Chapter Text
It was quiet in Wednesday and Enid's room, mainly because Enid wasn't there and Wednesday was working on her novel. She had just finished a chapter when someone came running through the door. It was Enid.
"Wednesday guess what" Enid said a bit too loudly and excitedly.
"What." Wednesday replied slightly annoyed.
"Sooooo, I was invited to this party by Xavier and I wanted you to come with me" Enid walked towards Wednesday and stood behind her chair.
Wednesday took a deep breath then replied, "I don't want to go, but out of curiosity, who's all going to be there?"
"Uhh, I think just like Xavier, Bianca, Yoko, Aja-" Enid was cut off by Wednesday, who had turned around in her chair to face Enid.
"I'll go. What time is it?" Wednesday never liked Ajax, she didn't know why but anytime she would see him and Enid together she felt this dreadful feeling in her stomach, and not in a good way. She couldn't tell it was jealousy, and even if she knew, she would never admit it.
Enid was shocked by Wednesdays reply, "Oh, okay, it's at 8, so be ready by like 7:30 so we can get there on time"
Wednesday nodded and got up, she looked at her clock, it was already 6 so she decided to just get ready now. She couldn't stand the thought of Enid being alone with Ajax.

Wednesday and Enid arrived at the party, almost everyone who went to Nevermore was there. Wednesday immediately spotted Ajax as him and Xavier walked up to the two.
"Hey guys, I'm surprised you could drag Wednesday here, Enid." Ajax said, hugging Enid.
Wednesdays eye twitched slightly, she hated when they would be touchy with each other. She could never figure out why it bothered her so much but it always drove her crazy.
"Yeah, and I didn't even have to beg her to come!" Enid said, laughing.
"Do you guys want something to drink?" Ajax asked the other 3, they all nodded.
Ajax left to go grab everyone their drinks.
"Enid, are you and Ajax in a relationship?" Wednesday asked in a jealous tone.
"Uh, no? And even if we were why do you care?" Enid said, a little offended.
Just in time, Ajax came back with everyone's drinks.
"Xavier, I got your drink but it spilled a little"
"Did it spill or did you drink some of it?" Xavier asked jokingly.
Wednesday took a sip of her drink and actually...liked it? She didn't know what was in it but she thought it tasted good enough. After time went by they all had atleast 3 drinks in there system. Enid grabbed onto Wednesday, stumbling a bit.
"I feel so weird right now Wens, can we go back to the room?" All of her words were slurred together and she wasn't making much sense.
Ajax looked worried, "Oh shit. I forgot to tell you guys those drinks had like a fuck ton of alcohol in them."
The other 3 looked at him.
"Are you being serious." Xavier said a bit angry.
"I'm sorry, I forgot!" Ajax said concerned but also a bit scared.
"I'm taking Enid back to the dorm." Wednesday said angrily as she grabbed Enid.
"Calm down Wens, he didn't mean it"
"I don't care. I don't like you hanging out with him." Wednesday was starting to feel a bit tipsy herself but still dragged Enid to their room.
Why did she care so much? it's not like her and Enid were dating let alone close friends. She felt that dread in her stomach again, yet it was much worse. The only emotion she felt that she could identify was anger. She was furious at Ajax for allowing himself to do something so stupid. Why did he put Enid in harm's way?
