Crescent City Headcanons

Summary:

Basically just a bunch of Headcanons for the Crescent City series by Sarah J Maas. Let me know if you have any ideas for Headcanons :)

Notes:

I nearly didn’t post this but here we go. I didn’t proofread this. I swear I’m normally a good writer! I’ve never written headcanons before, so this is kind of an experiment. Sorry if it reads weird, or if phrases or words are repetitive. I wasn’t sure what tense to put it in, or what format to write the headcanons in.

Work Text:

How you met:

You were in Bryce’s dance class with Madame Kyrah. Like June, you were a soloist at CCB, and took Madame Kyrah’s class to clear your head and be able to dance without the weight of intensive training.

It’s June who introduces you to Bryce. You and Bryce become inseparable, until one day she invites you over for pizza at her apartment. While at her apartment, Hunt arrives with the Frat Pack™, who immediately start freaking out over Bryce’s new friend.

Flynn, as a certified member of the Frat Pack™,  is the one who tells his friends to calm down. You two lock eyes, and he smiles.

As the evening wears on you find yourself sitting next to Flynn, talking about anything and everything. This becomes the start to a great friendship.

Asking you out:

Flynn was originally nervous about asking you out. His friends started to notice his attraction to you, and begged him to ask you out.

Bryce was as bad as the Frat Pack™. Your attraction to each other was so obvious, it pained her to know that she was friends with two such clueless people.

It was in a garden in FiRO where you finally became official. The two of you were walking alone. Flynn had invited you to come with him on his evening walk, just outside the Frat House™.

He sucked in a breath and you panicked, blurting out what was on your mind before you could think.

“Go out with me?” You said, your voice a little higher and a little louder than intended. Flynn looked at you, alarmed.

“Be my girlfriend?” He asked, his voice equally panicky. You agreed, and kissed him deeply.

His friends:

The Frat Pack™ weren’t too surprised when you two started dating. It was inevitable, simply a matter of time to when you would claim each other.

Lighthearted joking. You basically live in the Frat House™ half the week, so to them you are basically their roommate.

When you and Flynn finally move out, the Frat Pack™ are devastated. Their sorrow is diminished, however, when they find out that you two are moving into an apartment directly opposite the Frat House™.

Day to day life:

Lots of affection. Kisses before leaving for work, hugs all day every day. You both work long hours, so the time you have together is important to you.

You have a bad habit of ordering takeaway on nights when either of  you can’t be bothered to cook. One day, Flynn decides enough is enough and takes a cooking class. The next day you walk into your kitchen, only to find every surface covered in cooking equipment you didn’t even know you owned.

Eventually, Flynn’s cooking skill improves, to the point where your friends come round routinely to eat. It ends up with both of you packing food into Tupperware containers and delivering it to your friends’ houses to ensure they don’t go hungry.

Children?!

You two haven't discussed the topic of children for many years. There wasn’t really any point - as you were both fae, you figured that you had eternity to have children.

After decades together, you finally decide to try.

A year later, your first child is born: a baby girl. Flynn adores her, and becomes the ultimate girl dad. A few years later, you have another girl, your last child. Neither you nor Flynn had a very good relationship with your respective siblings, and as a result do everything to make sure your daughters know the importance of family and getting along.
