Work Text:
The two stared.
Somehow, there was a familiarity between the two, as they met in dreamland, or perhaps it was Santa ’s domain. It didn’t matter That one Susan had her hair neatly pulled to each side, resulting in a beautiful part down the middle, the length going to below her shoulders, or that the other Susan’s hairstyle involved bangs and a hair length just above the shoulders.
The two knew they were the same person, Susan, just from a different time and universe.
“Did you get your Christmas wish?” one Susan asked.
“I believe in Santa, don’t I?” the other said.
“Me too.”
And without saying it, before they both woke up and forgot everything, they both knew they had wished for the same thing, just a different time and a different universe, and that any other universe would hopefully end up the same way because of Santa Clause.
