Mayumi sighed and rubbed her temples. She hated when her mind just wouldn't stop racing. It was like her brain couldn't just turn off and do its thing.
She needed a distraction. Something to take her mind off of everything that was going on. She thought about things for a while, trying to come up with something, but nothing seemed to work.
She looked around the room, contemplating what she should do. She could try to talk to someone, but she was afraid that it would just be a waste of time. She didn’t know anyone here, and it would be very awkward trying to talk to them. Plus, she had a feeling that they would just think she was weird. She sighed and decided that there was nothing that she could do.
She stood up and started to leave the Library. It had been a bad idea to come here in the first place.
