental illness hiding in his head?
"Oh, I almost forgot! You're one of them too, I'll show you!" he snapped his gaze to you before opening up his book and this time you couldn't hold back a laugh.
"Oh Henry, I wish."
"No, look, it's you!" he showed you a picture of the character he thought was you - and even though you had to admit they looked quite a bit like you, you knew that wouldn't be real. But you decided to play along anyway.
"Yeah, if you say so." you smiled and ruffled Henry's hair, making Henry sigh in defeat.
