background information
Water:
Water aligned creatures mostly live in the sea, coasts or icebergs. They are known for collecting wisdom, valuing travel and have a interest in maps.Spear-shells are the Water Kingdom’s currency. Most water people can control the water to however they want, and some can make or manipulate ice.
Fire:
Fire aligned creatures live on volcano cities and deserts. They are skilled in romance( as romantic literature is known for almost exclusively being written by fire scribes), and are fascinated by books and scrolls. Their currency is Emberstones. They can shoot small embers to large fireballs (depending on their skills) from their fingertips, be heat resistant, and some can pour lava out of their hands.
Death:
Deathly creatures live in wastelands , underground and dead forests. They are known for chaos, and their threats against the other elements. Some people believe death elementals are just myths. Their currency is Diamonds. They can throw and manipulate shadows, magically cause plants to die, and some stronger mages can give or remove life times.
Life:
Ones that hail from the treetops are often life elementals. They are known for their (sometimes) lively personality and being the main exporter of fruits across the world. Some dedicate themselves to the study of time and history, these researchers wear a magic hourglass with greensand around their neck and they aren’t uncommon. Stormleaves are their currency. They can regrow plants, remove poison from food, and some old and very powerful mages can give life time and bring someone to life again.
