It's night time and everyone is suppose to be asleep but a certain egoistical striker with blue eyes and ravenish hair wouldn't stop training. His eyes full with determination as his direct shot ability activate and he shoots the ball into the net. He stops to take a break and drink water while wiping off his sweat with a cloth. He looks at the time on his phone and it's already 2 in the morning. He had been training for almost 2 hours now.
After this dribbling training. I will go to sleep. He promise to himself because his eyes are starting to get tired and his energy is worn out.
Suddenly, the door the training ground would open and reveal a tall figure with black hair and slim teal eyes and also a distinct eyelashes. Isagi looks up from his phone to see that his rival or boyfriend standing at the door. He's curious because Rin is not known to be a night owl and opens his mouth to say something.
"Rin? What are you-"
Within a split second, he was pull in a tight embrace by Rin who rest his head on the crook of Isagi's neck and Isagi who also wraps his arm around his boyfriend. Rin inhaled his boyfriend's scent, smelling his sweat that is mixed with Isagi's honey scent.
He smells good even when sweating...
Rin just hummed as a response when Isagi greeted him with a simple. "Hi."
"Are you okay?"
Rin shakes his head as Isagi ask another question.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
Rin shakes his head but deep down Isagi knows that Rin wants to let it all out but he's shy even with his boyfriend around.
"Let's take a seat. My legs are gonna worn out anytime soon."
Rin hesitantly let go of Isagi as he takes a seat with his legs sprawled out and his hands tapping on his thighs as a gesture for Rin to lay down on his thigh. Rin quickly acts and lay his head on Isagi's thigh and getting comfortable as he looks up to see Isagi's heart-warming smile. Isagi places hand on Rin's forehead and proceeds to comb Rin's hair while he rest his other hand on Rin's chest.
"I know you want to talk about it. Just tell me, I promise I won't laugh."
"I had a nightmare." Rin reluctantly said as he turns to his side and buries his face into Isagi's stomach. Isagi could see that Rin's ears is in a light shade of red. Isagi let's out a little chuckle.
"You said you wouldn't laugh." Rin's voice sound muffled.
"What? I'm just chuckling."
"Chuckling is also a form of laughter."
"Okay, genius."
Isagi realized they been gone a bit off topic. "So... What nightmare did you have?"
"It's about..." Rin's breathing started to pick up the pace but Isagi wouldn't notice as it is very subtle.
"About?"
"You leaving me alone for another man..." This time his heart beats faster and this time Isagi could notice it as he hugs Rin's head and rest it on his chest up to the point Rin could hear Isagi heart beats slow and steady.
'Badump, Badump, Badump' The heartbeat itself is very soothing and calm and that was enough to make Rin's heart stop pacing heavily. He closes his eyes as he listens very carefully while Isagi combed his hair.
Soon, Isagi would position Rin into a sitting position and cupped Rin's face.
"Listen. No matter what happen, I'm still choosing you over anyone in the world." Isagi forms another heart-warming smile.
In that moment in time, Rin pin Isagi onto the grass and started to kiss him affectionately whilst asserting dominance by slipping his tongue into Isagi's mouth and exchanging salivas.
Oi lovebirds. Stop being disgusting. Go to sleep.
Ego's voice echoes through the training ground as Rin breaks the kiss and flipped Ego off before trying to kiss Isagi again but his boyfriend wouldn't allow him and put a hand over Rin's mouth.
"It's almost three and we got a match tomorrow. Let's go sleep and cuddle each other. Is that okay?"
Rin didn't want to but the idea of cuddling each other sound great so he thought he would just agree.
"Wait for me. I gotta shower first and then I'll come back to your room."
After taking a shower, as promised Isagi and Rin cuddle each other while also exchanging kisses.
"I love you, Yoichi."
"I love you too, Rin"
Rin got some good sleep thanks to his boyfriend's heartbeat and his lullaby humming.
